Review Bin 232 - Broadbeach

Reasonably priced, good value for money. Friendly staff and great food. Located inside Pacific fair it is easily one of the best restaurants in the entire centre. Good cocktails, great food and friendly staff cannot ask for more then that. Will be back!

All of the food has lovely flavours, everything cooked perfectly. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, definitely top customer service. They only had 2 foh for 8+ tables but managed the place so well. We had the arancini, cured salmon, seafood agnolotti and duck spring rolls. Panna cotta to share.

It's a nice place to sit and chill. The lunch menu tastes great but the portion is a tad small for the price. This place would be a good meet up point to grab a beer while waiting for your mates to arrive.

Chicken still red raw in middle, when shown to staff, then taken to kitchen was told it was OK to eat but they would cook longer if we wished, that is definitely not cooked correctly. Then were going to charge for the meal though not eaten, when told not paying, they did not dispute but definitely not impressed with my descion.

Absolutely mind blowing. Excellent quality food, well-priced. Best value for money. A good tonic for a well-deserved rest. Great bar. Full wine & cocktail list, other beverages too. Bright and airy, takes you away from an otherwise hairy day. Try the bug and prawn pasta or the silky textured eggplant or anything else you desire - excellent quality and value. Terrific service. You’ll love the staff who are friendly and capable.

Had our first lunch here with all my siblings since the pandemic. The food as always was excellent. Mia, the maitre'd was so helpful and accommodating with our party. She set us up in the separate area so Dad wouldn't be affected by the shopping centre noise. It reminds me that great customer service is rare these days, I'm so glad Bin 233 can still do it. Thanks Mia 👍❤️

Have wined and dined here a handful of times over a fair few years and have never been disappointed! Delicious food which is fairly priced for the quality and consistency, good selection of drinks, great service and an special mention to the patience of Justin and the kitchen when we ran a bit late for our booking. Highly recommended!

Had the most fantastic prawn stuffed baby zucchini flowers today - AMAZING- highly recommend - fabulous service from everyone and in particular front of house Mia - I highly recommend a visit

Pot luck that we ended up here for tea but so glad we did. We had 4 young kids but the staff were more than accommodating. 4 adults, we all shared meals that were to die for. Couldn’t fault them. Only minor detail was a bit of confusion about happy hour and what time that was and what drinks were included but other than that, great night!

Finally got the chance to dine here tonight for dinner after eyeing the menu off for several weeks. OMG - Amazeballs!!! The service was absolutely amazing. Such lovely staff. The food was Devine! The Asian Sticky Pork Salad was so delicious - the salad worked so well with the richness of the pork belly & that crackling OMG! The Prawn Stuffed Zucchini Flowers & the Mozzarella Balls were also to die for. And that Panna Cotta.... No words to describe it.... Just wonderful & the perfect end to a meal. Good prices, awesome food, nice atmosphere & great service! We'll definitely be back

Bin 232 is the place to be after a long day at work. I highly recommend coming in for drinks and nibbles just to relax. On top of that, the service was amazing!! Hat's off to Abby (so lovely, amazing, friendly) and Justin for being so welcoming and professional. Will definitely come back!

Went to BiN last night it was amazing . Front of house was superb with service and couldn't giver more credit to The back of house . The beef cheek melts in your mouth and was the best food I have had in a while and this is coming from someone who use to be an apprentice chef and work in hospitality for years . Couldn't recommend this place more

To start with, the staff are amazing! So welcoming & friendly and their smiles are infectious. Their cocktails are great but especially the Espresso Martini & the Stone & Vine cocktail. The share plates are great too. Portions were ample and variety of choices were good. Their Pork Belly was Devine!!

We were waved to choose a table over there. Had to set our own table and get our own menus. Eventually we were offered a drink. The barman was out wiping and clearing tables and serving food, hardest working person there. 2 tables within view of us ate 1/4 of their food, not a good sign, and the tables were left dirty for most of our meal. Mine was burnt and hubby’s was rubbery. Won’t be back.

