By far the best cafe in Brunswick! Staff are super friendly, it’s a great set up for kids and babies and the cafe its self is really cosy! Not to mention the coffee is great and the food is really affordable and super delicious!

Acustico has the best scrambled eggs on toast and i also love their chicken toastie! I love the decor - it’s very funky and hipster. The staff and service is very good.
I have visited this place two times. The first one; I ordered a coffee that it was okay (nothing spectacular) and an almond croissant (That I loved!). The ambient its cool and the staff veeery friendly.
The real hero of this place is the ambience. they have a rest vibe and wonderful staff. I love coming here and downing their delicious baked eggs. 👌🏾

Rustic cafe with recycled furniture all over. The epitome of hipster cafes! Had the baked eggs which was tasty. A true Brunswick experience!
The service offer by the acustico team was absolutely spot on. I had an espresso martini on a single origin and it was one of the best I ever drink in my whole life. The food was served fast and it was delicious. Quality and price are unbeatable!

Cool cafe right on Jewell station, but nice a quiet none the less. Food was nice and well priced. Baked eggs were very nice as was the bircher whilst I had simple toast with vegemite and avocado.
Friendly staff and a big wide area of space in the cafe. Was recommend this cafe by a friend so I thought I'd check it out. Ordered the baked eggs and it tasted great. The food is fairly cheap compared to a few others, but if you'd like a place where you can just chill, this is the place to be.
The cafe staff are nice and i enjoyed the layout and design of the place, i enjoyed the variety of food on the menu and have been back several times,i would recommend anyone in th area giving it a try.
I have been here a couple of times for take away coffee and have been pleased on both occasions. The cafe staff are nice the cafe layout itself is funky and very hipster. I used to go the The Green Refectory around the corner but have found their coffee to be too hit and miss. I will definitely come back here for coffee again.

Amazing fast coffee. Food took about 15-20mins during a busy Saturday. Friendly attentive staff. Chorizo baguette was great. Condiments needed with Breakfast burrito such as sour cream, tom sauce, aioli etc.
Tasty toasties. Tried the pumpkin toastie and the corn toastie. Value for money at $7 each. Good hot chocolate & iced coffee. Great service, friendly staff.
Interesting little cafe with really friendly and welcoming staff. So chilled and relaxed the whole time, making you feel chilled and relax which is nice.
Missus really liked the coffee and she isn't easy to please. She and my friend also really enjoyed the muesli, which was pretty cheap for the size of it.
I had the chicken toastie and the salmon dish. Both a lot bigger than expected. It's nice when someone gives you this much salmon for under $20. Enjoyed both those dishes and will go back to try what else they have in store.
Yum juice and good hot coffee. Nice friendly staff and relaxed interior. I also liked that the tables aren't squeezed in cheek by jowl. It's unpretentious and smack bang next to the train line.

The ambience is always great in this place with their eccentric and mismatched furniture. I have been here several times and the food does not disappoint. It is aesthetically pleasing and all their dishes so far tasted scrumptious! And if you are a student, you get a discount as well. My only complaint would be the long wait for the serving time more so on busy days... If you are in Brunswick, I recommend giving this place a try!
Joey and Jeremy are the nicest people I've met at a cafe, I live down the road from Acustico and I say "hi to them everyday. Truly the best local food.

Went here for breakfast in the weekend and was really, really impressed. Firstly my soy flat white had perfect milk (something which I've found is really hard to find!) and the coffee was delicious. I ordered the 'make your own' breakfast and although I'm pretty sure I asked for salmon but got avocado, it really wasn't a problem as my girlfriend is allergic to avocado and gave me hers, so I ended up with a whole avocado - something I will never complain about! The staff were super friendly, the guy who took our order was really helpful and after explaining I can't eat dairy he was really great at talking me through the menu and what I could and couldn't eat. The coffee was so good we actually ordered more to take away as we were leaving.

