Review Bavarian Bier Cafe - Broadbeach

Michael McRoberts
Popped in today for a quick spot of lunch! Overall a nice experience! We loved the fit out, service from the staff and beverages, all great. Won’t lie the food was average today… calamari felt partly cooked, chicken was a little overdone…. Just wasn’t the nicest. That said, would go again.
Andreea McLaren
Average food unfortunately. The schnitzel, coleslaw and mushroom sauce could have had more flavour. The menu is also not very traditional Bavarian. But the locale is cool and they have great beer/cider on tap.

Had a lovely night out with my sister. The food was excellent as always and just overall great quality. Service time was amazing and food came out quickly and correctly. Jordan was definitely the highlight of our night, fabulous customer service and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be coming back again and bringing more friends for a good time. 😁

Always a great time at The Bavarian Broadbeach! Delicious, hearty food (you will not be leaving hungry - and be sure to bring an appetite!😋) Big shout out to Cesar, he’s a fabulous manager as well as Sam more recently. Thanks team for all round good vibes always. Can’t wait to be back!

Very disappointed with the pork schnitzel… the meat was dry and chewy, the crumbs were thick and didn’t coat the meat well. The chef needs to attend a schnitzel making class before being offered a job here ! The Bavarian cabbage salad tasted like it was prepared last week and had been kept in the fridge ….

We dined here twice while on a ten day holiday to Broadbeach. Both times we ordered the BAVARIAN TASTING PLATTER from the classics menu - Crackling pork belly, crispy pork knuckle, German sausages, chicken schnitzel, sauerkraut, red cabbage, creamy mash, apple compote & bier jus Food is amazing! And beer is too PROST!

Today I was served by Kevin, who was such a legend and was extremely knowledgeable regarding the beers on offer. Kevins helpful tips pointed me to the Mango Weissbeir which I have to say was absolutely delicious. This is my second time here and the service offered by Kevin was next level. Will come back here again. 🙏👍🏼

This place is a must if you love a bit of atmosphere, awesome food, a quality German beverage and quality customer service. Go see Chris @ the barbarian broad beach.

Chipped glass and the service was disgustingly shocking. Highly not recommended.......................

We ate there on saturday. Alechandra was amazing with her staff. Everyone looked after us, played with our daughter, explained newest menu. We spent great time in Bavarian, music was German, beer was cold, and delicious same as pork knuckle! They have changed management since our last visit and improved so much. Venue looks beautiful! Well done, we will come back again

1). Tables remained uncleared and dirty glasses adored the bar. There were more dirty glasses on the bar than clean ones hanging 2). The service was poor. We waited ages to get served. 3). Two (2) rude South America ‘Colombian (?) females running the show, and never neither of them smiled once. One appeared to be the manager. 4). The service was poor. I would Not Return again 5). We were told quite curtly by a South America female bar staff member, wait your turn 6). All the staff seemed quite snotty and we won’t be bothering to stop by again. 7). No smiles from any of the bar waitress 8). Barmaid never cracked a smile and the other staff seemed to be doing other things but not serving customers. Happy hour (4-6pm) is always an attractive time to visit. $5 beers for 500ml beer on tap but your staff need to be trained properly 9). This place used to be good, but on our latest experience, we definitely won’t be back.
10). We ended up leaving before eating so I can’t comment on the food but that would have been difficult as most of the menu was unavailable when we visited. What sort of German restaurant doesn’t have any pork knuckle? Doesn’t have veal or pork schnitzel? Doesn’t have two thirds of its beer menu available?
11). The bar was disgusting with dozens of unwashed glasses. This was a terrible experience and we had no choice but to leave and find a restaurant that had food and respects its customers. Avoid this franchise and let it fold 12). The bar was disorganised, and we waited over 10 minutes to be served. The beer we wanted was off and I was given the wrong size wine. 13). We had waited so long to be served at the bar to get our first drink, we drank it and left to go somewhere else. Disgusting slow bar service 14). The service was shocking, honestly the short dark-haired barmaid who was “serving” was slow, didn’t smile and in general terrible. Overall, it took us about 25-30 minutes to get our drinks and were made to wait around while she then went over to clear other remaining empty tables... just terrible. 15). We probably would not return as there are far too many better places to eat in Broadbeach.

I had dinner at the Bavarian Bier Cafe on a quick trip to the Gold Coast. It was a pretty easy choice for me - I love pork knuckle!

