I regret not looking up in google review. Right from the start service was not the best. The guy staff was nice and friendly where as the lady just too all over the places and not friendly at all. Ordered spaghetti and for the very first time it was just horrible. The spaghetti bolognese says steake meat cooked extra time but seriously how bad a spaghetti can be? When it arrived at the table it looked like vomit and the worst part was, it tasted like it looked. My partner without complaint went on with his meal and I was just concerned if he will get sick after eating it! The spaghetti that I order wasn’t too bad beside the over cooked noodle which looked as it they had cooked over night and the not so good looking presentation. We also had drink to start with, where they just served us with a filthy glass. In all honesty would never go back and recommend to anyone. Review will be updated if we end up with food poisoning…

Truly a family restaurant. Please be patient with the staff, they are doing their best as they are understaffed. Despite being under the pump, they were still extremely hospitable and the food was amazing. One of the best woodfire pizza & gnocchi I’ve had. Would definitely come back again and recommended for patrons with patience.

I don't usually leave reviews for places I go but when I saw the 2.5 stars this place had, I had to write something. For the life of me, I can't see any problems with our experience here. The food was great, the staff were polite and attentive, the atmosphere was fantastic. I had already sat down and ordered when I saw the reviews and was a little nervous about the quality of service we'd be getting. Safe to say they far exceeded our expectations! I'll be sure to come back next time I'm in QLD!

My experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Broadbeach has such a friendly vibe and everyone is so pleasant and helpful. But I was treated appallingly by the Italian waiter with the hair bun on Friday 20/5/22 at lunchtime. I asked the waiter for parmesan cheese to put on my pasta dish and due to this he was very annoyed and became very aggressive and smothered my pasta dish with the cheese. I had to ask him to stop applying the cheese. The restaurant was not that busy and usually when I go to any restaurant I usually tip and rarely do I get bad service . When one goes to a restaurant it not just the food but the service that makes a good restaurant. I would strongly advise anyone not to go to this restaurant if you are looking for a pleasant enjoyable experience this is definitely not the place to go.

I was seated quickly but noticed that the table was sticky, it wasn't dirty just sticky like the table needed refinishing. I mentioned it to the staff but nothing happened. A glass was put on the table but alas throughout the entire meal no table water was supplied to fill said glass. The meal was served quickly and was substantial enough to be filling and for the most part quite enjoyable, the calamari was correctly cooked, however I started encountering the dreaded uneatable stringy bits that were not removed before crumbing in the last half of the meal. That is what lost them 1 star. The staff were friendly enough though, albeit forgetful.

Decided to go to this restaurant on a whim at 9:00 pm. The restaurant was practically empty only 3 tables of about 4-5 people. Me and my friend were seated and then ignored for 15 mins until we could order. Our cocktails had barely any alcohol and tasted solely of orange juice. We ordered the bruschetta for appetiser and then 20 mins after we ordered the waitress told us that they ran out of bruschetta.?? So we ordered the garlic cheese pizza which has mountains of glugy fake mozzarella cheese and very oily. We then waited another 40 mins for our mains after attempting several times to get the servers attention. My prawn spaghetti was nice expect for the fact that the prawns were raw.. my friends gnocchi was also raw and glugy. We basically paid $100 for uncooked food served with a side of practically juice .. AND on a plastic plate. When we went to pay, we waited a while to finally get someone’s attention. I told the man of our experience and our raw food and said that we didn’t even bother to send it back as we had already waited so long. He literally said nothing at all for a couple of minutes while he processed a discount, almost like this is a common thing, then after giving us the new amount on the recipt apologised and said “sorry we are understaffed” I appreciate the discount and he did apologise but I would not recommend going here as me and my friend had to go home as we literally feel physically ill from eating the food that we can’t go out and continue our plans for our Saturday night ://

I don’t normally write reviews unless something is really good, or really bad… it wasn’t really good. The only saving Grace was the lone sever, who tried her best to combat the other waitstaff (not sure what their actual jobs were because they didn’t do anything). Food was below average, my partner could make better Gnocci with a jar of Dolmio, and he’s a terrible cook on his best day. Do. Not. Recommend.

