Review Juanita Peaches - Brunswick

MazB [Hangrymaz]
I have loved every visit to Juanita Peaches! Always ordering my go-to Double Cheesy with shoestring fries on the side! Great service and quality food šŸ‘Œ and I love getting All Day Donuts for dessert after! Burgers and donuts - the best match up! Definitely recommend checking out! worth the trip every time ā˜ŗ

Love how unique and original these guys are in both their style and offering. House baked buns for the cheeseburger and a secret rub - the fried chicken was also definitely a winner! All Day Donuts were a cheeky takeaway for later šŸ«¶

Had a delightfully tasty lunch at Juanita Peaches today and you bet I ate that entire plate of food šŸ¤¤ Ordered the 2 piece box with extra bread roll and gravy. It reminded me of an elevated 2 piece KFC feed BUT much, much, much better. Do not pass up the bread roll and gravy - the bread roll is incredibly soft and goes for good dipping in the rich and balanced spiciness that is the gravy. Chicken crumb is well salted and evenly coated, chicken is juicy, shoe string fries are fresh hot out of the fryer and well salted, and coleslaw is vibrant. Couple of beers later and a feast that lasted 40 minutes, I frolicked home like a happy little chook šŸ¤ See you again soon guys, well done!

Double cheeseburger was good value for money- get the less-salted option on the fries as the both times Iā€™ve been here, the fries have been really salty. Chicken ribs were delicious. (PS: the milkshake doesnā€™t use ice cream)

Great burger joint, I enjoyed the streamlined menu, got the double, was very satisfying. I enjoyed the array of sauces on the table as well (you donā€™t often see Tapatio) Only complaints was that the burger itself was pretty salty and the buns a tad stale (it was a humid day) Got a donut for dessert, it was a bready style, with heaps of filling. I usually donā€™t like bready, but their doughnuts donā€™t taste oily, the dough itself tasted good. Plenty of street parking and staff were friendly.

Really like this place. Close to my work, but if we went there too often we would be as big as a house. Limited menu, but just enough variety. The burgers and fried chicken 'sandwich' (burger!) are outstanding. Good selection of drinks (e.g. Bundaberg brewed lemonade), quick, efficient but friendly service. Decent coffee and a selection of killer (calorie wise) doughnuts!

Fried chicken burger was an absolute dream to eat. Crunchy, moist and juicy and bonus it's huge!

Bought the corn chips and salsa, which came with guac instead of salsa. The chios were home made and not bad but there were a few that were either uncooked or old one the were recooked could not tell exatly as they were hard and not light and airy like the rest . The popcorn chicken with the gerkin came with a spicy bbq sauce and was worth the price tag but not so the cornchips.

Hands down my absolute favourite place. Awesome food, atmosphere, music, staff and merch! Greatest doughnuts of all time ļæ½

I absolutely loved it!! I had the cheeseburger, also half my wife's chicken sandwich and a piece of chicken!! They were all amazing, the whole experience was great... starting from the staff service even the walk to the toilet was cool. You'll see when you go! Cheers Juanita Peaches!!

One of the best cheeseburgers Iā€™ve ever eaten, EVER!! And Iā€™ve eaten a few burgers in my time.
Mark Abagi
Best. Junk food. Ever. Don't be fooled by the visage. There is some serious frying business going on in there. The clogged arteries are worth it!
Nicole Darcy
Amazing !!!! The most succulent, delicious southern fried chicken - actually any damn chicken wings around and those dipping sauces and fries ļæ½
Leah Sparks
Their burgers are so delicious, I can't take it. Boss sauce is simply divine. I'm obsessed. This place is a gift from culinary heaven.

Thank you for making my husband's birthday a great night, a wonderful place to bring family and friends together for dinner and even a bit of impromptu dancing to the cool tunes of the DJ.

Hamburgers. The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast.
Dave Myers
Best Chicken Burger in Australia, probably the world.
Max Fisher
The burger was the best I have ever tasted.
Bob Geyer
Fish tacos are very good, cheeseburger not too shabby either!
Donna Durante
Food was delicious. Doughnuts were awesome šŸ©šŸ©šŸ©šŸ©šŸ©šŸ©

The tastiest fried chicken sandwich I've ever had at laneway fest in Syd yesterday. Muy bien

I could live here for the rest of my life and eat juicy juicy chicken.

Amazing vegetarian burger. Amazing! Staff are lovely.