It was an enormous serve with a huge pork knuckle coming out very quickly. Unfortunately, that was about the only positive I could say about the pork knuckle. It was so dry and while I hesitate to say it, it had the characteristics of a piece of meat that had been cooked some time back and reheated.

Unfortunately, it just wasn’t particularly enjoyable. The sauerkraut and mash was very average too.

Overall, a bit of a disappointing experience.

Great food, good drinks, and excellent service. If ur looking for a great late bite this is a good place! Awesome beer selection and good snacks. If going for dinner would recommend to call in advance to get a table inside.

Tried a so called Craft Beer yesterday (Saturday), which was a Pale Ale. I would normally get a Dunkel or dark beer but this seemed like it would be appealing. Should have stuck to my original thought. This place used to be pumping when it opened here 5 or so years ago. Things change I guess.

Absolutely love it here every time we are on holidays we come here and it's always amazing I usually get the pork belly and it never lets me down, the service is quick and the food is amazing for its price

Good Beer average food poor service!
They were busy but service was not great.
Wouldnt recommend when there are so many other great options surrounding them. Try the Loose Moose!

On a relatively coolish afternoon or evening in Broadbeach, the Bavarian Bier Cafe seemed a logical place to park for a drink or two and then, well, settle in for dinner and another beer or two.

The beer is great and at happy hour it represents some of the best value rounds I've come across: $5 for half litre, on-tap German beer, not to mention $5 spirits. I recommend the Bavarian Lager.

To eat, the Mac n' Cheese balls with blue cheese were on par, if not a little bland, but in reality it's the schnitzels you come here for. We ordered the BBQ schnitzel with jalapeños, and the Swiss, which appropriately came with Swiss cheese, ham and a tasty mash.

Service and clearance of tables was a little sloppy, but then you accept you're on a variation of 'island time' when in Broadbeach, which comes with the partially sedentary nature of a warm tropical beach town. I would return - especially for the beer.

DO: The Mixed platter, hot dog and original schnitzel.

DON'T: Over order. The meals are massive. However they always provide a take away container if required.

TIP: Sit inside for table service or sit outside for bar service. Personally I prefer inside in the booth.
Out For Lunch
Excellent, friendly, service with both quality and quantity of the food being excellent. The beer list is a stonker and the atmosphere is very happy and casual.

Went here for an after dinner drink, bar was empty but staff were attentive and friendly. Parents ordered from bar but unfortunately there was a 17 year old in the party and was asked for ID and refused service even though she was with her parents. The beer was good, could have been fresher from kegs but not a deal breaker. Moderate pricing.