What a pathetic pathetic pathetic place. I wish there was an option of no star. The rudest owner (her name was probably Muriel). She seriously needs to learn some etiquettes to speak. Disorganised place. Had to wait for 33 minutes for someone to even come to take the order after we had indicated we were ready to place it . When finally someone came to attend to us, this lady came interrupting, snapping her fingers, speaking in the rudest, aggressive and loudest voice that we had to wait more because they were short staffed or we could leave. We left obviously so can’t speak for the food but it was apparent they didn’t care. Never had a worse experience in a restaurant than this! No wonder they had quite a few empty tables and were taking walk ins on a Saturday night when none of the near by restaurants had any table available! Save yourself the grief….DO NOT DO NOT go there! I seriously doubt the authenticity of the few positive reviews!

Food was delicious! And very reasonably priced. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Amazing customer service. 10/10 would go back, had a lovely night!

Fantastic friendly staff and food was very nice. We were a large group ordering a variety of dishes, all came out together and well presented. From pizza to eye fillet steak and seafood pasta all the dishes were delicious, thanks for a great night guys!!

AVOID! The worst service and experience I've had to the point I've gone out of my way to write a review which I never do. Not only was it difficult to place an order, we had to ask for the menu multiple times. Then don't mention trying to order drinks or asking for table water which we had to ask for several times. The staff member taking the order was so incompetent trying to do it from one end of the table for a group of 10 people. We told her multiple times to go to the other end and take peoples orders to they can hear. Then she reads the order out to one person to clarify the order. We asked for garlic bread for the entire table and she would keep asking us for how many, we don't know the serve size just enough for the table, this was a challenging request. One guest ordered the Salmon and it was full of bones so he stopped eating it. The manager came over and instead of apologising abused the member of our party and made a scene. Simple requests from the staff was so hard, one person taking food orders, another drinks only, another serving food and who knows what so when serving they don't even know who ordered what. At the end when paying we tried to give some feedback on our experience and she was rude and did not want to hear a word. This bad service must be a common issue here. Will never go back to this terrible restaurant.

When me and my friends got there , the restaurant not busy. We had to wait 10 minutes just to get a table. We had to get someone's attention just to order. After we ordered we had to wait 1 hour just to get our food. The bill was way to expensive. Don't go there!!

After our starters we cancelled our mains....$15.90 for 8 calamari rings. Overpriced and not worth crossing the road for. We definitely won't be back

Average. Food was expensive for the quality received and staff seemed disorganised in their service with several staff asking for our order.

We went for pizza. Food was average, ambiance unimpressive and prices high for what we got. Be warned...they slapped on an extra $4.00 to the bill because we shared the pizza!!!! Won't be going back.

They restaurant was disappointing! Their pizza is expensive and then they charged us a sharing surcharge. They will not be getting our return patronage.

Service offered at this venue is extremely unimpressive. Manager was very rude and abrupt, we were told when first offered by manager to take our order "wait we are too busy". He was offended when we asked for water even though one of our party was a pregnant person. Obviously understaffed, poor wait service and waitresses hard to understand. We waited 40mins for food. Food was ok, but could be bought from Fasta Pasta. Try the other Italian restaurant around the corner on Albert st.

