Loved this place;) we had a bowl of fries, avo stack and salmon sandwich. Was yummy. The service is great. Wine list is average- which is why it lost its 1 point.
What a great beach brunch spot to grab a quick healthy bite with my fave girl friend. I had the most delicious home made granola with fresh Greek yoghurt, honey and berry compote. Great cappuccino! She had some tasty eggs Benedict! Friendly service good vibe. Even your pets are welcome 😊 best of all is the view of stunning Aussie coastline.
Being prior to a dip at our favourite beach, there was a slight urgency to to take on sustenance. But had to pass several other cafes to find the required outdoor with a view table. Which landed us at Ex lounge.
I had your basic porridge. Sash had the mushroom omelette. Both satisfactory. Coffee arrived as a duplicate of my large latte, but we took it rather than see it go back and wasted. Coffee OK.
Good service and nice location. Worth a visit.
Bronte Beach’s Exlounge! Sorry for the hiatus, life just got too busy and blogging had to take the back seat. The Exlounge is one of my favourite cafes, and Bronte Beach is my favourite beach. It’s smaller and less well known than Bondi or Manly. The waves are nice for surfing and if you want to swim, there is a nice rockpool :) It’s very nice for night swimming too! Wonderful Experience!. Fabulous food, smooth and quick service, reasonable prices and sweeping views of Bronte, what else can you asked? Had a wonderful lunch at the Ex Lounge Bronte Cafe with my 2 sons and I would consider this cafe a gem. The service was impeccable with the young lady explaining what the specials are. She knew what she was talking about and I appreciate that. I have gone to more than a few restaurants in the area and most of them, when asked about the menu can barely say anything about them. But not this cafe. I was happy to leave a good tip as the young lady deserved it, I will be going back tomorrow, the following day and in the future. Very happy to recommend.
Best value cafe on the flashy bronte strip. Haloumi stack is delicious if you're hungry, smoked salmon bruschetta is another winner!

We recently started going here for breakfast. Besides being a nice location, we are really loving the reasonable prices and great food.

Magnifique!. We stumbled across the charismatic Marcel and his team at Ex when we arrived in the East from Brisbane ( originally from Scotland), we started with coffee and home made berry muffins, later sampling breakfast, have now had numerous lunches, and shared wonderful intimate and family dinners. We love the ambience, service and cosy feel of the evening dining. Our kids love the fresh juices. Marcel employs lots of wonderful French chefs and waiting staff who are keen to share their language with the children. This evening, again we have dined with the children........ Tonight I had a Kir Royale aperitif...... Perfect! The dessert tonight was real French profiteroles........ Melt in your mouth! I urge you to try the Ex Lounge, for breakfast, lunch or an intimate dinner...... You won't be disappointed.
Ex bronte lounge. I had a fabulous meal there tge other night . Great service good wine I was in clover everything was great . It's not the first time I ve been there in fact I go there pretty often as I know I'm going to get a scrumptious brunch I Dore their poached eggs with asparagus just tender and crunchy enough to be called delectable . I very often try the scallop risotto for the same reason as the chef knows how too not overcook the scallops and he gets the risotto perfectly to my liking great coffees and now great cocktails as well plus friendly staff professional everything arrived well presented and great quality/ price ! We had a delightful sat. Night early dinner good wines as well no complaints 9/10 for a meal and fir my regular brunches I do with a group if friends we always chose there as we know its quality we like

Where do I start... My girlfriend and I purchased a voucher on living social and didn't really know what to expect..! We booked for tonight and when we turned up, were greeted by a lovely hostess... With the voucher we recieved a antipasti platter for 2, which consisted of 4 succulent prawns, rocket infused with hazelnut and a beautiful dressing, bree and beautifully seasoned baked patato..! Needless to say the entire entree was cooked to perfection...Then for mains we order the seafood platter and thd fish of the day, which was snapper... The hostess notified us that there was no octopus but instead there would be scallops. I didn't mind, I love scallops... Thd mains came out and tasted amazing, we honestly could not fault them at all. So that was the end of the voucher but we decided since thd food tasted that good we fouls try a dessert... We both ordered and shared the chocolate fondue... WOW... We haven't tasted a better fondue anywhere..! Anyway, needless to say we'll Definetly be going back and we'll be telling our friends that The Exlounge is a perfect place for a quiet romantic dinner..! Great job and keep up the good work..! :-)

Delicious, perfectly cooked, stunning !. What more can I say. I had a couple of friends fly in the other night and decided to take them down to the exlounge at bronte, we shared a selection of lamb and pork koftethes , seafood plate with grilled ocky, giant chilli prawns grilled salmon, a plate of whiting etc a plate of scallops on choritzo , the most perfectly tender steak, mixed roast beetroot zucchini and cherrry tomatoes with warmed chilli olives it just kept coming all served with a beautiful garnish of salad with slightly roasted nuts and the lightest of dressings, the fresh asparagus was to die for ! we had a glass of bubbles, four or five glasses of wine and four beers between us and finished off sharing two chocolate fondants which just ooozzed with excellence and it came to under $45 each ($50 with a well deserved tip) amazing food unbelievable value... The next night another friend dropped in to stay on his way through from tweed so we went back to see if it would be as good two nights running and we were not disapointed, grilled salmon on parmesan polenta , sharing the lamp with mint and the chicken kebabs and couldnt go past that succulent steak again ... of course the mango and lime brulee just finished us off a treat .. highly recommended ,
Tasty breakfast after a long walk. Was a little slow but wait well worth it. Highly recommended.
Had a pretty good brunch experience here. The few drinks our table ordered and the meals arrived quite quickly. Everyone was pretty satisfied with the food. I enjoyed the pancakes. Only issue was that one meal we ordered never came and we had to ask for it.
Great brunch place and excellent friendly service! The coffee is great, food as well. Good vibes and close enough from the beach to see when it's pumping. Marcel and is team are doing it right!
Will have to try the live band evening.

Love the food and friendly atmosphere. I've been eating here for nearly 10 years (before it moved from the spot next door). Marcel is very friendly and always makes sure staff are providing a great service. The food is fantastic with a great range of options, this is one beach cafe that definitely isn't just relying on the location!