Good food - 3.5 (great garlic bread)
Great service 4.5
Decor 3.0 ( our booth had a seat that needed replacement)
Ambience - loud / jovial / fun / spirited
Demographic - 25yrs - 40yrs / young families can go and eat early.
Terrible! The worst schnitzel I have had ever. Too thick and dry. Problem was I just came back from Germany. Not impressed! Service was average, but the beer was good!....and no donuts for desert! What th??
Mel
Terrible food. How could you run out of food during dinner service?? NO pork Knuckles at 5.45pm? Chef needs to get his act together with ordering stock.
Many years ago this place rocked, not anymore though, give it a miss for food.
It maybe a good place for drinks but that's where it stops. We ordered a tasting platter which was very oily and bland, the chicken schnitzel wasn't very nice, the tiny bit of pork belly was nice and then there was some sausages which were ok. We came for Knuckle and couldn't believe they had run out.
There are better places in Broadbeach to dine at.
Ben Stewart
I came here last saturday with a couple of my mates. We had a great time!! The Beer selection is outstanding and there new crafts beers are a good addition. I had a spicy burger which was the perfect amount of spice. Brilliant service from all Especially Johnny who was great banter
John Bell
Unbelievable - so many dishes including signature dishes not available. Waitress acknowledges it happens all the time and she has to face the clients. Poor showing
Paul Poree
Disappointed that some meals not available , particularly marquee meals. This was acknowledged as a common occurrence. Service from the staff was very good. Lacked atmosphere.
ToorakM
Such a cool spot for a drink and lunch - it's under the Oracle building and has a real light and airy feel. The german hot dog was perfect as was the chicken sesame salad and they have amazing sausage platters if you want to share too. We sat on the higher stools out front and there was a perfect breeze on a warm day. Better than the one in the CBD!
Martin C
Located in a good spot this BBC ticks the boxes. The menu is the usual which is general tasty and generous and the beer is good. We were stuck on Stiegl's for the evening. Sausage tasting plate was substantial and the Apple Strudel the modestly sweet finisher. Really friendly staff through the whole place despite it being pretty busy. Good experience all around.
Conrad Conrad
Ordered the BBQ pork ribs half rack with chips n slaw. Was delicious and a very generous serving. Beer was also very tasty and refreshing and would most definitely return for more. Downside is no separation from front bar so you're forced to listen to monotonous drum beats that kill the atmosphere a bit. Even with this however the food was a real highlight and German tape beer a treat, recommended.
Jeremy.crane
Lazy Sunday lunch, relaxed atmosphere. Staff greeted us and found us a seat despite all the reserved table toppers
Huge beer list!
Starters salt and pepper squid was light, tasty and well cooked
Mains of frankfurter hot dogs were good but large in quantity
We rate it! Great service
Mandm
Good German food. The food was pretty good but left feeling disappointed at the 1.5% surcharge on all bank cards. Then I couldn't take my unfinished meal with me. No take away containers?! This is not a classy establishment, it's a bier haus; I was looking forward to leftovers for lunch. I Won't be back.
Gareth Mays
Went to the Bavarian Bier Cafe for the first time in a few years, found the service great most tables were reserved but they found a spot for a table of 4 and our 8 month old, waitress was very helpful and attentive, food was great shared entree and all 4 mains were large well cooked and very filling, not to mention a sneaky stein or 2. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
The Chef's Wife
Food and Beer. So firstly when you are dining here you go with expectations of massive. glasses of delicious German beer with big servings of German Food. It's not a fine dine restaurant and it gets very busy. So whilst I never expected exceptional service, my personal experiences here with service have been great. But it's the beer that we come here for (Yum).... oh and their pork roll (with cracking, lime aoli, apple sauce, sauerkraut on brioche). This place is great for a fun night with friends.
Adsumb
Absolutely disgusting!. We had a family adventure to the Bavarian restaurant. Firstly, our waitress had a shocking "don't care" attitude! Unfortunately our food took 1h and 30 minutes to get to our table which was unacceptable half of the food on the menu weren't available (could only have chicken or steak) we ordered 2 steaks one that was over cooked and one that was cold. They returned with a fresh steak then half way through it a human hair was found in the steak while eating it. The Manager was concerned and conceeded defeat and offered a considerable discount! The owners need to seriously review the authenticity of their concept including staff!
Wednesday Day
A Really Terrible Experience. Breakfast this morning was a really terrible experience, probably the worst I've experienced anywhere. Thought I'd give it a go, "how badly can one stuff up breakfast?". I've had dinner and many alcoholic beverages there multiple times before.

The place wasn't busy, especially by its lunch and dinner time standards. They may have been understaffed; I can't say the staff are rude or useless because I feel like a lot of them might recognise me after being there so much before and we've always been friendly. For 9:30 on a Sunday morning, there's no excuse though. Especially during the main holiday period.

We ordered the smashed avocado dish; described as avocado on rye with "slow cooked hen's egg", dukkah and tomato (however worded to sound far more gourmet) for $16, and "fresh juices" ($5 & $8).

The juices weren't freshly squeezed. Would you expect to pay $5 for a glass of bottled juice? Maybe at Versace, but if I'd known I would have ordered a glass of water. Usually I'd ask if I wasn't sure, but when it's described as "Granny Smith Cloudy Apple"...? They didn't take so long to arrive, but it was hard not to drink it all while waiting for my real morning sustenance!

After already having waited 20 minutes for one meal, I noticed a nearby table who had been there before us. Two of the three received their meals (the same dish), but they sat there for 10 minutes expecting the Dad's meal to arrive momentarily. He eventually got up and asked them where it was. The waitress was apologetic but by the time she brought out his meal, the other two would have been stone cold (despite whether they'd arrived hot or not).

She didn't even try to offer any sort of compensation for his meal not being served before he had to leave the table to try and fetch it, or for them being incapable of serving three meals at once (even within a few minutes)... let alone cater to the poor girls who had to leave theirs to sit. They walked out soon after, leaving their beverages at least half full (including a 75% full Bloody Mary), and at least half of their food still on their plates.

