The nicest service, and the most scrumptious burger creations. They have simple burgers, but they really shine on their clever creative burgers - and they're all so cheap!
The milkshakes are to Die for! They're all simple and exactly what you would like from a true blue milkshake - thick with ice cream, and absolutely delicious. The spiked shakes also balance alcohol with the other flavours very well.
As a bonus, they also have a cute board game collection if anyone wants to chill with friends, or vs. the owner at Battleships. I still owe him a game.
Ordered through Uber Eats. The sweet potato fries were delicious and really good portion size. The burger was good but didn't taste in any way more extraordinary than the many other burgers of Melbourne.

These guys fly under the radar due their lack of social media presence. The burger itself was really nice however the shop wasn’t the cleanest. Easily fixed
Friendly staff and nice decor. We ordered a 3057 and a PFC. 3057 had nice chunky beef patties and fresh veggies. Tasted great. PFC also had generous serves and tasted fresh. We'll be coming back and recommending this place to others for sure.
Was put off coming here by some bad reviews, particularly Good Eats review. Was getting rained on walking home from Great Northern so though I’d give it a go. Happy to report I thought the burgers were bloody good. Had the basic b with bacon and the Gaby with bacon. Will make its way onto my rotation. Place was busy too so i would say it performs above the 3.0 reviews
We ordered off uber eats last night, we ordered two of the basic b and some fries.
Both burgers were delicious, patties were thick, bread was a brioche but not overly sweet which was nice.
We will definitely be ordering from here again.
Only complaint the ranch sauce with the fries was a little bland.
The burgers yummy and have order from twice, never disappointed. My sister doesn't like pickles but loves their pickles. Will order from here again and recommended highly
Im really surprised at how low this place is rating. I have had the Basic B three or so times and really enjoyed it. Ive always got it at like 2am through delivery and it's always supet tasty. Nice!

Best burger Iv had in a long time. Juicy and full of flavour ! Genuine down to earth service who I think was the owner. He stayed opened for us when we came in after closing time. Also made us a free burger from the left over produce!

Let's be clear - this is a burger joint, so you come here for burgers first! And boy these burgers are great!!
First off the patties - deliciously cooked, perfect thickness and didn’t crumble under the pressure of my power eating. Not usually a fan of brioche buns I was pleasantly surprised, not too sweet and toasted beautifully so they could cope with the sauces and juices without going soggy. The two foundations of a burger are spot on here.
I had the Say Cheese with bacon and egg added – I’m a simple man! The mix of ketchup and mustard was spot on and the egg yolk popped in the first bite, flooding the burger with deliciousness. My wife had the Basic B – she didn’t say much during the eating but still talks about the pickle (lucky considering the name of the joint).
As for sides we had fries, mac and cheese croquette and onion rings (we didn’t order these and they didn’t charge us for them). Tip: get the mac and cheese croquette in the burger, it’s more like a mac and cheese patty and it is delicious. The fries could have done with a bit more salt, but given the list of loaded fries options I can see why plain fires is plain fries – definitely going loaded next time. As for the onion rings – I would never order them as I’ve never been tempted to, but I will next time I come. The rings were crispy and tasty and would go great in a burger too.
We had a chocolate shake with our burgers and I got a vanilla with coconut ice cream take away after. Both great – nice and thick with plenty of flavour!
The venue is perfect for a burger joint – has the feels of an old take away joint. The smell of burgers cooking hits you in the face and you can hear and see the burgers being fried up in the kitchen. Nice big share table with a few smaller tables down the side – it’s no frills but we’re talking burgers not fine dining.
Best burgers in town, fantastic will be back for sure.

Really delicious burgers and the loaded bacon and sour cream fries are great. I took my dad here for a quick bite after work and he loved it. The burger meat was juicy and the buns were melt in your mouth brioche. The guy serving me was friendly and easily accommodated our modifications.

Last night was the first time to Pickle and although we had a bad run last night we are still eager to return for a second go. Here's why..
My partner is obsessed with all things Dim Sim, so naturally the Bruce Lee was sort after. My style is all about the classic burger; Say Cheese with a double patty, no ketchup with a lettuce wrap (because #keto). This was accompanied with a side of Mac & Cheese and Loaded Fries.
The order was taken promptly and the food was received just as fast. Before leaving we purchased a Coke Zero to go however we were puzzled why the girl opened the can.. ?
Anyway, while unpacking and ravished to dig in we noticed that we had the wrong order. Three attempts at calling the shop however no response. Hungry and annoyed, we contemplating on driving back to get a refund. However we persevered on giving it a go..
Back to the shop with the correct order in hand we got home to unpack to soon realise that the Bruce Lee burger was no where to be found but received the PFC instead. The chiceken was not crispy as you would expect! My partner was quite disappointed but continued on to the Mac and Cheese. Now the mac and cheese does not look like your typical serving. It actually looked like a patty made of macaroni noodles in a cheese pickle patty, nevertheless he quite enjoyed it. The loaded fries on the other hand looked and tasted quite depressing, the chips were soggy, lacked flavour and crunch.
My version of the Say Cheese upon first smell reminded me of Macdonald's. The patties were juicy, pink in the middle, good sear the outside which I felt was perfectly cooked and surprisingly not soggy with the lettuce wrap. Old English Cheese and the generous addition of pickles and mustard sauce made this burger tasting succulent and craving more.
The pickles (as the name suggests) is the xfactor in the burgers.
The flavour and patty quality certainly kicks the B.east out of the water if you're looking to compare burgers in the area.
Went for lazy Sunday dinner last night and was impressed. Really tasty meat patty, generous fillings and fresh tasty flavour. Staff were friendly. Like the look of place. It's close to home and easy. I just had the Basic B their standard burger for $9. Next time I'll give the Heatwave a go.

The burgers are delicious, and the fries are too. This places is good value for money, nice simple menu. The staff are friendly. Right next to the bike track so maybe you can ride the calories off after! Came for the burgers, stayed for the toilet decor.
Get a decent burger very late into the night at Pickle. Also has a lovely vegetarian burger for your plant based friends. Saved me from a potentially regretful maccas run, recommended.

The owner says he prefers his chips a little over done but I think the average person like a golden chip. I probably would just ask him to cook lighter the next time I come in. He is super accommodating.
Totally surprised by this place , it's such a quality burger! Bun slightly sweet and toasted , cheese everywhere and melted , meat juicy salty and cooked perfectly. This is also the second time going which is rare
Fantastic burgers, and great, friendly service by the owner! We enjoyed playing board games while waiting for our food, which wasn't long away with such prompt service. Great quality, reasonably priced food. We highly recommend- we travelled out of our way just to come here again! :)
This is the best quality burger and chips around, although it is priced as such for most things. The only problem I find with the place is that it’s never open at lunch time, which is when I want a burger and chips. Hell, I’d come earlier if I’d had a big night prior.
Awesome place to hang out with friends. They have board games and a big table for the 8 of us to sit around and spent the whole Sunday afternoon chilling at this place. Environment was really fantastic. Cozy and friendly staffs, especially the uncle who made my burger!
I ordered 3057, apparently that’s the most famous one in the shop and I was amused by it. Doubled beef patties and doubled cheeses, not to mention the Mac and cheese was the bomb. Will definitely come again for such great burger.