Went for my second visit and was just as impressed as the first time, also remembered to take a photo this time! Something to be aware of is that everything is made in the tiny kitchen behind the barista so good can take a while on the weekend when they are really busy but it is worth the wait.
Awesome. My local. Never lets me down. Great coffee, good assortment of menu options. The baked eggs are particularly good. A relaxed, pseudo rustic, friendly environment and the owners are great.

Acustico cafe would have to be the most chilled, layback relaxed cafe in Brunswick and that is definitely a bold statement for the already carefree suburb of Brunswick. Upon entering this unique cafe on a Sunday afternoon a friend and I where greeted by a lovely barrister who indicated for us to take a seat anywhere we desired among the mishmash of tables, couches and benches located within.
The interior presents a random assortment of objects tossed onto the wall with retro rugs available to patrons if they desire to feel more at home when enjoying Acusitco’s free wifi or just general company of loved ones in this family environment.
We chose to sit at one of the elevated tables on bench stools when a lovely waitress who could not have been more relaxed if she tried took our drink orders of a long mac and lemon zilla tea.
Our drinks arrived nice and hot with the long mac brewed to utter perfection presenting a strong fruity acidic roast. The Lemon Zilla tea was clear when poured steaming sour tart lemon grass aromas into ones face to enjoy.
After more than an hour of chatting our stomachs began to rumble so we decided to order some food from Acustico’s small yet humble menu. The ridiculously cheap price of dishes is just one of the many fabulous things about this cafe that offers both palatable savoury and sweet dishes.
Our food being the Bircher Muesli and meal of the day off the specials board being apple,pumpkin seeds,candied walnuts and rocket salad with roasted pumpkin, chicken and honey mustard dressing on seeded toast arrived looking casual and homely. The Bircher Muesli consisting of grated apple, shredded coconut, dried mixed fruit, natural yoghurt, honey, berry compote and rolled oats all soaked in my milk of choice being almond. The Muesli was thick and dense well absorbing the milk crafting for a creamy texture delivered with the help of the yoghurt. The dish was perfectly balanced with sweetness as the tart berries and crisp apple relived the palate from the sweet dried fruits.
The Apple, pumpkin seed, candid walnut, rocket salad with roasted pumpkin, chicken and honey mustard dressing on seeded toast was a large serving portion and a very enjoyable filling meal. The candied walnuts added sweetness and crunch and the dressing lashed over the toast and rocket paired well with the delicately roasted slices of pumpkin. The moist fresh chicken was perfectly cooked and overall this dish could not have been faulted as the fresh apple added a crisp touch to the immaculate dish.
Will certainly be returning to Acustico as the amazing environment paired with lovely staff, homely meals and great coffee ensure customers leave relaxed with money still spare in ones pocket.
We had a very tasty 'build your own breakfast' here this morning and enjoyed it very much. The place is quirky and has a nice feel to it, there's a good choice of food, and the coffee was good too. We'll be back without a doubt!
Melbourne has some pretty damn good cafes and this is definitely one of them. Exactly what you want in a cafe, fantastic food, lay back atmosphere, the best coffee I've had in Melbourne and then to top it all, it's run by genuine, friendly guys! Such a gem of a cafe! Love it!!
These guys know how make some good coffee. I long for this brew and am very fortunate to have this place in my backyard. The brothers are great, friendly and welcoming, and this place deserves kudos in turning a garage into a warm talking spot with Melbourne culture and atmosphere.