My meal arrived five or so minutes later (maybe half an hour after ordering). Not the most visually appealing thing I've seen; it wasn't small, but the toast was burnt (rye has a strong flavour as is), the "smashed avocado" was diced and mixed with corn, bland and a bit brown looking (could have done with some lemon juice), the "dukkah" was pretty much nonexistent (it just looked like a sprinkle of paprika or something.. tasteless) but oh my lordy, the eggs... good'o to there being two (even though I only ate half of one) but seriously? I love eggs and if they'd been okay, I may have been able to walk out without a frown on my face. They were fridge-cold hard boiled eggs (as hard as they can get) plopped on top of the cold avocado.

Regretting not voicing my frustration and disappointment while I was there because never have I ever been so put off by something I paid $16 for. I didn't enjoy one bite. I would have been so much happier with butter and Vegemite on a piece of toasted Wonder White!

Seeing the people around me also feeling disappointed and / or peeved didn't make things better. Really, Bavarian, stick to opening at lunch unless you suddenly genuinely want your customers to have a pleasant experience. It just seems like a really slack attempt at bringing in some more cash flow to me... I'm sorry to say I hope it effects your reputation as a respected establishment because you're obviously not showing any respect to the people that keep you afloat.

I won't be back for anything other than beer. Red wine would be nice, but I'd rather buy a bottle for the same price as a glass of your cheapest.

Boycotting Bavarian Bier Cafe. Boycotting Bavarian Bier Café Broadbeach.
So my husband and I arrive there as we have many times before. Get told there will be a 20min wait and a name and number collected.
We think.."cool all good". Manager then encourages us to wait by the bar and get a drink, relax and he will get us when our table is ready... normal right?

So as my husband comes to the table outside with his beer ($15 worth) the security asks for his ID. All good. Asks for my ID. I advise I do not have my ID but I did not purchase a drink, am waiting for a table and don't intend to drink.

Well.. After arguing with the security guard, the manager comes over (after husband is about 3/4 of the way through his beer). To be told unless I produce an ID we cannot eat at the restaurant!!!!

Now.. last time I checked you don't need an ID TO F*****G EAT! I get it, don't serve me any drinks then... but refusing FOOD. We then had to wait for husband to FINISH his beer and leave!

Now the biggest flaw is. IT IS A FAMILY F*****G RESTAURANT! They allow kids to sit there with their parents who are drinking! But heaven forbid a married couple sit and have dinner! They assume responsibility for their kids, and then become their guardian for the night. But NOPE no ID no FOOD! AND the manager took our details for a table and TOLD US TO WAIT AT THE BAR AND GET A DRINK!!!
If this is apparently their "house policy" then it should be informed before you are asked to wait!

We have eaten at this place many times and have never had an issue. I understand if i don't have ID i cannot drink...but not being able to EAT is a joke. Will not be going there again!

Great huge schnitzels. The veal & port schnitzels are awesome!!! On Tuesday night it is $22 special for the pork schnitzel. The veal is appx $31.
Both meals were very tasty & huge servings. Will be back for sure.

Great Service! Fun time with good friends/family. We went there last weekend for my Birthday Sunday lunch. We had booked for 13 people so was a little disappointed when we arrived to find that we had been seated on two separate long tables back to back! People are here to celebrate my birthday and I have to sit with my back to them? The lady was apologetic and explained that they didnt have a single table to accommodate our numbers - I explained that I really should have been told that when I booked. Bad part over!
We really enjoyed our lunch and our waitress was awesome!! She moved one of the long tables up towards one of the booths so we sort of got to sit together. The food was great though and reasonably priced for the size of the meals. The hospitality was great and despite the seating situation I would go back again just not with a group! The cocktails were yummy and the schnapps were all part of the fun. Our waitress made the whole thing so much better :) Overall great atmosphere and we had a great time with our family and friends.

Yum! Good food and service. Best pork belly I've ever had. And damn tasty cheeseburger. Tasting platter for one was great value for money. Gin cocktail with jalapeño juice- amazing. Will be back to work our way through the menu.

