Review Didier's Petit Cafe - Brunswick

Highly recommend.💎💎💎 Please except my sincere apologies for the incident we created in your wonderful, beautiful and authentic provincial cafe yesterday. While in the Cafe eating lunch the lady I care for collapsed unconcontios on the floor, during lunch time. The owners only concern was for the person I care for. He was so tentative and undisturbed that we had just scared a half a dozen customers away and taken over his cafe. A very good man that deserves our appreciation at the highest level. We cannot thank you enough💎 By the way the vegetable soup and warm buttered baggette where both More than incredible. Love you guys. Thank you. I just discovered this place and I love it. It feels like im in France with its beautiful coffee and delicious baked on site pastries, breads and condiments. It's a cosy place with lots of morning sunshine a reading table and some bar stools looking out. 👌#googleguides #LetsGuide

Good quality pastries, pies etc. I’ve been 4 times and every time, the pies and sausage rolls are cold in the middle, hence the 4 star

An excellent little cafe and bakery. Everything is amazing! Thank you Didier for the best quiche I have ever eaten :) the almond croissant is also a favourite.

Pie was cold but I don't have the heart to punish frenchie for the deed. Perhaps even artistes are 'seine' after all.

Best croissant I've ever had. It was friendly honest to goodness service that is hard to find in this day and age. You could smell and see the pastries being baked in the oven, have a friendly conversation with your coffee. I can't recommend this place enough!

Simply the most gorgeous and humble bakery and coffee shop in Melbourne. Didier is not just a chef, but an artist who is always friendly and hospitable. The coffee is always top notch, and I can not imagine a nicer way to start my day than paying Dider's cafe a visit.

Brilliant food and friendly atmosphere, the owner clearly loves food and it shows. I recommend the bacon and egg on ciabatta (he adds cheese and his homemade tomato relish, which is out of this world) and his croque madame, but honestly anything on his breakfast menu is delicious!

The best croissants I've ever had, and I've lived in Paris so I'm fussy. Fabulous pastries, awesome homemade jam, wonderful sourdough, smooth and hot coffee. If you haven't been here you're missing out.

Came to Didier's cafe yesterday with a friend after a great review from Brett and Christoff, the croissants are the best !!! we had a chicken pie !!! this is so much more than a chicken pie !!! I'm just sad I live so far away but I will be back asap to try out everything Didier bakes. Thanks so much, Bohdan.

The Best French Pastries in Melbourne!

A small un-assuming little venue but dont be fooled by the exterior! Once you have tired Didier's food you will travel any distance to have it! absolutely amazing!

A lovely petit cafe that serves authentic and delicious French food. The Omelette with home made relish is the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely worth a visit :)

Didier's Petit Cafe est une découverte vraiment spéciale.
Being a committed Francophile I am always in search of really genuine french foods and this ticks all the boxes.
Constantly revolving special dishes and an absolute passion to please makes Didier's a consistent winner.
It is impressive that such good food is produced in such a tiny premises.