Worst dining experience at the Gold Coast. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for such atrocious food and service. The food took over half an hour to arrive. We were told that they forgot to put our pizza order in and were obviously making it in a hurry. The vegetarian pizza eventually arrived but was bland and flavourless and contained two vegetables as toppings. The tomato sauce on the pizza tasted uncooked. Upon asking the waitress for some herbs, she proceeded to make a strange face because she probably didn't understand the request but didn't bother to follow up. The creamy penne chicken pasta tasted like pasta with chicken pieces in boiled milk. Again, no flavour or salt. A poor excuse for Italian food. <br/><br/>For all the enthusiasm displayed by the manager when we asked for a table initially, his response to our answer when asked, "how was everything tonight?", was shocking. We mentioned that our experience wasn't good and that we didn't enjoy the food. He went on to the cite that they were very busy that night while simultaneously shrugging his shoulders and imparting a very clear air of indifference. While swiping our credit card and charging what was too much money for an extremely disappointing meal, he also muttered to himself; Something to the tune of, "over here, we don't give a s**t". We were appalled and speechless at the bad hospitality and non-caring attitude of the restaurant and its staff. <br/><br/>Unfortunately we chose to read reviews during our meal, when it was too late. Don't waste your money and ruin a perfectly good night out by eating here.

I would usually not complain but this place is absolutely terrible, and I wouldn't want any other families getting ripped off.<br/>The food was terrible no care or quality put in the meals, pizza was like cardboard and terrible toppings.<br/> <br/>The service was beyond a joke not having salt or pepper offered when food was delivered , drinks taking so long to arrive and had to be reminded several times. There's a reason why the place is empty. Do not eat here! Food was terrible, I could make better at home for less money. Wish we had read the reviews before stepping in.

Better pizza at the super market. Usually run with a simple rule... Nothing goes back to the kitchen... but tonight would have paid them to take it away only thing is I was robbed $25.90 for a pizza so I had no money left.<br/>And FYI la Roma cardboard does not equal pizza base.

Save your money and go to Fasta Pasta. This restaurant is shocking! <br/>- waited over an hour for mains<br/>- one of our meals were never given to us<br/>- horrible service, asked for a water and the waiter replied with "WHAT"<br/>- the worst part of our night though was our interaction with the manager/owner. He was rude, abrupt and plain disrespectful. He shouted at us when we asked about the missing meal. We said we were not happy and he said he "didn't care his restaurant is full"<br/><br/>Please find somewhere else to go :)

Worst Italian restaurant on the GC!!!. Just dined here. Worst food I've ever tasted. Garlic bread is the same quality as a takeaway pizza store. $6 for a small glass of soft drink loaded with ice. The food was very bland and looked like it was just dumped on he plate. the waitstaff, clueless and didn't seem to care that we were very unimpressed with our meals. Very expensive for what you get. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Worst restaurant. Its a pity we didnt read the reviews before we ordered.<br/>Took 15 minutes to be served, another hour for the food, which they stuffed up by assuming 3 people would eat 1 main meal. Then had to wait over half an hour again for the other 2 meals<br/>And we never recieved the table water we asked for.<br/>Rude staff, who brushed us off at every opportunity<br/>Definately dont eat here!

Service the worst. Food will need to be spectacular! Had to ask for wine glasses, water (sat here half an hour) 5 times for menus then told we couldn't order until the small tables had- we had booked a large party with 24 hours notice. 14% for a reason!!

Horrible!! Do NOT eat here!!!!!!. - terrible terrible service<br/>- after asking several times for water we finally had our glasses filled but never refilled again<br/>- pasta was shocking!!!! $18 for a spag Bol that I'm pretty sure came out of a can...all I could taste was salt salt and salt and then had no water to wash it down with due to our glasses not being refilled with water!<br/>- ordered garlic bread that never came when we asked the ?manager he said it was due to staff not speaking English very well even though our waitress asked if we would like the garlic bread before or with meal.<br/>- they seriously need to lift their game as it is a disgrace that they are making money from such shocking food and service!!

Wish I read the other reviews !!. Had the misfortune of going to this restaurant last night. Service was slow (was busy but not packed), couldn't even get a bottle of water for the table despite asking three times. We ordered garlic bread for the table for starter and then three mains. after 45 minutes, asked the waitress where our bread was, and were told that it would come out with the mains, as we didn't ask for it to come out first ?? The mains came out and then a few minutes later our garlic bread came out, which we promptly told them we wouldn't be eating and they could take it away. (One piece of bread by the way for $5.90. don't know how to split that three ways). They pretty much argued it was our fault for not telling them we wanted it to come out first. So when I went to pay the bill, I told who I assume was the owner, I wasn't paying for the bread, and he rudely asked why I didn't send it back..aaaaggghhh. In the end, $115 (didn't pay for the bread) for three very, very average dishes (Pasta, crumbed chicken with overcooked vegetables and undercooked calzone), two glasses of wine and a soft drink... and still no water.