It's like eating bad pub food but getting to pay so much more. I feel privileged to be able to give so much of my hard earned money over for something I would normally turn down. If this was the last place you could get a meal then I would eat my foot for far less pain.
Move on and just drink the beer. Don't bother with the food.
Mouthful
Disappointing and unsatisfying. Came here for breakfast after seeing some fairly positive reviews for the dinner fare. What a disappointment.
To start, we sat at an outdoor table for a few minutes without service. I went inside to ask whether we had to order at the bar, and a waitress said "No, we're just keeping everyone over this side of the restaurant". Not only was there no sign indicating this, but there was cutlery on the tables in question!!
So we found a decent table and ordered, then waited 15-20 minutes for hotcakes and banana bread.
The hotcakes were half-cooked... all mushy and inedible.
The banana bread was tiny (photo uploaded - airline food size), tough and crunchy. It was supposed to be served with ricotta, but came with yogurt.
We left disappointed and still hungry.
Geeps
Disgusting ricotta cakes that were still batter, tiny tiny dry tasteless morsel called banana bread that cost $10, bland coffee and slow service. They probably do good dinner but their breakfasts are woeful and a rip off. Plenty of better places around.
Joanna L
Great service great food. Had the munich meat platter twice, so worth it.
Jackie Cee
Bit pricey, but tasty. Expensive, and a $1.30 surcharge to pay with your credit card. Ate the chicken schnitzel and pork belly sliders. Pork belly was a standout. SUPER tasty. Still $10 for two tiny buns is a bit much. Beer is cold.
Rex
Nice food, but noisy. Really enjoyed the food, all meals were cooked beautifully. The service was prompt, but failed to listen to an minor changes to the standard offerings. That said, it is extremely difficult to enjoy your meals as the restaurant is so noisy. this wasn't assisted by two terrible examples of modern parenting.
Samantha
Just had our second visit and were sadly let down. Our first visit the food and staff were amazing, we had a group of 12 and the drinks and meals were quick and no issues about splitting bills. Tonight the food was a let down- tough and half done and the staff slow and forgetful. Also today they decided no more split bills, after telling us upon booking for our table of 12 again that we could. Probably will try eagle st pier venue instead, hoping for a higher standard all around.
Steve Hompes
Good food, good service unfortunately had the atmosphere of suncorp stadium on state of origin night.
Boags
Meals are expensive, your average main meal will set you back about $30. They aren't massive meals either but taste so good. The beers are great and for $11 you will get 500ml of Germany's best. The waiter service is good and they will make sure you always have a beer at close hand. I tried the Lowenbrau original beer, so good on a 30 degree day. Yum. Get your wallet out though and make sure it's full of cash.
Andrew Bauer
Surprisingly nice breakfast. Have enjoyed Dinner and Bier before but first time for brekky. Had Big Bavarian Breakfast. All very nice, eggs done perfectly.
Miss-Knox Knoxy
Yummy food. Fantastic food and service, great beer
Jane Santalucia
Authentic German. Great food, great cheap kids meals, beautiful beers, wonderful staff, main meals a little highly priced. All in all a lovely dining experience.
The Fixer
We reserved a table 2 weeks in advance for a friends 30th, when we arrived they said there were no tables available. They gathered up some chairs and a couple of tables and sat us out the back with next to the road. The food was nothing special and beers were over priced. I believe the alcohol content is not the same as its advertised. I haven't been back and neither have my friends. Go and enjoy a novelty oversized beer and then move on.
Darley
Great food, great service and of course great beer. Will be back
Laiza Lorenzoni
I went there yeasterday with a friend. We tried the flight beer. A tasting of 5 beers and we love it!! The food was beautiful as well
Julie Smith
Pleasant atmosphere. We had snacks and beers. The food is overpriced for what it is but that is pretty much everywhere in Broadbeach. What we did eat was good. The service was good.
Patrick
Perfect for people who like terrible service and empty pockets.. Terrible, unprofessional, disappointing.

It was my first visit to this establishment. I heard good things about it. They were wrong.

My colleagues were celebrating and so we ordered three 500mL beers. We decided to get pretzels with them after ordering. It took a good five to ten minutes to get someones attention behind the bar. The staff are oblivious to customers that need something.

We finally were noticed and made our order for three pretzels. We were told it shouldn't take long and was asked to take a seat.

Time went past, we were all holding back to drink our beers, as we wanted to drink them while eating our pretzels. TWENTY minutes went past, and we asked if our pretzels were coming soon. I asked a staff member if he could check on them for me. He said " I will check them as soon as I finish taking this tables order " The table had 15-20 people on it, and he had only taken about five at the time. We waited another four minutes.

