The staff were absolutely fantastic! So helpful, friendly, hospitable and welcoming. I'm so glad that my friends and I decided to return to this Tapas Bar, it has a really great atmosphere and such lovely staff. We were also able to enjoy some casual tapas and live music on several nights.

Order an espresso martini -received a watery hours old coffee with no alcohol, for $19 a go not great value go to 7/11 for $1 better quality coffee. They did remake the cocktail quickly .......with attitude and the alcohol we originally ordered.
Stop trying to short change people when charging top prices.
FYI I pay same price at top cocktail bars in Brisbane and Sydney and given high quality cocktail always a happy customer!!!

Wonderful food, some of the best Tapas on the Gold Coast. The entertainment is excellent and always gets a great crowd in.
Breakfast is good, the eggs benne is amazing and for lunch the slides (burgers) are awesome.
Friendly staff but services is a little slow for my liking. But I haven't found great service on the Coast yet.

Please save youself the disappointment and go somewhere else!! So many wonderful places in Broadbeach...this is not one of them. I received THE WORST espresso martini ever which was served in a glass with 1/5 liquid to 4/5 froth. We explained that we were unhappy with the $19 drink and were ignored by staff. A few days later I saw in my statement I was, in fact, charged $29 for the cocktail not the advertised $19. I called and politely advised of the error and asked for it to be corrected. At first they were helpful and assured me they would sort it out however it’s been 3 weeks, numerous phone calls and txts and they are refusing to rectify their error. Extremely disappointed and quite amazed that they think it’s ok to steal off their customers.

$3 to add half a tomato to some bread? Completely over priced. Food and milkshakes are good. Service bit slow and brought out things at different times to my partner. Outside sesting is very nice. Overall not worth the money. Can get the same thing elsewhere for much cheaper.

Friendly staff unfortunately got our order wrong twice. Likely because the musician was overly loud and not very good.
More of a Surfers Paradise nite club feel which is realised when the bouncer starts asking for IDs. Only ordered tapas and Oysters. 5 star oysters but 90% of the tapas were deep fried and not very nice. A waste of 100 bucks, which is a shame because the staff were very helpful.
I wouldn't recommend Onyx.

Priscilla made it so easy to have a good vegan breakfast! She double checked with the chef before customising a personalised meal, which is above and beyond. This girl saved my week! She wouldn't have known the week we've had and just needed a break, the service from Priscilla totally lightened our lives. I am so impressed and will definitely return. Absolutely incredible service!!!!!

Wonderful food and friendly service. We came to onyx for a Hens Party that was pre booked. Easy to organise with staff. The tapas was amazing and so much of it that we couldnt finish! Would highly recommend!!

By far this place has been the best for their service. On Saturday night my partner, friends and I enjoyed delicious tapas and drinks that Onyx had to offer. Their Summer Sangria is a must try, full of delicious fruity flavours and is easy to drink for those who dont like the hard stuff. Their Spicy Meatballs, Baked Brie, Calamari and Chiken Strips will most certainly be on our order list when we return. A big thank you to the security and the 3 lovely waiters who served us on Saturday night we really appreciate your patience, recommendations and outstanding service you guys provided. We had Breakfast there 2 days in a row didn't want anything to heavy so my husband had the pancakes and loved them and both days I had the Sourdough fruit toast with preserves and the best honey I have ever tasted. I also had the iced lemon orange and honey tea it was delicious.

Great food, great staff. The location of this restaurant is front and centre in the middle of Broadbeach so it's easily accessible from all the many hotels close by. But what makes it special is the friendly staff and lovely food. Prices were very reasonable considering the location

We had the salt n pepper calamari, jamon & melon and the pumpkin & feta croquettes which were very tasty but the bruschetta was out of this world, I have no idea what they did with the tomatos but the flavour was amazing, best tapas in years

I would recommend this restaurant. The service was very good. Our waitress, was adorable, very personable and very efficient. Our food was very good, price was fair. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere. There's a large parking block for public as well. Thank you Onyx for a fantastic experience.