Gas-fired pizza is gross. Went here, ordered pizza for the kids, ordered a beer. went to look at the "wood fired" pizza oven with the kids. Lots of wood stacked around the oven. Had a look inside the oven and saw a gas flame. Asked them if it's wood-fired, they said it's gas and wood. Yeah right. No wood was visible inside, have stacks of wood on the outside doesn't count as wood-fired to me. Apart from that Pizza was not very nice.

Chose to eat at this restaurant because of the woodfired pizza signs they have at the front. Once we ordered I checked with waiter if all the pizzas were woodfired. He explained that there's a problem with the installation of the oven so it won't be up and running for at least another two weeks. We decided to stay and eat but wished we didn't. The pizzas were bland and the service was terrible. Soft drinks were $6 a glass so decided to have water which we had to ask twice for. Never again !!

Absolutely shocking. Could not get worse if they tried. My dog could do better. No flavor no seasoning!! Four slices of salami on an entire pizza. We complained no apologies. I instead the waitress said "what do you want me to say!!" They charged us full price after all of us returned the food and complained. Buy a frozen one from Aldi. Ten thousand times better Just don't eat there

Entirely underwhelming, spaghetti bolognaise very poor, steak medium came out well done and tough, no seasoning, overpriced salad with lamb, ingredients sub par and meat tough again . Staff ok not very attentive at least they smiled once. Judging by the 'cara de culo' old man floating about , I think the owner I'm surprised they managed one smile. That said they still messed up the order ordered two pastas got three, ordered chips never arrived. Give this place a really wide berth, do ur wallet and palate a favour so not eat here

DISGUSTING!! The meals were pure salt, the waitresses were rude - when we got our meals she dumped them on the table and left before we could ask for pepper! We asked for water and a diet coke originally, the smallest $6 glass of diet coke came out and after 20 minutes of waiting we had to ask again for a glass of water! Meals took forever to come out! and when they did, they were just disgusting (carbonara was a blob of salt and pepper and veal was gross) ! From a local who thought the semi busy restaurant would be nice ... Do not make the same mistake!

DONT EAT HERE. We asked for a (mafioso)grilled prawn pasta,kids bolognese pasta as well as a calamari and vongole pasta.<br/>First issue was that the meal was served after 5 minutes of ordering, the prawns were not grilled, the vongole was canned with no shells. The food was tasteless with no salt and the sauces of all 3 dishes were the same, when the prawn pasta<br/>When we told the waitress that the prawns weren't grilled and all the dishes were tasteless , the manager/owner refused to come and see us. He clearly has an attitude reading other comments.<br/>We paid $82.00 for a meal that my 5 year old could make.<br/>Don't eat here.

Service was very quick, very sexy waitresses. Food came out in under 10 minutes. <br/>Little bit of a pricey menu. <br/>But the food was amazing.

Have never had such a bad expensive breakfast ANYWHERE!! $75 for a tasteless breakfast. Also watch that they don't overcharge you if you are brave enough to eat there!!

Not a bad meal at all. After reading reviews while waiting for our meals- I was really worried. However the pasta dishes were lovely. The staff need some basic hospitality training, but overall it was a good experience.

Worst restaurant on Gold Coast. Worst restaraunt meal I have had in a long time, very salty, sure the sauce must have come out of a can and heated in a microwave it was so hot. Spaghetti over cooked, no water on the table despite there being water glasses and trust me, you will need water to deal with the salt! Actually quite inedible and left most of it. Please do not bother eating here, waste of money.

