Review Toast - Broadbeach

Lovely apartment & great staff! Lovely facilities & view and right on top of everything in broadbeach centre! Carpark is underground and easy access to a from your car to your apartment. Loved the plantation blinds in the apartment and the spaciousness. It was clean and tidy & the only negative was the fact I lost my burgundy bathers! They just disappeared..so if you find them let me know ill pick them up next month! There was a price difference from booking.com to their pricing with our room but it was dealt with swiftly & money returned to my account. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy the food (I recommend Marios & loose moose) The apartment complex is attainable & close to everything including transport and beach

We stayed in room 102 from December 30th to January 2nd, 2021, the stay was very unpleasant. The apartment on the booking.com website and the detailed description of the property refer to it as a “luxury apartment”. Based on the images and description, we confirmed it. Upon check-in, we found the apartment was definitely not luxury. I travel and use booking.com extensively and in all my experience, this was one of the more poorly presented properties. The aged carpet was ripped at the entranceway with batten nails exposed, it was frayed and worn in other areas. The curtains in the master bedroom were torn and filthy. No dresser or luggage stands in master bedroom, the images on booking.com indicated a dressing table and chest of drawers. We kept our luggage on the floor throughout the stay. The walk-in robe clothes hangers looked like they were left behind by previous guests, a poor mix of rusty wire hangers and beat-up plastic ring hangers. Both bathroom floors were filthy with mould and mildew in the tile grouting. The dishwasher was inoperable and when we asked the room service staff for assistance on how to operate it, we had zero response. On check-in day, we sent some of these concerns direct to the mobile number listed and had no response. On December 31st in the a.m, we spoke with a lady at reception and she took our concerns on board and offered to send house-keeping up to address the appliance issues and bathroom cleanliness and also offered to move us on January 1st to another room. On January 1st at mid-day we sent a second follow-up message to the same mobile number with no response again until 3.30pm that day when keys to the alternative room were delivered to the apartment. As it was too late to pack up and move rooms and we were checking out at 9.30am the next day, we declined the alternative room. Given the nightly rate charged and against all issues listed, we can safely say the experience was well below expectation. We emailed the property managers in the hope that some form of compensation was forthcoming in the form of a partial refund and again, zero response to date. We would never return to this property.

We Loved staying at the Victoria Square apartments. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The location is perfect- right in the heart of Broadbeach cafes and very close to the beach. The new pool looked great but a little too cold to swim. Will definitely return to these Wonderful apartments

Location is fantastic. Room was very outdated. Lino in the kitchen was very very old, you could smell it! I had to hold my breath in the kitchen as the smell was very off putting. Internet was laughable. Had to pay $49.95 for 2 days WiFi that only got 2 bars in the lounge Room. Upon departure, I stripped the sheets from beds to find the most disgusting mattress protectors that looked like they had not been changed for months.

Had a very disappointing stay with a multitude of problems over just two nights. In the main bathroom, the shower head was missing. It was replaced but we were not made aware, nor did we give them permission to enter. Our kids were locked out and we were unable to access the garage with a faulty key fob. It also is quite a tight car park so I'd suggest parking elsewhere if you have a large 4x4 or wide car. The apartment is extremely outdated, and could do with a major renovation. Along with the age, the TV would take around 10 minutes to get going. The management are quite slack, there was a car in our car park, they said they would leave a note, this did not happen. Although this is not there fault, try and get an ocean view room, we starred right in to the building next door. The only positive is a great location in the centre of The Oasis.

Pool is now open! We enjoyed a fantastic, modern 3 bed apartment with amazing views. The location simply can't be beat with Woolies and a range of quality cafe's and restaurants literally at your door. Patrolled beach is across the road with a large, fully fenced playground filled with lots of play stations (perfect for young children). Casino is also a short walk away. We will be staying here again, highly recommend!

Great location, helpful manager (Jim and Staff). We had a lovely 162 apartment, which met all our needs with 2 TV's, bath, well equipped Kitchen and nice views. Good TV channels. We looked after place well for those following. The 4th floor spa was pleasant( just a little cool) and the Gym while very small was functional. Cooked a barbecue on this level. We will be back

Having stayed at Victoria Square Apartments on and off over the last 12 years I can , without a doubt, say that it never disappoints. The rooms are very Spacious ,the layout very comfortable, there's plenty of room, the Views are Superb and so handy to everything. In my view it is the only place to stay when visiting the Gold Coast.