4.5. Have been meaning to visit Juanita Peaches for a while, and it was definitely one of the better takeaway experiences of the last few months. Staff were super friendly and made sure the food was cooked just as I was going to pick it up, meaning it was warm and fresh! The chicken pieces were crispy and very tasty (love the boss sauce), the cheeseburger was perfect (yay for no surcharge for lettuce and tomato!), and one of the better poutines Iā€™ve had in Melbourne. Couldnā€™t help but grab a few donuts as well which were nice if a tad sweet for my tastebuds. Canā€™t wait to come back. Highly recommended.
Burgers Of Melbourne
There really is not a lot to fault with this burger, everything worked perfectly. House made buns, house made pickles, perfect beef blend and a sauce that is mouth watering.<br/><br/>When things are done right, they are just done right and Juanita Peaches knows what's up, and so they should, the owner of Juanita Peaches is the same as Beatbox Kitchen, Taco Truck and All Day Donuts which have all been a hit.<br/><br/>I usually say that some sort of chilli is must, but after dipping into both variations on the table, this burger was actually better as it is, although I wouldn't mind trying another variation with fried chicken as I heard their fried chicken is banging!<br/><br/>Having All Day Donuts also means that is exactly what you will be ordering for dessert.<br/><br/>Juanita Peaches definitely deserves a visit, it is up with Melbourne's best!
Andre B
The burger was amazing! Meat was cookdd perfectly, cant go wrong with a classic cheeseburger here. Fried chicken was fresh and very hot with a great coating and flavour. Fries were average. Highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fried chicken.
Chocolate E Claire
Solid deliciousness every time. The fried chicken is always delicious. The burgers are some of the best in town !

Consumed"<br/><br/>Popcorn chicken - kind of rubbery in places, with no real crunch. There did appear to be some kind of thin batter attached, but it offered no resistance.Ā  The BBQ sauce that came with it was okay, but the "house made pickles" didn't really work with the dish.<br/><br/>Cheeseburger - I knew I was taking a risk here, but for $14 this burger was pretty disappointing.Ā  A small burger on an uninspiring bun.Ā  It tasted okay, but not good enough for the price.Ā  I skipped the fries ($2 extra) because they were shoestring... and really, what is the point?<br/><br/>Chocolate donut - pretty pricey ($5) and just okay. <br/><br/>Not much to the setup... very Brunwick lo-fi... short stools with no backs, cutlery in tins on tables, ordering at the counter etc.Ā  Makes me wonder why some of their prices are so high.<br/><br/>Very unlikely to bother with a return visit.
Oodreiilittlepotato
I ordered their burger combo through ubereats.chicken/beef burger + fries + donut for $25!! A really good deal :) their burger is nice. The patty was a bit dry. But it was ok. The fries is standard shoestring fries is ok :) their donut! Is good too! :) good texture and frosting! :)

Went here on a recommendation from a friend of mine and got a Simpsonā€™s doughnut. It was a nice doughnut no doubt but wasnā€™t blown away. Maybe go another time if I am in the area but especially make a trip.

I will preface this review by stating that my amigos and I experienced a wave of emotions today. We laughed, we loved, we cried and we loved again. We truly appreciate Juanita and her peaches. <br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed with warmth by Juanita herself, and yes.. her peaches were in attendance. <br/>The freshly brewed coffee aroma intertwined with the polyunsaturated hydrocarbons from the deep fryer crossed my blood-brain barrier and enlightened my mind, allowing me to open my third eye. I can now say with confidence, bush did 9/11.<br/><br/>Service: <br/><br/>Whilst the owner of the business didnā€™t say much his vibrant and open smile confirmed that we were in the heart of the culturally diverse city of Melbourne- specifically Brunswick. The waitress gave us the wonderful tip of dashing the jalapeƱo water pictured above all over our French fries which added a depth that can only be described as touching Juanitaā€™s peaches on a midsummer afternoon. <br/><br/><br/>Food:<br/>This is the third and final instalment of the trilogy of experiences we faced today. <br/>The chicken was KFC on steroids, cooked to perfection with a core temperature of 175 degrees Celsius. Every bite revealed succulent Gallus domesticus fibres whose juices bathed every one of my oral stratified squamous epithelium and directly absorbed into my plasma. With it I saw exactly how this beautiful fowl lived her short yet purposeful existence. <br/>The donuts were also life changing. The OG took me back to my LA roots, reminded me to never forget where I came from. Simple yet glorious. On my own path to glory, I was reminded to remain humble like the OG, my OG for real dawg.<br/><br/><br/>Will I return? <br/>Did The king return to Cleveland to delivery a championship?
John Regos
Fried chicken was fresh and crispy. So weā€™re the shoestring fries. Even the coleslaw was crunch so obviously had been made fresh. <br/><br/>Friendly service.
Burgerpants
Ordered a cheeseburger, fries and glazed donut via Uber Eats. Fries were deliciously hot and salty despite the distance (around 15 min drive). Cheeseburger was cooked medium/ medium rare which is not my jam. Perhaps something that should be mentioned in the menu? Had I known I wouldā€™ve made adjustments. Donut was..ok. Couldnā€™t tell if it was supposed to be a sour dough or if the dough was just sour. You know? Overall, would probably go back if I was in the neighbourhood and in the mood but not sure if Iā€™d go out if my way to have again.
Eden K
They have good donuts and the poutine was nice however the black bean burrito was awful, it had absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Iā€™m not sure what kind of burrito includes soggy coleslaw but I wasnā€™t a fan... at all. Had two bites and It went in the bin. The staff were also extremely rude.
Jodie Pai
Had a craving for fried chicken and though weā€™d give a local place a try. Usually would head up to Preston or even a franchise like Gami. Not a fan, unsure why rated so highly. Chicken tastes fresher and less oil soaked at KFC.
Whalesfoodadventure
Burger joint that also sells donuts!!!... winning :) got the eggplant burger which was sooo good. Loved the fries. Popcorn chicken was okay but the burger had so much flavour!
Debby
Great small place off Brunswick street serving burgers, fried chickens and snacks. The burgers and the fried chickens are juicy. The burger sauce is great too. Too bad the sauce in the fried chicken sandwich tasted very ketchup-y which is not my kind of thing. Poutine is great and generous portion too.<br/>
Sesame Eats
Juanita Peaches offers simple but tasty American junk food. Their main attraction - the fried chicken - is mouth watering good; theyā€™re crunchy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside, and while the flavours are simple, it works exceptionally well. The sides leave something more to be desired however. The Fries, Slaw, and Popcorn Chicken are all very run-of-the-mill, but the amazing dipping sauces (especially their horseradish mayo) definitely makes for a more enjoyable experience.<br/><br/>Apart from the food, the service was very friendly. The environment was relatively clean and pretty hip. The place is inside a brick warehouse-like building with some retro 80s vibes happening. <br/><br/>Iā€™d highly recommend grabbing a few friends and coming down here for a fried chicken feast.