The wait staff were excellent however I was a little disappointed with the food, the restaurant itself looks awesome, which is why I stopped to eat there. As the saying goes two out of three ain't bad, just need to get the food up to speed with the venue's appearance.

I have the privilege of being left here as daddy care while my wife shops. I have always enjoyed my time with the friendly staff and watching the world walk by, the only reason we dont stop for a full meal is the lack of dietary requirement meals such as gluten free options. Otherwise I enjoy my weekly visit.

I’m Australian and like every Australian I enjoy a good pint . Standard pints are over 500mL the shock that your making people pay over $10 for 300mL in your tall glasses is flat out robbery. I also checked measurements of these glasses with a bottle of coke. Bin by name and bin by reputation. Flat out garbage!!!

Been here 3 times now. Food is fabulous but the staff are slow, and look unmotivated. We get passed by all the time without an are you ready to order or would you like a drink. On all 3 occasions we have had to get up and ask to order and today we were not the only ones. The food is awsym but I'm sorry to say the staff let it down each and every time.

I've been here a few times and always had a good meal. Last night I had a very quick pre-cinema dinner of Edamame and Prawn Stuffed Zucchini Flowers. Great food served quickly and lovely staff who had time for a quick chat and were very attentive! I'll definitely be back!

Had the best dirty martini from Alvin. Great recommendation of beer too. Nice joint. Will try the food next time.

We had lunch special. I had soba noodle salad which was very light taste and my friend had sticky pork salad which was very rich but tasty. Staff was very friendly and good service.

Came here looking for a quick lunch after seeing a movie in the cinemas nearby. Ordered the pork belly and a side of rosemary-salted chips.
Pork belly was beautifully succulent and the pickled apple and sauce complemented it well. One small let down was that the "crispy skin" was not crispy as the sauce soaked through on the top (perhaps, if the sauce was on the bottom of the pork belly, it would leave the skin crispy?).
Portions were reasonable. Service was friendly and efficient. Fully stocked bar available.

Great little restaurant. Food was very fresh and very creative. Even at a busy day the food came out pretty quickly, we were very happy to try

Stopped for a quick drink and snack. Fresh natural oysters were beautifully fresh and tasty and presented nicely. Jamon and Mozzarella balls however were a miss. 1. oily. 2. what jamon? (couldn't see it, couldn't taste it) 3. aioli with an already creamy filled item? Should've been sweet chilli or a tomato relish, needed a fresh contrast. Waitresses were all quick and pleasant. Friend enjoyed her prawn stuffed zucchini flowers. But most of all the drinks came quickly. I'd go again to try other things on the menu.

We shared a few dishes between myself and my sister. Asian pork belly salad, Mozzarella balls, Mixed olives, prawn stuffed zucchini flowers and a sticky pork belly dish (honestly I can't remember exactly what they where) but anyhow it was all amazing! Great cocktails from their bar staff and most importantly the waitresses very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Good music and nice atmosphere.

Great place, great staff, great food. Food is so tasty and somewhat addictive! My go to place at Pacific Fair. Mozza Balls and pulled pork taco are my favs. Good stuff guys, keep it up!

I really really enjoy this place, the tapas meals like the squid or the teriyaki chicken is just superb. By and far your best choice at Pac Fair.

Stopped in for a couple of soft drinks and a small plate of salt & pepper squid with Yuzu mayo. Squid was crisp coated and tender inside. Slightly oily but still good. Mayo wasn't strongly Yuzu flavoured. Pleasant vibe. New store within newly renovated part of Pacific Fair. Rating is based on calamari only, can't speak for rest of the menu.

So on the last day of our holiday on the Gold Coast, we had some time to kill between checking out and flying out. We were just going to do some mindless shopping and random walk abouts before making our way nice and early to the Virgin Australia Lounge to kick back in and eat our way through the hours before boarding.

Instead and completely by accident while looking for the bathroom at Pacific Fair, I happened past Bin 232 and saw some of the food being tabled and it looked fantastic. Still a bit wary and battle worn from my experience at Four Winds and every other place we have eaten at in Surfer's so far I still wasn't sure we should try to poison ourselves before being stuck on a 3 hour flight ... but we chanced it anyway.

