Love Love Love this place! The small place, had a busy but friendly atmosphere. The decor fascinated me and the place was very inviting. The quaint little cafe has certainly satisfied my South American food hunt in Australia!
Will certainly return whenever in Melbourne!

I love this place!!! I felt like I was back in my home-country, Chile. Excellent and authentic food, great decoration and music. Lovely and warm people running the place. I will definitely come back next time that I am in Melbourne!
We had a great afternoon enjoying great food and service. The ceviche is to die for. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu.
A place with a soul, delicious food, the best yerba mate and great music! This will be on my list of favourite places in Melbourne <3 Totally recommend!
It's a lovely place to share with your friends while you're enjoying an amazing coffee. If you want to know more about the South American culture or practice Spanish, I totally recommend you to go there. The menu is delicious and you can find typical food from Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and other countries. I love "Weon Choro". They're great at what they do. If I could give them 10 stars I definitely would!!!
If you are looking for an authentic South American food experience, do not miss this place! You can even drink mate while eating your breakfast or lunch. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. Highly recommended! Amazing job Neruda’s! #youhadmeathola
Excellent food, I recommend specially the delicious Vegetarian Pastel de Choclo and the refreshing Mote con Huesillo. Very friendly team, fun environment, great service. We will definitely go back for more!
Best place to have break in your day , excellent service, amazing food , clean and cosy, just like those kind of places that you will stay longer than usually ... can't wait for my pisco sour and ceviche
I ordered sushi and a cake for my birthday party and everything was delicious and well presented. The owner and the chef are very friendly! Awesome service
Brilliant little South American cafe. We went for the 1st time yesterday and we'll definitely keep going there. The staff were all smiles and friendly and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. A warm and cosey cafe and my friends and I can't wait to go back. Very soon!
Amazing place and food
The ambient was perfect
Ho trovato questo ristorante molto carino. Il cibo cileno era molto buono. Io consiglio le enpanads
A great place to have breakfast or lunch with the family and friends. Gus and the staff are warm and welcoming. You feel at home.
The food was super tasty and delicious 😋 the service was above and beyond, drove about 50mins to get here but definitely worth it and will be returning! Loved the Chilean sushi, the negritas and the pap! Took me back to Chile 🇨🇱 thank you ! Keep up the good work !

Great coffe and great vibe! It's also a great place to enjoy South American food and culture. You can practice your Spanish too!
At a time when I was missing South America, this place came into my life.
Great coffee, great baristas, great traditional Empanadas! And a cosy space that's super convenient and chill.
Will be back. A lot.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Totally lived up to our expectations, thanks Gus.
I loooove this spot, which served up Latin dishes I’ve yet to find elsewhere in Melbourne’s inner city. There aren’t tons of vegan options but plenty of vegetarian ones including sweet arepas with sweet and savoury caramelised onion scrambled eggs. It’s an absolutely delicious combo. I also love all the empanadas, both sweet and savoury. The service is prompt and friendly and the shop stocks a great range of Latin products at reasonable prices. If you are unfamiliar with Latin American food and want an introduction, you’ve gotta visit this stellar spot.
First time trying South American cuisine. Felt so welcome and immersed in the culture for a nice brunch. Will definitely be back.
An intimate little Chilean cafe, situated in a pocket of Brunswick. The decor really feels like you’re in South America, with traditional Chilean folk music. It’s classic, traditional, and warm. Perfect place to try something different! Excellente!
I went to this place during the week. I must say I am impressed: it has charm, good service, very reasonable prices and what I had was absolutely delicious (sopaipillas, beef empanada and a “chilenito”). I took more food home. I will definitely come back
Una grata sorpresa al encontrar un pequeño café sudamericano.
Neruda's is quite (=very) small but what it lacks for in size is most definitely compensated for in homely friendly atmosphere and really good food.
A very diverse and interesting menu which offers some awesome examples of simple and flavorsome South American foods.
Considering also the limited size of the kitchen, the quality and authenticity of the dishes pleasantly surprises.
Came here with my Chilean friend and had three great dishes. The staff were really friendly and the cafe is very cozy. It definitely has that authentic feel.
A place worth visiting. Love the atmosphere, feels like you're overseas! The food delicious. Must try everything!!!!! It is a small venue ams gets busy, so be sure to book by calling them.

Please go and try the empanadas con pebre. Simply delicious !!! They also have lots of Chilean and Latin American dishes.
I heard that now they are making Chilean sushi!! I can't wait to go back !
Very good place!! Excellent chilean food!
We went to have lunch there. Empanadas and humitas really good!! And very nice people! I will obviously come back!
This is the best place I have been to, in Melbourne, in a really long time. AMAZING food, cozy place, great coffee and genuine friendly service. The lovely man there was doing his best to give us a great experience with different dishes. Such a relaxed atmosphere as well. My new favourite place ❤️well done all!
I love churrasco chacarero, I also got an empanada and a sweet empolvado to finalise my day, ahhh I forgot I got a pisco sour and mote con huesillos for drinks.
Just awesome. Churrascos, empanadas de queso, empanadas de pino, berlines...YUM!!!! I could eat here every day. It's almost as good as a trip to Chile. ;)
Brilliant place. Great food, coffee is excellent, they show soccer on TV and Gus, the owner, is an absolute champion and the most welcoming host in Melbourne
Very chilled atmosphere and interesting Latino decor, almost feels like going into someone's home for a coffee and a snack. The food was good. Been there a few times and will be back.
This local cafe serving South American homestyle food is a real find! I have been several times for lunch - the empanadas are delicious, coffee is consistently great and the place has a warm ambiance. Last week, the owners, Ocar and Gus, opened one night for a group of my girlfriends. We had a delicious banquet and they made a massive effort to cater for our group's dietary requirements.
Very warm service and delicious, homely Chilean and South American food. Unpretentious yet delicious. Loved the empanadas and the Chilean potato, pumpkin, meat and green bean dish. Can't wait to try their homemade dulce de leche
Café is difficult to look in from street level and hard to know what's going on inside. There's no menu on display from outside either. But if you're courageous enough to venture in, great empanadas and potato tortilla with friendly service. Minor details to be nutted out like serving water without being requested or asking if customers want another coffee when empty cups are being cleared, but I'm sure this new café will work things like this out soon. Good food, good coffee, friendly service. Will return.
Lovely new place was authentic Chilean & south American Cousine, before ordering ask for specials as the menu seems to expand. Small cafe size venue. great attentive service. Like eating at home for Latinos.
A Great Cafe.
If you are in the area you just have to pop in for a great coffee, breakfast or lunch.
We especially love the Empanadas. They serve Really wholesome South American food, the place has a good, welcoming vibe and is staffed by really warm friendly people
We Have had morning coffee there several times recently accompanied by one of their Empanadas. Yesterday we had lunch which was just as good and fresh as the Empanadas.
Really looking forward to when they get their liquor license and start opening for dinner.