$10 big breakfast was pretty good for value. More mushrooms then eggs but that was good for me since I like mushrooms!

Wow, I didn't check before I came here and was perusing the reviews with a sinking heart while waiting for my meal. I had veal scallopini del mare which was creamy and lovely, only one complaint and its a small one the prawns could have been fresher, and larger for the price, service was friendly, food very prompt and a chianti Classico Devine! The antipasto was huge and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Worst restaurant on the Gold Coast, nope! Go to the Aztec and then say that...

Terrible Service. We went into this place as the board looked good and had lots of seafood options. We both ordered a soft drink initially while we worked out what we were going to order. The drinks came out and my was gone in two mouthfuls it was that full of Ice (over three quarters of the cup) my partners was the same. When I spoke to the waiter about this they said that how they do it there and if we did not want ice we should have said so. I had the same response from the another waiter he then tried to push me on to order food. We decide to end the experience there. I gave the waiter $5 for drinks apparently they were $8 he followed us on to the street yelling at us that we could do that.. So I went in told the manager that was all I was paying and left disgusted. There are many lovely restaurants in Broadbeach with great reviews who provide you with good food, good service and good value.

Don't eat here!. Oh no, should have read the reviews first. Awful food, not cooked properly. Pretty much told by wait staff and manager that they didn't care when we complained about my meal not being edible. Worst restaurant service I have ever received.

Nasty nasty place. Gave this place a chance one evening after a day at the beach. Never again, stodgy pasta and a cardboard pizza along with inattentive staff. Took an age to get our bill, needless to say we were elsewhere for dessert. <br/>We were almost tempted on the way out to warn people not to dine here. Shameful how such a poot restaurant can be in such a high profile location.

Worst restaurant EVER!. I have NEVER in my life been to a restaurant where the owner/manager tells you to F*** Off because you have said (politely!) that the fish was OFF! I had the $30 Barramundi which was stale and dried up and when I told the nice young waiter he returned with the fish saying that there was nothing wrong with it as other people had eaten it that night and not complained. When I said that I didn't want it and could I speak to the manager the rudest man we have ever met came over yelling at us (we didn't and counldn't get a word in) saying that we knew nothing about food because he had paid $50 per kilo that for the fish that day and we will eat it! When he started shoving my husband - we got up, paid for our pizza bread that we had already eaten (which incidentally tasted similar to cardboard) and our wine and left while he was still yelling. It was almost comical - l ike someone was putting us up to a prank. Everyone in the restaurant was staring at us - I was in shock that a restaurant manager/owner could be so openly rude and threatening to his customers.<br/><br/>This restaurant must purely rely on tourists because I cannot imagine any local returning. THe food was BAD, overpriced and I feel sorry for his employees! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Just been with 6 friends to what I would say is the worst restaurant on the Gold Coast. The minestrone soup was like dishwater, tastless and weak. The lasagne was stodgy and lukewarm. Had better frozen ones. When we approached the owner he was the rudest person we had ever met. My husband is a chef and we have had 2 restaurants in Germany and the UK and were astonished how this arrogant so called chef conducted himself in this situation. Do not eat here. You have been warned. We were not the only ones complaining as well!

Worst pizza. Just had a very undercooked pizza with terrible toppings served by backpackers that don't have a clue.....wish we had read the other reviews first....when I spoke to the owner and his wife about several of the components being wrong there was a don't care attitude...please don't waste your hard earned $$'s at this terrible excuse for a restaurant.

Worst restaurant on the gold coast and that is saying alot, everything about it is a joke, have heard horror stories from friends after i had been there, wish i heard them earlier. dont go unless they pay you and even then take your own food, you should be able to find something better in the gutter

Got the lasagne, tasted worse than a frozen one, the table next to us just as bad. If you like Italian food you are better off making it yourself.

Just had two pizzas Christmas eve tasted like cardboard sent one back owner told me he had been making them for 40 years. Walked off and charged me full price now I know what the worst pizza ever tasted like.. Please do not go there.