Fuego! Chicken is crunchy and tasty. Chicken burger good. Fries are good. Mac n cheese was av. Donuts are fuego! Ample parking outside. Good outside dining area.
Claire & Eric
Hands down best chicken burger weā€™ve ever had. The chicken was succulent, had a mild touch of spiciness, and the coleslaw gave the burger a good balance.<br/><br/>We also ordered their ā€˜chicken burritoā€™ which turned out to be far from a burrito and was just a chicken wrap. There was no beans, no rice, no salsa, no guacamole, just chicken with salad and sauce. Knowing we ordered a burrito, and consuming just a wrap was disappointing. <br/><br/>Will return for their chicken burger and most likely will try their other dishes too.
Liberty Davies
Really fantastic food, you can't taste the quality, everything is cooked to perfection despite the place being flat chat.<br/>Chicken burrito special was delicious, so was the chicken burger. Loved the pickled cauliflower as a little side to cut through the richness.<br/>Service was friendly and a really happy atmosphere. First visit and this is our new go to place for a fried chicken fix.
Daniel Savvinos
In the area felt like a burger having been here before I knew what to expect. It was just as good as last time the sauce perfectly complementing the meat and cheese. One of Melbourne's best.
We Know This Place
We canā€™t rave about the fried chicken boxes enough!Ā <br/><br/>The chicken is so juicy on the inside yet crispy on the outside, and it is this fact that makes it hard to breathe between bites because you canā€™t resist shovelling it into your mouth. The batter is peppery and contains coriander and onion powder, among a number of secret spices.
Molly Grace Batrouney
Southern food in the middle of Brunswick. Diner feel fit out. Juicy fried chicken. Great for a cheap burger. Just wished our meals would all come at the same time.
Christina Flores
Went here for lunch with my partner and it was amazing. We got a double cheeseburger, popcorn chicken starter, and the special of the day: poutine.<br/><br/>All 3 dishes were magnificent. The double cheeseburger was cooked to perfection, juicy, and filling. The popcorn chicken came with a housemade barbecue sauce that was a bit fruity and smoky - I wanted to drink it up! However, the poutine was the standout. Covered in real cheese curds, perfectly crisp fries, and smothered in liquid gold (spiced chicken gravy), we were very pleased.<br/><br/>Juanita Peaches is a Brunswick staple and we'll definitely be back to try out the fried chicken! I also got a donut take-away that I can't wait to indulge in tonight!