TWO pretzels came out, we ordered THREE. We waited 24 minutes for two pretzels between three people. We revived ONE serve of MELTED butter. When you're paying 3.5 for a pretzel, you'd think you would recieve a decent amount of butter with it.

Before the waiter walked away, we said that we ordered three, and not two. They brought one out straight away. I was very unhappy at this point as it took 24 minutes for our pretzels to arrive, our beers were warm, as we waited for that long, and the last pretzel looked like a chunk was taken off the end.

I asked for the shift manager. Julia arrived, to attend to the issue. When I told her the story, she was apologetic. She grabbed one of the uneaten pretzel, and squeezed it like play dough. I believe she was checking the temperature. She offered to replace the beers, however we were too full to have another. I asked if it was ok if we came back next time to have our beers replaced. She advised it was fine, and ok.

The pretzels were chewy, I didnt particularly like them, I do think they need to make them more fluffy or crispy.

I revisited Bavarian Bier Cafe, witht the same group of people. I explained the story to one of the staff members on duty. She had to call Julia to confirm the problem. The staff member advised me that they could only offer me ONE 300mL beer.

After discussion. Thats what they were offering, and it was an insult to me and my friends for the poor service and poor quality of food that we received on our first visit here.

I look at this place, and think its just another PUB that will put a nice dint in your wallet. They should start to think about who's paying for the rent and their wages. CUSTOMERS.

Looks nice. Food & service is only ok. place looks great
Miss Initiative
Great service but.... I went here on the long weekend. We had a great waiter who was swiss and it was his second day. He was brilliant and very accommodating considering we had two toddlers with us (handfull!!). Drinks were great, service was great, awesome place to hang out and enjoy a chat on a cold rainy day. With two toddlers we waited way to long for our food to come out, there is only so long you can entertain children that small when they have finished a bowl of chips. I had the Schnitzel and to be honest have had better at the local pub. Other meals around the table looked pretty nice but I do believe this place is a little overpriced for what you get.
Xavier Quenon
Great beers..yummo!
Food was good but expensive for what you get... $30 for bangers and mash (German style) and a little sauerkraut
Coffee Man
The Hungarian goulash is the best!
Carly H
Loved it! Was on the expensive side but the food was fantastic. Had the tasting plate and a schnitzel and pretty much licked the plate clean. Service was great and quick. What's the go with chairs on the angled floor? Didn't sit in them but can imagine them to be awkward. Recommend this place very highly.
Craig
Expensive but good food and good beer. Pork Knuckle is great as are the pretzels.
Debbie Ryan
Great service, food was delicious..food & drink prices on the expensive side but overall a wonderful experience.. Money well spent!
Sheldyn Jesen
From the moment I stepped foot into this cafe, there was an evident lack of service and friendly faces. If it wasnt for the quick move from outside to inside I dont think I would have got served ever, even though I still waited 25 minutes to be even given a menu. Then an extra 15 minutes to place an order. On top of this I waited another 30 minutes for drinks and the meal still hasn't come. All around bad service. It took them another 20 minutes to tell us there would be a wait. Good deco and vibe about the place but poor effort on everything else. Would not recommend.
Hamish The Opinionated
Shame I have to write a negative review because I think my wife and friends enjoyed their meals. I rarely send plates back to the kitchen, but I came close with my crackling pork belly. There was no crackle, more like pork flavoured chewing gum, it was underdone, vegetables... Simply put, yuk. However, thankfully desert was ok. Beer was great. Hospitality was nice, though a little kitch

Pure Bier | Pure Food | Pure Passion – the café’s slogan demonstrates the restaurant’s emphasis on bier, made according to strict Bavarian Purity Laws dating back to 1516, which allow only four ingredients to be used in the making of bier: malt, barley, yeast and water. Choose from the specialty pure biers, many available on tap, including Lowenbrau Original, Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier Hell (available on tap), or Franziskaner served with splash of mango juice. Draft bier comes in three sizes: 300ml, 500ml and the massive litre steins, most often associated with the Oktoberfest.
Tracey Meyer
I was keen to try the roast pork belly with crackling, bier jus and vegetables. At $29 it doesn't come cheap but after finishing everything on my plate, I decided it was worth every penny. The crackling was perfectly roasted, the pork tender and I absolutely adored the jus, which smothered the veggies and small roasted potatoes. If they can keep producing dishes of similar quality, then I'm sure many folks would return as would I.
Libby Margo
The veal was tender, while the coating was perfectly golden and crunchy.
