What a wonderful little place!!!!! Nipped in for drinks and nibbles. Were greeted by the super friendly staff and we chose to sit in the outdoor covered courtyard area. (Smoker friendly area)Heaters were turned on straight away and they tempt us toasty warm. Ordered the anti-pasto platter and the warmed olives. Both dishes we served promptly by the super attentive staff. Olives are pre marinated and swimming in a lovely olive oil. The platter had a great selection of "wog" favorites including some of the best Italian cheeses I've ever had. Will be back soon. Brunnie needs a place like this!!!
This place is our local fav. Adam and the staff are super friendly and cannot do enough for you. The menu is a one pager with the most delicious dishes from the appetisers to desserts. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already �

Every now and then in your life, special moments happens and when it does, it gives you hope and faith and you cherish that moment. Cirelli & Co. is one of those moments, simply superb in every way, a wonderfully perfectly constructed menu, the food speaks loudly and brilliantly, the service is pleasantly attentive and the ambience and feel is warm, romantic and inviting. I never thought I would say this, and I am Italian, but the Italian food here is better than my nonnas (sorry nonna, lucky shes not on facebook) The chef in charge of this kitchen should be cooking for the royal family, let alone us pheasants. The bar has been raised, good luck to the others.
From the phone answering while they were closed to book the table, to the ‘welcome by name’ greeting, topped with the undoubtedly best tasting Italian food we’ve ever tasted, this place has ticked more than just boxes.

I got to spend my birthday at this beautiful place tonight. The food was amazing and such attentive and friendly service made for a fantastic evening. The beer on tap is great and to top it off the owners are so friendly that you almost feel like family. Great chats guys ☺

I recently stumbled across this chic restaurant in the middle of what felt like nowhere...and 5 minutes walk from my house. I felt like I was dining in the city without the hassle of parking and weeks in advance bookings. The food was Devine, and the service was friendly and welcoming. I absolutely loved the spaghetti bolognese, with meatballs, so much sauce and the optional chilli spice was a fantastic touch. Ending with a traditional tiramisu was just perfect, it was delicate and a nice finish to the evening. The only disappointment is that I'll be moving within the month so I will no longer have access to this gem. I love that it is open on a Sunday for lunch and music whilst the outdoor area with fairy lights adds another element. This place is sure to get busy when the bearded hipsters find it, so make the most of it while u can.

Only open for 3 months and Cirelli & Co have truly established themselves as maestros of the Brunswick pizza scene. If you are looking for quality pizzas of the gourmet kind, this pizzeria should be at the top of your list.
The restaurant possesses a polished industrial feel which retains a warm and familial character. The menu is grounded in strong Italian heritage. We loved visiting the restaurant for a takeaway Italian feast to enjoy in the comforts of our home.
The appeal of Cirelli & Co pizzas lie in its beautiful crusts and the use of quality produce. As tomato and cheese are staple ingredients in almost every pizza on the menu, it is crucial that they get it right. And fortunately, they do. There is a pleasant freshness underlying the tomato base and the fior di latte, a type of Mozzarella that is made from cow’s milk, is milky in flavour and pleasingly delicate in texture.
The Sofia was a pizza containing layers of fior di latte, fresh cherry tomatoes and basil and finished with EVOO. It was a delectable pizza that kept us wanting more!
The classic margherita pizza was yet another winner. If you are a purist, this is one that truly impresses. Simple yet simply perfect.
Apart from pizzas, the pasta dishes are equally sensational. The parpadelle bolognese possessed a wonderful depth of flavour and featured beautifully al dente pasta.
Dessert time is similarly exciting at Cirelli & Co. Both our desserts of tiramisu and ricotta cannoli were amazing and ensured our Italian feast concluded on a delectably sweet note.
This is a hidden Brunswick gem. Great food and authentic Italian ambience. We had the tagliatelle meatballs and prawn pici and both were great. My only advice would be to turn the music up as the main room can get very quiet.

