Review Miss India Greenslopes - Brisbane

Butter chicken is good but I won't get the lamb korma again. It's usually one of my favourite indian dishes but the lamb wasn't tender and the sauce was watery with little flavour. Not nice and creamy as I'm used to.

Ordered on Uber eats. Naan bread was so thick, overcooked and stale. It was thinner than a wrap and cooked more than a pizza base is. The butter chicken was also lacking. The chicken was filled with gristle and extremely chewy couldn’t eat more than 3/4 of my meal. Not fresh at all. Not the first time, thought I give them the benefit of the doubt and order again but nope. Only thing edible was the rice and drinks. Not worth it.

Went there last night, Said to her I was hungry, Asked her for three spicy meats 2 garlic cheese nan ,seen the plate just a normal plate slapped in.disappointed. ask for a salad riata yogurt and a lasa drink ,she said extra extra large when I was paying ; $43 She handed me the salad was like a table spoon I said keep it, still hungry, worse decisions I made , Got the nan bread in the way out can't it by itself , Worse

I knew this business when it was at Coorparoo and I am partial to Indian cuisine it is production line Indian food from a bain marie but the selection is wide and because of the turnover, it is fresh I had mild lamb korma because I wanted lamb or goat and I did not see any goat curry. The lamb pieces were tender and fairly generous and the Korma curry was as expectedly average It was served with basmati rice, a samosa and pappadums for $13.90 takeaway so the price is right You can dine in but take-away is their main staple. Unpretentious and typical Westernised Indian food I went back this week and had the 2 veggie and 1 meat curry plate for $13.95. See the photo. The curries were lamb and potato, eggplant and veggie korma. Delicious

I really like coming here when I don't have the energy to cook. butter chicken and mango chicken are my go-to and the naan is very big and also good.

Really good quality food, and hot! Their garlic and cheese naan is delicious. I wouldn’t mind just a small amount of spice in their butter & mango chicken dishes, but they’re still pretty good as they are. Great customer service and always speedy.

I have been always served correctly and nicely. But there are mistakes happening in last 2 visits. I can be tolerate to you guys but I am not that type of person to go back and change the whole food if you forget to add potato filling or garlic filling in my nan bread after I start eating it. But it's always easy to charge extra filling prices when its on payment part. Today's serve was also terrible. They put whole Nan Bread in a bag and leave it on the table when I was ready to dine in. It could be nice to serve on a plate with some garnish & salad I guess. Thanks for your customer service. I still love Indian foods. Still can give you 3 stars 🌟🌟 🌟

Used to come here all the time for a quick takeaway, food and service was great!
But slowly started going downhill, naans got smaller and were no longer being made in the tandoor oven, service wasn’t as good so we stopped visiting.
Decided to give it one last go tonight and it’s worse than ever, prebought naans that taste worse than the frozen ones you can buy at the store, portion sizes have gotten waaay smaller but prices have gone up and although there was 4 staff on there only seemed to be one actually serving customers.
Not to mention they had spring rolls and honey soy chicken wings sitting out instead of the usual pakoras and tandoori chicken pieces.

The food is pretty good here.

BUT the service is rubbish

1) You wait ages for Naan
2) If you phone in an order so that you don't have to wait ages for the naan, they'll make a mistake and you'll still wait ages because they gave your naan to someone else or it's sitting in a paper bag and even though you pointed at it and ask if it's your naan they will say no and then later change their minds because they have no organised system of communication there. (I know this is a rant but it happened to me 3 times in a row so they deserve this rant).

3) The staff shout in general conversation. The older woman (probably the boss) who stays in the back most of the time is the worst for it. I wait for naan and listen to her speaking in Indian and the top of her voice. It's ok for a few minutes but after 20 minutes it is so unpleasant.

They have some tables where you can dine in but nobody seems to use the environment is hot, loud and irritating.

As much as I like the food and it is so close to my house I've started going elsewhere.

If you want a good variety of quick take away (or dine in) Indian, this is not bad. The dishes don't look like they've been sitting there all day like in some take away shops. They are tasty and you can tell the difference between the different types of curries. My favourite is the eggplant and potato (Aloo Baingan) which is medium heat and ideal for vegetarians. I love the lamb vindaloo but frankly it's not that hot for me :) Good value is getting the Thali plate: for around $14 you get 2 meal curries of your choice, one vege curry, popadom, rice, mini salad, small amount of raita, even if you eat in! We add a garlic naan, pakora and a couple of sodas and it's a good night! Warning: I do agree with everyone's comments though that the service is getting less and less desirable. Oh well, if it gets to that way, there's plenty of other Miss India's around!

Waited 20 minutes for a Naan after the rest of the meal, was given the wrong one, had to wait again. Our meal went cold, not a single "sorry" was offered, acted like we inconvenienced them by being a customer.

I have previously been a regular customer but have noticed a progressively more surly service here. Tonight will be our last night as the attendant mostly filled the containers with sauce and little meat or vegetable. Despite being the only customers in the shop, both our Naan breads were burnt to an inedible state. The dhal was just awful and tasted nothing like what it should.

We've been to this miss India in the past and the service was acceptable however the staff at miss India greenslopes are very rude. They constantly run out of product that is included in their combo meals and do not replace sold out product to make the combo valid.
We went to order at 12:45pm for lunch and were told that they do not serve naan bread until 1pm and that there would be a 20min wait. They also shut down all of their product an hour an half before they close. If you are not going to serve menu items an hour and a half before close, then maybe you should close an hour early. Very dissatisfied with the service and the way they spoke to us as if they did not care. They have lost this very loyal customer and do not recommend them to anyone.... If you're ever in a great mood for Indian, this is the best place to go to ruin it :-/
I've only really been here for lunch on multiple occassions with friends. The prices are very good and the food is always delicious. However the range of food is quite repetitive, and the service can sometimes be a bit slow, especially with a large group. It is a great place for a last minute quick lunch stop with friends. But it wouldn't be at the top of my list.

A very unsatisfied customer. (Worst Buttered Chicken i ever had). I visited your Greenslopes Restaurant yesterday at 12:00pm for lunch on the ( 8/4/2015) and i had the Holy Cow meal is was so discussing it nearly made me sick the service and Restaurant was good but the meal was not fit for human consumption i will never go to a Miss India Restaurant again.

Diana. Second visit to Miss India, first time was at Cooparoo which I think had the edge on this one. The naan bread here was under cooked & pale & when I asked for extra chilli (as I find their curries very mild) was told they had no fresh chilli & couldn't add powder. We came to an agreement in the end where they put some powder in a bowl on the table for me to add!! The curries are pretty good apart from lack of heat both temp & spice wise. Miss India chain is fast & cheap with passable curries

A great dining experience!. We dined at Miss India and enjoyed had a great dining experience. It has a relaxing ambience and delicious traditional Indian food. The service was excellent too.

LOVE this place. I learnt my lesson well about straying from this place to find a better indian meal.
It cant be done.

Very Mediocre and lacks body and flavour.. Curries did not have taste as curries should. All done in haste and some were soooo salty, especially the Vindaloo beef which I had to throw away.. Unless, you are desperate, I would not purchase from there as there are others around which serves better curries

Affordable and tasty. The curry choice is plenty, we particularly enjoyed the special naan, quite tasty. Would definitely go again.