How has it taken me so long to get here?! These burgers are delicious and definitely worth a visit. I went basic when I visited recently and opted for the cheeseburger, a delicious thick beef patty (I asked for it well done and I think that was a good call), cheese, big pieces of pickle which add a nice tang, melted cheese and a delicious sauce (that is kind of reminiscent of Big Mac sauce!). The fries on the side were perfect too, well seasoned and crispy. Loved this place!<br/>Theyā€™re licensed too so you can have a drink AND they have delicious doughnuts courtesy of All Day Doughnuts so you can pick up dessert as well. Win!
Emily Lawrence
I love this place! Great burgers, great chicken, great fries. The best donuts, eeeeveeeer! I had the apple crumble donut, the apples were perfect, the icing and the crumble was unique, but the perfect texture, and the dough was soo fluffy!
Lisa Nguyen
Ordered the fried chicken box with a side of gravy and boss sauce. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the meat was tender and juicy. The coating had potential to be perfect, it just lacked seasoning and so it made the dish quite bland. I wasn't too fond of the boss sauce, but the gravy was good and helped add flavour to the dish. I'm not a huge fan of shoe string fries but they were cooked well. I didn't like the coleslaw salad, I found it underdressed. Customer service was good, atmosphere of the place was great. It had a very chill, hipster vibe. They also sell donuts which were delicious.
Ayesha Aijaz
Go Juanita! You never disappoint. Great food. We come all the way from eastern suburbs. Perfect chicken. Just the right amount of crunch and moisture. <br/>Service is great with staff going out of their way for their customers! Love love love it! A must try for melbourne!!

Juanita Peaches is in my Top 3 for the Best Cheese Burger, Fried Chicken and Original Glazed Donut!<br/><br/>After hearing so many great reviews about JP's Double Cheese Burger, I knew it was time to give this bad boy a try! My first bite was truly unforgettable as the soft housemade boogie bun and the coffee rubbed medium beef patties melted in my mouth! I then proceeded to add the Freshly Deep Fried Chicken Maryland and had my second bite! I immediately realised this burger was 100 times better with that added crunch and I inhaled this beauty without an ounce of hesitation. No joke this was an amazing experience and the donuts were freshly glazed and deep fried, so it was an added bonus!<br/><br/>If you want an unforgettable experience like me, just order the Single or Double Cheese Burger with an added Fried Chicken Maryland!
Dj Meowmeow
Had a serious hankering for some fried chicken last night so I ordered 4 pieces through deliveroo. The chicken was beautifully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Very satisfied! Needed a little salt but that's because I'm a salt fiend.Ā  Can't wait to eat in next time.

Not a bad place, but didn't quite live up to my expectations. I had the cheeseburger with fries, and I thought the bread was a little dry. The burger could definitely have used a little more sauce, but the pickle ratio was spot on. And when I say spot on, there seemed to be HEAPS of pickles, just the way the burger gods intended. The fries were the shoestring variety, and not overly special. Well seasoned, so if salt's not your thing then you may struggle. There's a small selection of wine and beer, and the doughnuts looked unbelievably epic.
Melissa
Cosy American diner style place with great burgers and fried chicken.<br/><br/>Ordered the cheeseburger, fried chicken, and chicken sandwich (which is just a burger too).Cheeseburger was simple but really tasty, the beef has a more peppery taste than usual burgers which is interesting. It satisfied what I wanted in a cheeseburger.<br/>The waiter described the fried chicken as "similar to KFC, but better", which was a great description of it. The marinate permeates through the chicken, which is crispy and super moist inside.Ā <br/>The chicken burger was really good too.<br/><br/>Service was really friendly. The food did take over half an hour to come, so expect a wait.
Lynda Tieu
I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately our first dinner here would probably be our last. We ordered the bean burrito and eggplant sandwich, however both lacked flavour. The burrito came with a side of corn chips which was a nice touch but they were missing salsa/guac/seasoning. While I do appreciate vegetarian options on the menu, I'd love it if the vegetarian offerings could hold their own too. Unfortunately we were so disappointed that we left without trying a donut.
Bumbum19977
Love this place normally - service, cheeseburgers, chips great. Today, unfortunately, had the chicken sandwich that was doused in ā€˜boss sauce,ā€™ which was in fact tomato sauce. Thick layer on both buns to the point where it wasnā€™t enjoyable as it was soggy and overpowering. Way too much sauce.
Renee Magnaye
Great quality double cheeseburgers!! <br/>Cute place, lovely outdoor seating and good customer service! Will have to try the fried chicken next time. And also the doughnuts, which looked fresh and delicious!
Melissa
Visited Juanita Peaches on Saturday evening with my partner. It was a quiet-ish place with a nice vibe and good service. Ordered a fish burrito with a side of fries. Meal was alright, but I probably would order something else next time, most likely fried chicken on its own or in a sandwich. Partner had the cheese burger and loved it. Would return to try something different.
Angtzoo
Good vibes and one of the best burgers I have tried in Melbourne. Simple burger that doesnā€™t disappoint, the donuts are a perfect way to finish. So good!! Will be back for sure!
Amanda
Hipsters paradise. This basic diner has all the best basics. Basic burgers, fries, fried chicken and donuts. Seating is limited but takeout works just fine.
Nin
Cute place that serves simple and delish food. Love me that fried chicken sammich. Shout out to the bloke that always remembers our order! šŸ‘ŒšŸ»šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