Small, local restaurant. Absolutely delightful waitress, great service and personality, even though it was only her on the night. As a small business with limited staff, note there is a bit of a wait for food. The porcini arincini were really fungal, in a great way. The calamari fritti although a bit chewy was spot on in flavour, and the accompanying aioli was fab. The gnocchi ragu was bland, with only tiny specs of meat. Very different to what you would normally consider a ragu. It was more like a very plain tomato sauce with miniscule flecks of meat. The ricotta ravioli with mushroom cream sauce was excellent. The tiramsu to finish was very nice. Portions are on the smaller side, even with an entree and main each, plus a shared dessert, we didn't leave full. It would be great if they provided complimentary bread, and provided fresh cutlery between courses.
Cirelli & Co is located off the main road in Brunswick West. It was quiet when we arrived late on a Wednesday night. We ordered some truffle arancini balls, spaghetti Napoli, ravioli with mushroom in cream sauce & fennel salad to share. All dishes were delicious & the serving was generous. We were given some complimentary savory ricotta & eggplant pastries to try for their new menu, which I thought was very lovely. Service was friendly & attentive. Highly recommend Cirelli & Co for affordable & delicious Italian food.

We arrived early at Corelli & Co in Brunswick, appearing just after their opening time at 6, but it didn’t take any time at all for this busy little restaurant to fill up to packed. The interior was cute and quaint and unashamedly Italian. People who look to decorate and Italian restaurant need to come and take photos.
We sat in a corner table and ordered cocktails while we perused the menu board. I went for the seriously bitter Campari spritz which was a strong version of this classic. The cocktail special was also very good. It was gin based and infused with olive oil, thyme, rosemary and basil. Called the Mediterraneo this was our favourite of the two and one I hope to replicate at home some time real soon.
For entree we ordered a very unique dish that I hadn’t seen before anywhere else in Melbourne. It was called the Gallipolino Twisted Calzone and was comprised of a open calzone made 96 hour aged dough with napoli and mozzarella. Made from a recipe that date back centuries this was thinner than a pizza and more oily but in saying so was so much lighter than pizza and very very good. We also ordered The Calamari which came with a balsamic dressed salad.
This is a pasta restaurant so for mains we tried the Gnocchi Serrentina which came with a napoli sauce, buffalo mozzarella, and parmesan. We also tried the Gigli Pesto which came with trumpet/ bell shaped home made pasta and a delicious pesto. Myself and my dining partner had quite contrasting views on these pasta dishes. I found them to classically Italian with honest uncomplicated flavours and a great olive oil base. I don’t want to get all dramatic and say it took me to Italy but I have tasted and enjoyed these style of beautiful pasta dishes on my trips over there and really enjoyed these flavours tonight. I am a bit of a minimalist myself when it comes to pasta sauces where as some people may not be.
Dessert and I had to try the cannoli which I found lighter than some and they had a great crunch. we also tried the chocolate lava cake which was quite a small dish but it was a seriously rich dish that would have been too much if I’d eaten much more of.
I really enjoyed my dining experience tonight and have now dined at three venues on Albion street, all of which have been hits. Long may that trend continue.

I've been 3 times and all 3 times it's been incredible. The twisted calzone is the stuff of dreams and the pastas have all been equally amazing, perfect level of al dente and the texture is amazing. The amaretto tiramisu and the lava cakes were well worth the calories too. So glad to have a new local, made homely with the perfect service too. Not too 'in your face' but attentive as well. I really like this place, and chose it for my monthly bookclub over all the other places in this area. My favourite things about it are the cosy ambiance, authenticity and the lovely staff. The desserts are all really delicious, the wine fine. I really should have a meal there sometime. I also like that it is hidden away - you do have to know about it.
Located off the beaten track in the sleepy suburban parts of Brunswick West, Cirelli and Co impresses the locals with an authentic taste of Italy.
While admittedly there are couple of tidbits here and there that could definitely do with some refinement, however when they do manage get it just right, wow was it a show-stopper in and of itself, and definitely impressed the hell out of us!
We were so excited to eat dinner at Cirelli&co. We were not disappointed. Highly reccomend the eggplant parmigana, homemade gnocchi with Bolognese and the seafood pizza. Generous serving sizes, quality ingredients and Italian at its best. The customer service was a standout. Both Melissa and Illaria served us with a smile and were so attentive and friendly. It made for a wonderful dining experience.