tl;dr: great comfortably casual atmosphere, rich and creamy Atomica coffee, fresh produce resulting in a creatively small menu.
Pleasant breeze trails through the Acustico due to a rusticity gorgeous expansion into what could only be described as an artists workshop. A large painted roller door sits permanently open, providing not only sunlight and fresh air but a window into the weekend bustle of the Sydney Rd bike path.
The atmosphere of Acustico is very unique, it's a relaxed casual vibe that is so sort after in the northern suburbs. Brunch hoppers intertwined with creatives tapping away at their MacBooks fuelled on well made Atomica Coffee with no intention of leaving soon.
The menu itself is speckled with fresh ingredients (a lot of which you can see poking around their small open kitchen). There is indeed a creative force behind these dishes, but it would be great to see more of the adventurous special items finding a home on their admittedly small permanent menu.
I ended up settling on the Stuffed Mushroom special with parsley crumbs, pumpkin, tomato relish, finished with crispy kale and poached eggs. All ingredients were amazing fresh and the pumpkin had a vibrantly rich pumpkin flavour. The whole dish came together surprising well though it may need a sharper flavour (perhaps, caper, a soft cheese) to help cut through the richness somewhat.
I look forward to returning soon (I have their avocado salad in my sights), perhaps I'll even spend a lazy afternoon here myself.
It's always good to reward yourself after exercise, to ensure that you won't talk yourself out of it. I come here after swimming at the nearby pool and smooth, velvety coffee always is a lovely and guaranteed reward. The corn toastie with a bit of chilli is a winner.
The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I like the laid-back shed/garage back room with big tables to spread the papers out on.
With this lovely little spot around the corner I will be in next year's Olympic Swimming team.

We’ve been wanting to visit Acustico since we first arrived in Brunswick. This place is seriously cool, opening out from the counter out the front to a large open area at the back, full of things to capture the eye and the imagination.The longer you look the more you find to love and appreciate. We settled in at a table and our coffee orders were taken while we perused the menu. The service is quite relaxed, not surprisingly for a casual hide-away as unique as this one.Acustico serve nice coffee, creamy with some richness but a mostly smooth and mellow flavour. Our first selection was the porridge, the special of the day. It came with vanilla, rhubarb and hazelnut. It was a filling and sweet breakfast, but much healthier than many of the meals that have graced these blog pages.
Nice space for lounging and work: good wifi, lots of space. Tend to have their toasties and fresh squeezed juice. Conveniently located along Upfield bicycle trail towards Coburg. Can get a bit cold, dress warmly

I really like the interior in this place. Cosy, familiar, like your good friend's living room. The staff are super friendly! T and I came here for brunch. Just before the down pour. Lucky! we thought. Well, we still got drenched on our way back, haha. Sorry, T! Croissants with dulce de leche was so sweet and lovely. T had the berry muesli. Incredible!!. Tried these guys out today for the first time. Been making the rounds of all the Brunswick cafes and Acoustico tops the list by far! Had the simple poached eggs with mushrooms and a cuppa tea but holy cow it was amazing!! The toasted quinoa and toasted pepitas as a garnish is pure genius!! The funky retro decor is lovely - lots to look at. The customer service from the guys is perfect. Absolutely adore this place and it'll now become our regular. Can't wait to go back!!

What a find. I'd often cycled past this place just off Sydney road, Brunswick and thought it looked good. Finally made it here for breakfast last week and was VERY impressed. The food is amazing, the service really friendly and the coffee also very good. We didn't venture through into the back but sat outside under the tree on the road. Its not a busy road, so was really pleasant sitting there and watching the cyclists and morning commuters.
We went to many places that week (whilst my sister was over visiting) and I can honestly say that as far as the food went, this place was one of the, if not the BEST!

I get coffee here twice a week on my way in to uni and they've been consistently great from the first one! It's rare to find a cafe that makes perfect soy coffees every time rather than horribly burnt and bitter or lukewarm and weak. Laid back and chill atmosphere, you'll feel cozy just being in there!

A place to catch up and relax. After a long shopping spree on Sydney road, my mum, sister and I discovered this place just round the corner. Friendly staff and helpful too, by referring menu items that are gluten free for my sister. Coffee was spot on! not too hot or too cold, just right :)

Good times. A great little place on the bike path and train line, just far enough away from Sydney Rd to be peaceful. Beaut lil patch of grass out the front with bench seats and small tables collected around the herb filled planter boxes. One of the best coffees in Brunswick and a fine collection of simple food items. The great combination of cornbread with avocado, feta, rocket and lemon worked a treat for me. Delectable looking selection of cakes too! Super friendly and approachable staff to boot. I'll be heading back for sure.

The Chai latte was sensational, perhaps the tastes were heightened by a week of detox but it was Kama Sutra Chai none the less. The owner Diego commented on his distaste of Chai’s using syrup – amen to that.
