Review Abruzzo Club - Brunswick

LOCATION The location was nice. FOOD The pizza Margherita was good but no the ravioli ( they were the special dish ). I found a piece of plastic in my mouth while I was eating the tiramisù. They gave me another one but it was tasteless and very different from the first one and from my friends’ tiramisù. Probably it was made a “few days ago”. I didn’t appreciate it. SERVICE The girl was very nice , the man not really! He changed my tiramisù but, even if there was a peace of plastic, he included it in the bill. Customer service to be a revised. I don’t recommend this place and I won’t go again!

I give this place a bare pass. The room itself is not inviting. It's a harshly lit barn of a place without much atmosphere. Service was lacking. The young woman who looked after us was friendly and helpful, but hopelessly overwhelmed. They needed two more people on the floor. Not her fault, but we had to constantly attract her attention. Food was reasonably priced but nothing to get excited about. Pizzas were OK, and my gnocchi was decent, but there's a lot better to be had nearby in the excellent pubs and smaller restaurants within a couple of ks. Some interesting Italian wines on the wine list with reasonable mark-ups. Overall, a C-. We won't be returning in a hurry, if at all.

Food was quite good last night, but I felt compelled to give a 5 star review for our lovely waitress, we had a large booking for around 20 people and she was absolutely warm and fantastic, the best service I've probably had anywhere. She really helped make the night, so refreshing, thanks so much!

27 people dined with a $2000 bill and 2 couldn’t come because of Covid, we rang to inform but they still wanted to charge for the 2 absent even though no meal provided. Couldn’t believe how petty and arrogant the young lady was. Meal wasn’t that good to get that kind of treatment. Never again

Very nice lunch at abruzzo club

We had an intimate family get together in the Il Nido function room to celebrate a 60th Wedding Anniversary. Everything was excellent - the food, the service, and the ambience! Our thanks to Nevenka, Claudia and the staff for going out of their way to make this a memorable day for both my mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Always excellent quality food and service. Very family friendly, a perfect place for young and old.

Great night for the Straight Outta Compo show,. Restaurant offered special menu to ensure we got to the show on time food was good. Also staff couldnt have been nicer ensuring I was comfortable as I am on crutches. Got front row seats great comey show and performers came out for photos and to meet the audience at the end., Thumbs up

Food average... noisy environment not the best place for a conversation

Antipasto was great Main course pizza gamberi no real flavour, orichietti also lacking flavour too much broccoli Ambience on the noisybsude as no soft furnishing Gradi still the stand out either at Brunswick or South Bank If you don't mind small and noisy then +39 in little Bourke beats them all

Great catering for the Italian National Day celebration hosted by Consul General Marco Cerbo at the Abruzzo Club! Well done, great food and great service.

NEVER give them your credit card details over the phone! First they charged you twice for tickets. Second they said It's wrong. Third Speak to the same person 3 times since March & she can't remember!?! Fourth Went there with my banking statement in person. Didn't feel too confident either as she had a glass of wine in her hand when she took a took a photo copy🤔 All I can say is bad customer service, would never go there again. The place is really nice but the wrong people in charge 😔