omggg yum!!!!! can not think of a better pick me up than Juanita's Peaches. The food is actually soo yum and refreshing (and also perfect for the morning after a big night! )
Paige Eats New Zealand
I'm so pissed off with this order. Paid $50 for two burgers. Arrived stone cold, burger buns soggy to the point they were inedible. Chips were also stale and cold. Paid $5 for a roll and gravy and was so disappointed that they could justify the serving size for the price. Wouldn't recommend, ever.
Onara
I ordered the chicken because I understood it to be the speciality. Itā€™s excellent. Huge, tender pieces with just the right amount of salt and spice, and not greasy. Perfect shoestring fries too!
Meaghanastrid
I've had better food at that petrol station that's on the way to Geelong. Small portions, which isn't so much of a problem because of the aforementioned quality. Just because the decor is hot and the tired/hopeless waitstaff are spunks, does not mean you can charge that much for a plastic basket of dry chicken and a stale roll with packet gravy. The fish burrito is weird and gross. Hey how do you ruin chips? But how? Oh ok, the milkshake was nice. I'll give them that much. Take it to a food court...
Kate McCallum
Cheeseburger was great! I like that you get to add your own sauces to the burger, so cheesy and warm. Corn chips and salsa very yummy also. Vanilla shake 10/10. Chocolate shake was but milky.. couldn't taste much of the chocolate
David Mitchell
Love Juanita Peaches. After hearing rave reviews, I definitely needed to visit quickly. These burgers are great. The double cheesy is always cooked perfectly and has a great unique taste that seperates them from all the other burgers. Love it!
Tay Tee
Yum Yum Yum!! Cute spot just off Sydney Rd. We sat inside as it was cold but looking forward to going back in summer and sitting outside under the colourful fairy lights. The interior has a laid back feel with a Palm Springs, America kinda feel. <br/>Burgers and fries delish! Hard pick to choose what donut you want, but now that I've tried one, need to go back to try the others!
Tash
By far my favourite burger place. Delicious home made buns, juicy parties, cheese and a sauce that's out of this world... what more could you ask for??
YesNoMelbourne
Nice fluffy donuts that are really big !!! <br/>I would've given them 5 stars if they had some filling cause I love donuts with some kind of filling in it so it's worth the money <br/><br/>Want to come back to try their savoury meals but wouldnt come back for the donuts <br/>
Karla Engdahl
The guy at the counter danced lots and it was great. The burgers were juicy and tasty and also great. Fries; perfect. Quirky little place, will be back for chicken and donuts. The donut selection was limited as it was the end of the day, so probably better to get in before the late afternoon...
The Critic's Critic
With a different quirky menu, this place offers 'food truck' food in a cosy setting. The highlight is the Burger. It's full of uber pickups, good tunes, and they do have donuts.. all day.
St!nger
This place doesn't have a big menu, but the food they do have is really great.<br/>The donoughts are big and fluffy without being to doughy and the flavours are plentiful.<br/>The fried chicken is juicy with a little spice, I recommend getting the horseradish mayo. They chicken comes with a bread roll that tastes fresh out of the oven and gravy yum.<br/>However the best thing on the menu is the cheeseburger. I've had many burgers from many places and I must say this is almost the best. Juicy, succulent and all round amazing. It is a must try!
Sidonie
Food was good however the priority of food delivery services over in store diners is really bad. Waited over half an hour for a burger. I would recommend eating before you come here. Or just not dining in at all and just getting delivery.
The Frugal Cats
We absolutely loved Juanita Peaches! Definitely one of the best burgers in town. We had the chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger. Both were amazing! We added the spicy sauce provided at the table to the chicken sandwich for an extra kick. The fries were really nice and crunchy. We also had the housemade lemonade and the chocolate milkshake, which wasn't overly sweet unlike most places. And the doughnuts are a must try! We had the coffee glazed doughnut, with passion fruit curd and chocolate rubble. We will definitely be back to satisfy our next burger and doughnut fix. Overall, highly recommended :3
Filip Sali
Almost perfect burger, the rib eye patties is the best I have had in MELBOURNE, great cheese and bun. I added lettuce to the double cheese burger, the only element missing was a special sauce. Definitely coming back here I would rate in the top five burgers in Melbourne.
Martin Y
Definitely the best burger in town! Ā I've tried quite a few burger joints and this has definitely been the one to hit the spot. Ā The blend of meat and the seasoning in the patties was just right. Ā In addition, they also have some pretty tasty donuts. Ā Their donuts are light and airy (how I prefer my yeasted donuts). Ā If you're a Home Simpson fan, you'll want to grab their Don Homer.<br/><br/>A great place to go after post climbing nourishments!
Hello. Imnikki
Dropped in for an early dinner and the first thing that the lone fellow working the floor said was "I hope you're not here for doughnuts because we sold out of them around 30 minutes ago". Even though my main purpose of visit was for the fried chicken, can't say I wasn't disappointed that I couldn't indulge in some doughnuts after. Oh well, back to ordering dinner then. We shared a burger and a chicken dinner box between us, and it was just the perfect amount of food. We polished everything off without feeling like we were about to burst. The soft and fluffy potato bun was the highlight of the burger, lending a different flavour that normal bread lacks. The juicy beef patty was full of flavour, with a subtle peppery aftertaste. I would however prefer it less well-done but that's just a personal preference. Overall a great burger that you would expect from the brains behind Beatbox Kitchen. The fried chicken fared exceptionally well too. Just like the beer, the moist and succulent chicken pieces were beautifully marinaded and the spices shown through with each bite. The dinner roll, just like the potato bun, was a fluffy cloud of deliciousness. The simple but tasty gravy found a fan in my partner - he was dipping them with not just the dinner roll, but also the fries and chicken in them. An awesome meal in a wonderfully quirky environment (loving the stereo in the bathroom) and a big thumbs up for the sign at the door that states "immigrants and refugees are welcome here"