There isn't much to make of Bin 232 ... the main aspect of the restaurant looks like a bar/restaurant anywhere in Australia, or New Zealand for that matter, but it is attached to a mall and in a part of the mall that attaches itself to other similar quality dining experiences (at least from what I could assess and assume based on appearances and menus). Like a lot of food courts, there is a central eating area, which is where we chose to sit if only because it was 2-3 degrees cooler than inside Bin 232.

The menu is made up of a small and large plates with food being predominantly asian fusion dishes. Not a huge selection but certainly enough to tempt most tastebuds. Small plate prices range from around $12-18 and as for most tapa like experiences, you can expect to have 1.5-2 small plates per person. How that works out is if you have a group of 2 you will need 3-4 plates, for a group of 3, around 4-5 ... subject to how hungry your company is or is not. The larger plates I wont go into as we didn't order any.

We ordered the Fried Jamon & Mozzarella Balls, Salt & Pepper Squid, Asian Sticky Pork Salad, Beef Empanadas, a bowl of fries (largely for our child) and popcorn chicken.

Food came out one by one, rather than together, which made it easy to get through. The empanadas were first, consisting of 4 of them. The pastry was light and fluffy and while there wasn't a huge amount of filling within them, they were still fairly tasty and flavoursome. Next came the Fried Jamon (which is a type of ham) Mozzarella Balls, accompanied by a mayonaise. This was my favourite of the dishes and was also loved by my 2 yo son. These certainly made up for the cold arancini that I had at Four Winds the night before.

The Asian Sticky Pork Salad was tasty, sweet so not entirely to my liking but my wife loved it. I did however love the Salt & Pepper squid. The tempura was exactly how I liked it, light and very crispy.

The food was so good that we actually didn't need the Popcorn Chicken. Which was a good thing because it was actually forgotten. However we were refunded and the manager was apologetic and to be honest, I can forgive a wee failing like that when the food is so so good! The plates actually ended up being a wee bit larger than we expected as well, so we were probably being ambitious anyway hoping to finish off another plate.

Presentation of the food was fantastic, it looked good and it tasted better. The staff were friendly, all in all, Bin 232 saved the reputation of the Gold Coast in my eyes. I was about to go home having given up on any and all eateries in GC and then Bin 232 just throws that back in my face ... and I'm happy that they did.

I only wish now that they could open a restaurant in Christchurch ... but will definitely be back on my next trip. I can just sit and eat while my wife goes shopping around Pacific Fair!

So while I haven't given a perfect score, largely because of the missed plate, I can forgive wee things like that when the food is so good and the service pretty good as well - so I would have loved to have given a 5 but 4.5 is by no means a negative reflection on these guys. Do visit!!! Your tastebuds will love you for it!

My girlfriend and I went for a Christmas shopping so we stopped by at bin 232 the newly opened restaurant in pacific fair shopping centre. I was expecting some sort of a fast food quality but boy I was wrong. Everything we ordered was very close to perfection. My favourite was the braised beef cheek. This dish has got to be the best beef dish I have ever had in my life.
Food came out quick as well which is very suitable for restaurants in shopping centres.
I apologise for understanding thos place, I absolutely loved every second of being there!

Came here for lunch, deco has an industrial feel; with a full bar on one side and seating area on the other. we were greeted by a waitress and seated quickly. The place was quite busy already; the menu is Japanese inspired and the drinks menu was pretty good with a mixture of cider, beers, wines, cocktails and spirits. Service was professional, friendly and quick. Food came out staggered and we ordered a few small dishes to share and one main dish.
Bruschetta - was crunchy, lots of fresh tomato and just right
Shoestring fries with spicy mayo dipping sauce - was really good
Popcorn chicken - too much tempura batter that you could hardly taste any chicken. I would have preferred to have the sauce on the side instead of coated around the popcorn chicken.
Barramundi with soft shell crab - this dish was fantastic! Fish was cook perfectly and the sauce and veges complimented it well

Great cocktails and drink menu. Probably the best place in broadband to grab food and drink
Seating area is really nice. Live music sometimes.