Probably one of the best, if not, the best Italian place in the area. Where do I even start, everything was well crafted and top notch quality. The pizza was amazing, the dough and cheese standout. Another highlight of our meal has got to be the mussel pot. The casa bread dipped in the wine sauce is just heaven.

I had two special main dishes tonight and an awesome entree, linguine nettle with ricotta and intricate bread crumb atturrata, gnocchi 4 formaggi, amazingly creamy and cheese, disco pasta, thin layer of egg pasta with baked tomato, mozzarella. was divine. also the wine list is good! Really good. I had 4 different red. All awesome. Highly raccomended. I will be back soon.
This was a Collaboration visit. This place is a little hidden Authentic Italian Gem! You honestly won’t get more traditional than this, they make their own pastas and gnocchi. The owner David was so friendly and helpful! He was so down to earth and fed us until we couldn’t move anymore!. The food was great, you could really see the love that has gone into the cooking. I would definitely come back to eat again, it’s a great little date night spot in Brunswick!.

Cirelli & Co is a hidden gem in Brunswick west on Albion st. It’s so easy to drive past it but trust me you don’t want to! They serve authentic Italian dishes at affordable prices - pastas $15 on Tuesday’s! The ravioli with truffle, porcini mushroom and cream was the winner for me! Perfect with a glass of Yarra valley Pinot noir.
Calzone with melted mozerella and tomato.
Desserts were tiramisu and Canoli filled with ricotta and dipped in melted chocolate.

Cosy and intimate, Cirelli & Co is almost inconspicuous against its surrounding of residential properties on the narrow road that is Albion Street. When darkness falls and the lights turn on, Cirelli & Co shines like a little oasis.
This place has amazing authentic Italian food! The staff are always lovely and the atmosphere is stunning.
The specials board always have something new, delicious and exciting! The spaghetti and meatballs is 10/10 though :)
About a month ago, we went to dinner at this place just down the road, we have walked past quite a lot and always wondered what it was like. We arrived and sat at our table and just as were seated, the chef came around with chestnuts that he had just roasted out the back, immediately speaking to us like family he piled our table and told us to eat. There is a sense of community and love in this restaurant, like they have been around for a while. With a bit of banter between the chef, the waiter and us, I realised I was already having a good night and we hadn't even opened the menus yet! The wine was delicious, the platter generous and the mains of gnocchi and ravioli could only be half eaten because we were so full! All in all it was a warm, beautiful, romanic and authentic evening. Needless to say the first date was a hit, and we cant wait to return. Thanks Cirelli for a great night!!! See you soon x
Omg!!! They make me a surprise and serve me the meatballs entree on a strange dough base...soft and chewy like a donuts. Taste amazing. So I ask them what it was. Pizza fritta. I will definitely go back to have more! Love it!
This is an absolute fav. If you want super service and gorgeous home style Italian this is the place. The homemade pasta is devine, the sauces are stunning and the servings are generous. It’s a tucked away local secret. Great for weeknights and perfect for a relaxing date night.

The rigatoni asparagus pasta I tried here was very impressive. The pancetta was salty and cut through the smoked ricotta beautifully, coupled with tomatoes and asparagus this was a flavour combination that I hadn’t tried before but was glad I did! Fantastic work guys !

Such a delightful experience. I had dinner with my girlfriends and loved the cosy atmosphere. The waiters were lovely and very attentive. I cannot flaw the service or the food. I was running late to dinner so my friends ordered the mushroom risotto for me. The staff kept my dish in the oven but by the time I arrived they decided to make me a new meal. They really care that you enjoy a fresh meal. I would definitely come back and take my family out for some pasta. If you’re after a cute intimate dinner then I recommend dropping by!