The food at Juanita Peaches was so amazing I could just kill myself!
Finger Lickin
There's a burger craze going on in Melbourne at the moment and this place is definitely part of that craze. The burgers here pack a punch that can match it with the best of them. The potato bun is different nuts tastes really good. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and had good seasoning. All in all a great experience

šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚We have chicken Sandwich every week, but this week is very disappointing. Ordered UberEATS and received the sandwich with burned bun. šŸ˜®Chef, are you really happy with the food delivered to your customer?
Jjaass
This place is pretty lo-fi, short concise menu ,simple drinks list. Around $20 youget a cheeseburger and fries which is getting up there in cost. After a little wait, the burger arrives. Good meat patty, confit onions , potato bread bun , pickles and shoe string fries. A bit smaller than other burger joints in the neighborhood ,the flavors are pretty good. My partners fried chicken was pretty tasty as well. Lucky us that live in this part of town. I would recommend

I ordered the charred broccoli and kale salad for lunch. Despite being listed as a side it is large enough and flavoursome enough to be its own dish! The char flavour was beautiful, the almonds crunchy, the dressing was simple but tied it all together.<br/><br/>My partner wasn't particularly impressed by the fried chicken, he said the coating wasn't very flavourful. He ordered the BBQ sauce with it which I tried and can recommend. <br/><br/>The donuts of course are always amazing (see 'All Day Donuts' for more info on them).
Thechickenscene
This place has been on our radar for a long time now. It boasts some highly raved about Melbourne Fried Chicken and we finally managed to make a visit to it with our good friends!. We were delighted to find fish tacos on the menu, one of The Chickā€™s most loved types of tacos. Having four of us there we decided to go with the special Fish Tacos and the Fried Chicken Cookout Box. The box consisted of 9 pieces of fried chicken, popcorn chicken with pickles, a ton of fries, coleslaw and various different sauces
Beau James
A good local place!Ā <br/><br/>Few thoughts:<br/><br/>- Chicken sandwich is number one on the menu for sure<br/>- Go the strawberry cheesecake donut if it's in stock
Derekandroll
Good burgers<br/>Good brew<br/>Good space<br/>One of the better burger places in the area, and that's a big call given how inundated Brunswick/Coburg is with burger spots.<br/><br/>Nice space to kick back outside of the sun is out as well....given you can get a spot.
Donutsam
I havenā€™t spent nearly as much time as I would have liked in the Brunswick food scene, and my first taste (literally) of the area was over at Juanita Peaches. Itā€™s an awesome little venue and the burgers are worth the trek over for sure. Juanita PeachesĀ came highly recommended to me from one of my burger friends and I ordered exactly as instructed, although with one substitute in the sauce. I love friendly and conversational staff which they most have here and the venue had a great vibe to boot. And it wasnā€™t long ā€™til my Fried Chicken Sandwich ($15) with slaw, boss sauce, and fries arrived to the table.
Catticus Corsairius
Eggplant burger is easily the best vegetarian burger I've ever tasted. Possibly the best burger all-round. Staff are super lovely and interiors are fantastic.
Curlsgurl
Yum, yum, YUM!<br/>We loved our fried chicken and salads (brocolli salad is amazing). Simple fit out with a great vibe. Engaging staff and a small but excellent selection of wine. Great experience all round.
Favourite Flavour Vanilla
This was a consistent dining option before UberEATS despite living two tram rides away! The cheeseburgers from the bun to the centre of the perfectly grilled patty are made with love and the donuts rival their more expensive counterparts around town.. from what I hear the fried chicken is tender crisp too.. I just can't resist their cheeseburger!
NancyGarden
The eggplant sandwich is the best vegetarian burger ever. I am seriously addicted to it. Also, the staff are lovely, great music, and good atmosphere.
Ej
If I'm giving All Day Donuts a 5 it's only right i give its sister a 5 too. <br/><br/>Oh boy that fried chicken sandwich though!! Although you can't see me right now I am giving this sandwich a standing ovation because it deserves it. An opening and closing ceremony should be put on for this sandwich once a day because it's such a star. Of course the sandwich didn't do it all on it's own - the french fries are also to thank for being involved as well as the boss sauce that comes with it. Take a bow you sexy thing you. <br/><br/>Yet to try the cheese burger but have heard shining reviews. <br/><br/>If my waist line would allow for it I could potentially eat this everyday. But as obesity is a growing problem in our day and age I guess I should only have this once and awhile.
Fiona
Well geez Raph, you&#039;ve bloody gone and done it again - nailed a vegetarian burger. The eggplant sandwich is absolutely delicious and not a piss-poor veggie pattie in sight! My only recommendation is getting it with lettuce and tomato and forgo the coleslaw - it just takes away from the panko crust. <br/><br/>At $15 (albeit with a small fries) yes it is expensive, but it&#039;s also damn tasty and I don&#039;t know what their overheads are like. It&#039;s also not comparable to anywhere else in the area so it&#039;s a price I&#039;m willing pay. Wish they had more veg options (Mac n cheese croquette burger anyone?) but hey, I can&#039;t complain. <br/><br/>Also venue is awesome and babes behind the counter are helpful and friendly.

