Review Yum Cha Cuisine Pacific Fair - Broadbeach

The service at this Restaurant was very good despite the full house. However, the food didn't match. We have been to other outlets elsewhere and have come to expect very good food, with the outlet in Chinatown Singapore the best. My take is for dim sum, Southport have better food, but cannot match the service at Yum Cha Pacific Fair.

Great food and staff. Must have been hard to stay open during pandemic and no Chinese tourists. Can be a little inconsistent, but have been dozens of times!

Great food overall. You could taste the freshness of the prawn dumplings. The deep fried squid was delicious. The ha cheung could do better with a little bit more sauce.

We are tourists from Sydney. Steam foods are ok. And,We have tried our best to be nice and finish the roasted duck. But we can't. All medium well???Medium well cooked duck??? Can not believe this restaurant has so many people eating inside. I really believe they have never tried real Chinese yum cha before.

The 1 star rating is specifically for the obnoxious , stuck up waitress named Amber who appeared to be only interested in pleasing non Asian customers but disrespectful and inconsiderate to other paying customers. We merely asked for a crispy noodle order to be submitted first for my hungry children , as it would take more time for the kitchen to prepare yet she acted so unprofessionally : Are you ONLY ordering one dish! Well if you’re not ordering in one go then I’m not going to bother hanging around here, I’m better off taking other orders first ..! ‘ and dashed off to another table that had just sat down. When she was asked by her colleagues to assist to take down the rest of the order she was rather impatient and ‘ eye rolling ‘ the whole time giving us her repulsive attitude “ Yep! Yep ! Anything else !! Management should coach her to learn from the rest of her colleagues in treating everyone with courtesy! However , well done to kitchen chefs and the rest of the waitstaff team as food was above average and good service from the rest of the team !

A popular yum cha restaurant in Pacific fair. Opted for ala carte. The braised seafood was delicious.

Very nice settings. Service was top class and the food was brought out in good time. I liked getting a wet wipe before dinner and the tea was delicious. The eggplant was exceptional.

Fantastic Yum Cha and even better service. The staff were super welcoming and so lovely. We felt really appreciated and everything was flawless. Will be back for sure!

Having spent the day in the massive Pacific Fair shopping centre, my boyfriend and I decided to have Yum Cha for lunch amongst all of the other restaurants. Although we didn’t have high expectations as we have delicious yum cha in Sydney to compare to, we were pleasantly surprised.

Service was quick and efficient from the moment we entered. We placed our order of taro balls, fish roe scallops dumplings, chicken feet and beef tribe. Even though everything was slightly too salty for my liking, all dishes besides the beef tribe was enjoyed and very flavoursome. The beef tribe however, was the worst tribe I’ve ever had. It was cooked in a satay flavour but the aftertaste was terrible we both could not finish it. So avoid the tribe if you can!

With that being said, I still think Sydney has the better yum cha but I would recommend for anyone who’s looking for a quick yum cha/Chinese food fix in the Gold Coast!

We had arrived in e evening in Gold Coast on a Sat. We decided to find our dinner venue @ Pacific Fair Shopping Centre nearby.

We decided to give Yum Cha Cuisine among e others. We had ordered seafood crispy noodles, claypot tofu with pork ribs, Pak choy & steamed rice to share among ourselves.

The food was nice but too salty for my liking. The prawns were bland...

Nice ambience with good dim sim. The place is clean with good service and great air-con on a hot day. Wish they bring back their afternoon tea special ($5 all plates between 3pm - 4.30pm)

Been here for lunch whilst shopping. Ordered BBQ duck, Singapore noodles, fried rice, custard tarts. All tasted perfect! Service was prompt. Good ambience.

All stuff are cold, worst yum cha I ever had, not recommend at all, all taste like leftover. Their waitress did not know what in the food, and told us it is red bean, but it is actually nuts, which is not good at all

Dishes are okay with some variety in the menu. However quite overpriced. Staff are not the friendliest. Lack a bit of atmosphere and space especially if turning up in numbers.

Friendly staff and eatable food. However if you are looking for have a nice dim sum, probably is not an awesome choice. Roast chicken ( even BBQ pork or crispy pork) are not really attractive and quality is also under the common yum cha restaurant.

Every time when I drive to Broadbeach along Hooker Blvd, my gaze is caught by this restaurant which is so eye-catching located opposite to the Draula's Comedy Cabaret Restaurant in the new food precinct extension of Pacific Fair. Grab a Groupon deal to have 11 courses banquet on one Saturday night. Walked in and appreciated the grand set-up with high ceiling. It was a busy night, however, service was attentive and hospitable. Chef was clever to adjust the portions of different kinds of Dim Sims so both of us did not feel too much but just good enough for the tasting. Honestly, production was average but I appreciate the vibe, the team work and importantly the chefs have done their best to merge this kind of food culture to the living of Australian. Thumb up!

I like their bright colourful decor..looks very fresh.

Since I got my meal from other places and felt like some fried snack so I had a set of spring rolls. Had to wait around 10 mnts because they freshly fried them. Spring rolls were tasted so so nothing really special but still good for snacking

Family loved this place. Very quick. Dumplings were top quality - prawn dumplings and prawn and duck were a hit. Great spot post a few hours shopping in pacific fair. Better yum cha than you can get in Surfers Paradise.
