Was on Holiday and we came by this place late in the evening. Though they list that it closes at 8:30pm but the owner was still open past that! Had a great time and the food was good! For a single person on shift really respect how much effort goes into the preparation and service with a smile. Keep at it and we’ll definitely be back!

How very disappointing. Just awful.... overcooked fish, and chips seemed old and rubbery. No salad available with meals even tho it says salad, no tartare sauce. Nothing appetizing about our meals. Why does this place come up on Google under 'best fish & chips in Broadbeach'? We should have responded to our gut feeling (place looks pretty shabby) and moved on. Wish we had read the reviews!

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. After waiting 45 minutes for my order, I asked for a refund on my order. There were people still waiting for their orders, who placed their orders before me, who had been waiting for well over an hour for their orders. When placing my order, I was informed that it was a 40 minute wait on orders; in reality it was more like a 90 minute wait. When I requested a refund, I was provided with a cash refund despite having paid via EFTPOS; and the business did not refund the 15% public holiday surcharge.

Order was taken down incorrectly which the owner (appeared) corrected pretty quickly and he was good about it. Only then to get the order home to find the chip portion very small. The battered sausage was terrible. Then the worst part, potato scallop that my 4yr old son ate. He woke up 3am vomiting. With out too much detail, the were flakes of potato in the bowl. To say the least, not a great experience.

So, ordered seafood basket $28 + delivery.
For $28 I received roughly $3 chips and, 2 prawn cutlets, 2 fish bites (but not really, 3/4 of size what you'd expect) and 2 scollops, which I presume being processed and 1 calamari.
I'd expect to pay probably $14-18 max, unless the quality is exceptional (even so, probably wouldn't), which it wasn't.
I found it to be expensive, for what it was, and would not order again. Better options out there, especially

The worst fish'n'chips I have ever had and I've been eating here for years. He said same owner 9yrs NO WAY!!! Both pieces of flake were so chewy and dry, I gave mine back, the batter terrible and dry. He did another grilled fish for the first order but was so greasy we threw in bin. The chips were brown and lifeless. I asked for a battered hotdog, it was literally a hotdog from a deli battered in some weird coating that didn't stick and it tasted so bad I spat it straight out, definitely not right. Once I found out was supposed to be a dagwood dog I paid another $3.50 but what was served was just as bad as the battered hotdog so I left that too. $38-$40 spent on fish'n'chips as a treat Wed night was an absolute waste and the food disgusting. Add the owner poured and drank a glass of rum on the job making it very well known was really poor, this place needs to be shut down!

The guy that makes the food is really nice and dedicated to his job. The food tastes awesome and is a good price. The place just feels laid back and is really nice compared to everything else around