We came via a recommendation. This is a quintessential Melbourne experience for locals and visitors alike. One of those ‘best kept secrets’ kind of places. Authentic, unpretentious, comfort food. Had a Zucchini sausage saffron sauce rigatoni. It was ace. Good, affordable interesting wine list too. But most of all the lovely staff brought a certain Joie di Vivre to the table that totally made our night. Great for date night or a quality catch up with friends. Tutto Bene! What an amazing experience! If you're vegan, ask David (the chef) for some options. He's a vegan chef and I was lucky enough to have him generously plate up a beautiful gnocchi for me.
This place is amazing, been here twice and the pasta is so authentic and tasty. Beautiful outdoor area, perfect for a romantic date. This time I brought a vegan friend, and the chef made her a special gnocchi dish to suit. I got the spaghetti marinara and the seafood was so fresh! They even came and gave us some roasted chestnuts to snack on! The staff are warm and friendly, and make you feel right at home. Will be coming back!
What a beautiful little place for a cold winters night. The wine list is simple but with a few of my favourites, no complaints here.
We shared the meatballs and the mussels for entree. The mussels were full of flavour in a subtle tomato sauce, and though slightly gritty, still enjoyable. The meatballs were the star 🙌🏻 melting away at the touch of your fork, a wave of nostalgia hits...they are just like nonna makes. The gnocchi was simple done well, and if you’re not a fan of truffle I’d stay away from the mushroom risotto. I however enjoyed every last bite.

Spaghetti and meatballs best dish by far.
We have been cirrellis a few times, and on one occasion it felt like they may have dropped the ball with serving sizes hitting the smaller size and meatballs off the menu.
However, glad to report they are back on top. Meatballs is back on the menu and serving sizes are back to what they should be. Partner ordered the special, had sausage and saffron and free panetone for Xmas. Left very satisfied.
Have been here twice in the past month. I dream of the house made pasta every day! The best pasta I’ve had in Australia. Incredible waitstaff, bar selection, and menu.
Very small kitchen so if you go on a busy Friday or Saturday plan ahead, you will wait for a while, but the food makes the wait worth it and wine/spirits selection will keep you occupied.
Waitstaff are present but are not constantly table side as this is a small low key spot so don’t expect someone else to fill your wine/water glass.
Great spot for families, groups of friends, or an intimate date. 10/10!!
Small and cozy but more importantly in walking distance. We shared the charcuterie board which was lovely and fresh. Following we had pasta
mista which was all cream based. We left it to the chef- maybe we should of requested a meat sauce. We will be back. Pasta is home made and the fettuccine a little to thick but still very nice. A gem in the local area.
Wonderful night had at this great little Italian place. The food is amazing, the service exceptional, the wine list extensive and a wonderful/vibrant atmosphere. The only fault I would have is the tables for two where too close together. Making it difficult to have a quite conversation. Do yourself a favour and go treat yourself here.

EDIT: Unfortunately the old owners have left and this place is now under new management. I've given the new owners two chances since the change and I won't be back.
We had a Sunday lunch booked and my mother in laws food came out about an hour and a half after everyone else's. My sister in law ordered a lamb pasta that had about a tablespoon of lamb in the whole thing.
The service has definitely left with the previous owners. Shame cause I love supporting local business.

Great little neighborhood gem, this place has a very relaxed feel to it. I especially love the map of Brunswick West on the wall.
I've been here at least 5 times and have brought many friends here who love it as much as I do. I highly recommend the spaghetti meatballs with cannoli for dessert.
I do think they could expand the menu and offer a few more options though.
Had many meals here now, from some delicious muscles off the specials board, to several of the pastas, charcuterie plates and more - all have been delicious. Cold, refreshing beers, tasty cocktails and a cozy "New York" feel. The staff are endearing and helpful, never pushy. What a treasure in the area!