The best delivery cheeseburger I have ever eaten. Probably one of the top three cheeseburgers I've ever eaten- AND delivered. I die. The best.

Popped the Ć¼ber eats cherry with a fried chicken burger and chips. Prompt delivery and nicely packaged. A glossy bun with juicy and tender chicken, unfortunately the coleslaw had made the bun a bit soggy and the chips were cold but I still enjoyed the burger. Happy times.

Juanita peaches. great little American style burger place, with added doughnuts. Burgers are excellent and the portion size is just right. Popcorn chicken was a great paired nicely with a bbq sauce and pickle. Staff were also very friendly.

The donut choices vary daily and dependant solely on the desires of the pastry chef so you don't get advanced warning of the deliciousness forthcoming (frustrating!)<br/><br/>Tuesday winter gives us the warmth of chile night and to satisfy the pasta fiends, the offer extends to Mac 'n Cheese as well, for $12 per person, it's a great deal. <br/><br/>The donuts are HUGE but I find when getting them to satisfy a night sugar craving that they are quite dry by this time, so keep it as a AM only option. <br/><br/>Cool casual eating in Brunswick.

Such an amazing place. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the burgers are mouth watering and the vibe of the place is so sick. They also now have options for vegetarians which taste incredible! Would definitely recommend giving this place a go. <br/><br/>Oh - and they also make donuts! Yay šŸ©

Hands down the BEST Burger's we have eaten in Australia. The vegetarian option is on point, the perfect combination of flavours. The slaw was the bomb. The beef was juicy, and the fried onions were addictive. Plenty of fries and the chicken was exceptional, so crunchy and tender. Everything was FULL of flavour. So happy it's our local. Hallelujah

According to the waitress, Juanita Peaches was the 'baby' of Beatbox kitchen and Taco truck, as it was owned by the couple who owns said food trucks. They make everything there, from bread to donuts to even their lemonade. They're also looking forward to launching a breakfast/brunch menu and making some specials permanent so do put this on your bookmarks. I was kindly informed all this info by the waitress who was prompt and very reliable.<br/><br/>Onto the food. On order; burger with fries, chicken sandwich with fries, 2 pieces of fried chicken, a strawberry donut, and a lemonade. Total of $47.<br/><br/>Burger wasn't bad. The bread held well, it was juicy, and the pickles provided a sweet and sour crunch. My biggest concern was the cheese, it was melted to the bread instead of the patty. No complaints though, to be honest I nearly finished it before I could actually savour it. Might have to try a double patty with double cheese next time.<br/><br/>Chicken sanga was good, nice crunch, juicy chicken, slaw wasn't to bad. Same could be said about the fried chicken, we ordered 2 but got 3 since it was our first visit :)<br/><br/>I think all customers who come here are immediately tempted by the donuts as it stands right next to the counter. Well......I fell for it too. Ordered the strawberry cheesecake donut which I just inhaled within seconds.<br/><br/>Soooooo verdict of 4.5 sounds about right, since I will definitely be back.

Cute little hidden diner in the backstreets on Brunswick. The staff are friendly and the meals are all generally under $20 which is a rarity these days. I had the beef rib mole plate which was delicious and a friend had the fried chicken sandwich which she really enjoyed. Next time I'll try their beef burgers as the dude was telling me they bake their own bread. Good spot for casual catch up with friends.

The burger ($12) was a 120g grass fed beef affair, housed in a brioche bun, with double cheese, onion, mustard and pickles. My only fault with this was the excessive onion (which meant I couldnā€™t have more than a couple of little bites), which is no fault of the burger, but of my own stomachā€™s inability to handle fructose. Otherwise, fantastic cheeseburger. Perfectly seasoned patty, buttery delicious brioche bun, lots of tangy pickles, and all of the melty, molten cheese.

