It’s not everywhere you could walk in and feel at home immediately. And while at it, have food that feels like home food. I don’t know if I like Husna more or their super addictive vegan street chai. Both are as warm as ‘homely’ could get. Love the vibe of the place and the food definitely looks like a lot of thought has been put into it. Thanks, and good luck �
Great coffee, cool culture and awesome food selection. As someone who isn't completely vegetarian, I have a lot of respect for a place that does good Vege/Vegan food.
My family loved the Moroccan deli. We had a meal at (the new) Alisha’s Cafe Collective today. It was fantastic, I mean hugely impressive. The menu is similar (to the previous superb food), but enhanced. The plates are fabulous, and also vegan friendly should you desire. Coffee & Chai top notch. I have only praise for this new eatery, and hope followers of the old place, and many new eaters, get on board and support Alisha’s.

I just had the middle of the east plate..best thing I've eaten since who knows when..beautiful fragrant flavours and spices, many familiar some not, all superb. I didn't want it to end!
AMAZING Middle Eastern fare (plus a few fusion dishes) in the space that used to house Moroccan Delicacy. I ordered the Middle of the East Plate which featured a variety of different items including a lentil/rice mixture, sauteed peppers, three different dips, veg fried in chickpea flour, and Mauritian chilli poppers (kind of like a falafel but breadier). I almost added haloumi but glad I didn't because this was already an abundance of food. I like the fact that it lets you sample a bit of everything - I think the salty and slightly sour fried veg as well as the green sauce on the far left (not sure what it was) were my favourite. The pita was a bit too crispy for my liking, but not a deal-breaker. And soy coffee wasn't the best prepared that I've had, but nice and strong and goes well with the food. Eager to visit this spot again.
Now Alisha's Cafe Collective definitely deserves time spared for a review.
Despite it being a full house Saturday arvo, we were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival.
Shortly after, the beautiful owner Husna popped by to check in on us.
May i add, Husna is a genuinely passionate lady whom made our dinning experience so enjoyable and most certainly worth returning (The uttermost best customer service I have ever received to date).
Beyond all the positive vibes and homely feel, our drinks & meals were perfection!
We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the amazing Shakshouka Sensation & East Of The Middle Plate, topped off by the famous Carrot Cake (which Husna ensured I got a slice of, as it was not on display).
I highly recommend a visit to Alisha's Cafe Collective, and personally thank the whole team for their amazing efforts =)
Another good middle eastern restaurant that doesn’t disappoint. This is more of a fusion restaurant though. We had middle of the east plate and hommusapien. Hummus had a very distinct flavour and we loved it and also took a carry home box of hommus for 6$. Chai was super delicious. The only thing I would have loved to see is less of fritters and more of veggies. The owner Husna is super friendly and makes you feel at home with the conversations. Will definitely go back again
I can't wait to come back to this place - the food is INCREDIBLE. I had the middle east plate with mushroom ragu as an addition and it was insane. The dips are the best I've ever tried, esp. with the baked pita. The service is lovely, warm & welcoming. I also tried the stuffed eggplant which was the best I've ever had