We enjoyed our first trip to Cirelli & Co. the food was lovely. Unfortunately, the service was a bit underwhelming.
My husband and I ordered a panzerotti to share as an entree. My husband ordered the gnocchi sorrentina special as a main and I ordered the mussels from the shared plate menu which I wanted as a main. The waitress didn't write down our order but confirmed which dishes we wanted brought out when. We weren't surprised when the dishes were not brought out in the correct order because she didn't write it down!!! The panzerotti and gnocchi came out together and I had to ask for my mussels to be brought out. The owner/manager was apologetic and offered a free drink which was lovely - the offer was not honoured and we were charged for all our drinks.
Oh and 3 of my mussels were not open upon cooking but were served to me anyway, very disappointing.
In terms of the fitout, the tables are extremely small and difficult to share dishes on.
I'd go here again but I'd keep my order simple.
This is just up the road from our house so my housemates and myself have been there several times! The food is generous, fresh and tasty. Lovely service and the tiramisu is bang on. My only gripe is the dining room is just a little crowded so can be a little hectic.

Enjoyed the most lovely dinner on Saturday night with my Husband... It was so good that I almost don't want to share it with anyone that's not a local, but hey, I think you all deserve a spot here !
We were greeted by the warmest hospitality and swiftly provided our table.
Menus were provided promptly and drinks orders taken soon after. There is the loveliest amount of wine by the glass and bottle aswell as scrumptious cocktails and beers/cider/non alcoholic if that's more your preference.
My husband had a question about the wine by the glass that the owner was all too knowledgable to explain even offering him a taste before he committed, I just love that !
Orders for food taken promptly aswell and the food.... Wow, the food is DIVINE. No ridiculous fan fare or crazy garnishes, just rustic home cooked Italian food, the way we like it ! So reasonably priced with generous servings.
My husband had the risotto and whilst I only got a small taste we both agreed it seriously is the best risotto we have ever eaten ! Spaghetti and meatballs were just delicious, so saucy and tasty. Pasta cooked perfectly.
Finished with Cannoli and Tiramisu ! Yum !!
The decor and ambience are prefect, love the exposed brick and high ceilings. The bar faces out to the main dining area and staff very attentive to each table.

Went here in a Friday night with the family youngest one is In a pram they very accomdating We ordered anti pasta which was nice also the polenta My son had the Ragu calzone type pastry which he loved we had meatballs which I loved My partner had the broccoli pasta she enjoyed but said she wouldn't order it again

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Great atmosphere even on a Monday night. Delicious food and great service. Be worth trying on a busy Friday/Saturday night but make sure you book at lease two days in advance as these tables go fast!
What an awesome new place! The food was amazing with generous portions. Service was great too. Love the fact they gave a cool little beer garden and have Brunswick bitter on tap. Will be back for sure!!
Cirelli & Co is an awesome addition to Brunswick West. Pasta is brilliant. Menu is bang on with entrees and mains covered on a single page. Very easy to recommend this one, a new favourite. I'll definitely be back.
Love this place! Good vibes, great staff and great food! Try the panzerotti- they're fried pockets of pizza dough with lots of good stuff inside! Will definitely be back for more

Very pleased with this addition to brunswick west! Love the atmosphere of the place and the trendy yet quaint vibe the decor provides. Genuinely friendly and approachable staff. Food is done really well - price and portion. Great value. I would reccomend the seafood pasta and the spaghetti and meatballs! Great outdoor area for casual drinks and or food :)
My word. What a stunning and versatile little restaurant. The food was scrumptious the staff even more so. I can just picture myself sitting in their beer garden out back and sipping one of their divine amaretto sours. Do yourselves a favour guys.
As a Brunswick local I've been waiting a long time for a place like this to open, fantastic food and atmosphere, must try the spaghetti meatballs and the alla norma! Staff were very friendly and attentive too. I think I've found my new local!
Everything was absolutely perfect and I enjoyed a good quality night with friends and good food. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and the drinks were spot on just to top everything off! Perfect for a quality night with friends and good vibes, but also very welcoming to families too! Such a local gem for Brunswick West and I cannot wait to come back.
p.s: Order one of their Panzerotti's, it's a must!
I think we were one of their first customers and we were welcomed very warmly into their vibrant little restaurant. Adam and everyone were so lovely to deal with and the food/drinks are reasonably priced. What a great local addition to Brunswick West! So happy to have such a place so close to home. We will definitely be back, can't wait to become regulars !