Visited here the other night. As a vego, i don't have many options when it comes to burgers and was irked by the fact that there was only one choice. But I would happily eat their eggplant burger every single day for the rest of my life! Absolutely delicious! With good wines to match and the service was top notch. Will return.

Iā€™ll have to admit I havenā€™t had any of the food at any of the three instalments before Juanita Peaches, but it might be time to change that. Southern-style fried chicken with a delightful batter, crispy but not overly heavy or oily. The chicken was juicy, tender, zesty with a hum of spice. Life complete.

Had the cheese burger - great beef, really nicely cooked - fantastic bun - friendly service. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

The fried chicken burger was a good size, crunchy and tender! Although, I wasn't a fan of the tomato sauce in the burger, but that's a matter of opinion. This isn't my favourite fried chicken burger (8bit), but it wasn't bad! The price was $12, which isn't that expensive if you consider how much fried chicken burgers would cost at restaurants, and the burger was good quality so I wasn't too bothered about the price.

I came here with a significant quandary: a fried chicken adventure at a place that also sells a beef burger. Not just any burger, but an acclaimed number that recently scored the #3 spot in a well known top 10. More importantly, I am yet to try this burger! And it does look like a fine burger. But, alas this was a fried chicken night and I stuck with the plan.

Amazing american style cheeseburger. Freakin delishhhh šŸ‘Œ bbq sauce is smokey goodness and $7 for a boutique beer is pretty good too. Rate it.

I had never heard of this place until my friend told me to go. I was sold by the promise of burgers and donuts (as All Day Donuts is also located here). <br/><br/>I didn't particulary like the layout of the inside dinning area, and the stools were rather uncomfortable, but that's the only bad thing I will say.<br/><br/>I had the fried chicken sandwich with slaw, mayo, and boss sauce. I also added some hot sauce which was available at each table. This burger was excellent! Very succulent chicken, and great flavours. Really enjoyed it.<br/><br/>I also got a donut which was amazing, and a great coffee. Having all of these things in the on little shop is a great idea. Highly recommend trying.

Absolutely yummy! Great batter, juicy chicken, delish sauces. Had the fried chicken sandwich and 2 pc box, will definitely be back for more. Got a couple of donuts and coffee to take away too which were also great!

Great little spot just off Sydney road. The fried chicken is to die for but you`ve gotta try everything on the menu and leave some room for the Donuts.

Brunswickā€™s favourite little donut shop transforms overnight on Thursdays to Sundayā€™s into Juanita Peaches, an equally awesome dinner retreat. Not only can you get donuts and tacos (in food truck form) from the same locale, but fried chicken too? Well we were sold and visited the unassuming shop on Edward at as soon as we could. Nothing changes besides the menu, youā€™ll still find yourself inside raw brick walls with simple furnishings and touches of pink. You can see through the counter to the small kitchen and out the back to where the taco trucks are housed.Ā Ā Thereā€™s a certain romance about a good fried chicken, itā€™s everything wonderful, crispy, salty, indulgent, but itā€™s not the only thing you can get from Jaunita Peaches. There are also refreshing beverages and burritos on offer, letā€™s face it though ā€“ I was there for the chicken. Also maybe the donuts, but mostly the chicken.Ā Juanita Peaches fried chicken is everything we could hope for. Itā€™s light, crispy and tender without being overly greasy and is served with well seasoned shoestring fries. Thereā€™s also a punchy pickle, coleslaw and a selection of sauces to choose from ā€“ we went with the honey mustard.

If you see Yotam Ottolenghi eating at a place, you'd best go there and eat that place's stuff. The chicken isn't oily like most fried chicken...they something that looks like a ufo and a birdcage that they do their chicken in. Jucy, not oily - delicious - my girlfriend had their Chimachanga and said it was amazing.
Long Lunch
Went to Juanita Peaches with the family last night and loved it. True casual dining and easy to eat without the crappy fast food feel. The only place I have had better fried chicken than this has been in West Seattle. The anytime get a whole bird make things simple as everyone in the family gets what the want without fuss of argument. The shoestring friends are delicious and the serving generous and the sauces delicious. A free slaw was thrown in which was fresh and tasty and the seldom sauces meant we could vary it to the different tastes at the table. Kids got donuts for dessert and daddy got beer so everyone was happy. The service was friendly and efficient but full table service would lift the experience another notch. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
Brickparty
Tasty and juicy chicken. Nice fresh salad that it comes with. Great sauce options. Would have liked more chips though. Small place but was quiet when I went so got a table easily.

First review! A hip store that sells donuts during the day and transforms into a fried chicken store at night. <br/><br/>Fried chicken was crispy, juicy and flavoursome. Great place to hang out with mates at night and groove to the beats.
