People complaining about small portion sizes in the banquet must have gone somewhere else… the food was delicious and there was so much of it we had to take some home. Beautiful, authentic Lebanese food with friendly service. A must try!

A spur of the moment dinner with no thought or expectations of what cuisine we wanted so we tried Mankoushe Lebanese restaurant in Brunswick on a cold wet Sunday evening for dinner. On arrival, the restaurant was empty the decor sparse the tables and chairs basic. Not much atmosphere. Service was attentive. The menu was good and concise as was their drinks menu. The food is the saviour, I had the lamb kibbe on yoghurt and cucumber salad and we shared a pide with grilled grapes and baked eggplant which was delicious, the cos salad was drowned in dressing and somewhat limp but the flavour was present. It's a little pricey but the food was good

I particularly find this restaurant is very expensive. The serving does not justify the price tag. I ordered chicken kebab. It carries an authentic flavour and aroma however before I can savour them it came to an end. The pieces were too small and felt that inflation has hit this particular restaurant very badly that their chicken is malnourished. The kebabs I had eaten at COBURG are more juicy and tasty than this. I felt I should have brought my Lilydale Free Range chicken and ask the chef to cook it. In comparison to Alyssa restaurant in Sydney Rd, this is over priced. I suggest you should go to Alyssa than here.

Banquet was a big miss, poorly cooked meat that was essentially charcoal. Two small dishes of each course between 7 people. A table of 2 near us had a whole serve. You do the math... $350 for maybe half a plate of really average food each. The best bit was the tiny piece of bread and dips we got at the start. Really disappointed. Could have cooked that ammount food at home for under $80. Banquet was an absolute rip off. I Usually give benefit of the doubt but this was just too bad of an experience. ****edit*** we didnt recieve any pizza, last dish was chickpeas Theres no 2 ways about it, the servings were small. There should have been 3 serves of each instead of 2 so we disnt have to cut everything into small qarters. would have been happy to pay a little more. We all left hungry. Sorry. Staff were nice and good atmosphere but really let down by the banquet. Perhaps if we ordered our own things it could have been better. A banquet is a banquet, not a taster menu. For $55 a head you should be full when you leave.

I love eating at this pkace, if you look for delicious food, meddle eastern & palestInian dishes Meenu, and different every time. This is the pkace for you. It feels cosy and warm, very friendly staf, dishes are prepared with care and love.... It's really feel like home made food..... I just love it espcially the zaatar pies. Very Yammy 👍👍... Well Done guys

Amazing food and flavours, great vibe and owner is super friendly :) Fresh, authentic honest food.. Can't wait to come here again so I can try everything else on the menu!! So sad it took me this long to come here!

Delicious delicious food. Wonderful flavours and spice. The cafe is super cute and is a nice place for lunch.

Amazing! credit where credit is due. it's a casual restaurant with tasty and well executed dishes. Ordered the banquet with the barramundi and wow. I will definately be back.
