Great toasties and coffee, very nice chilled atmosphere and friendly stuff. Loved it!

Great service. Hot looking waiter. My sister can’t eat bacon and the waiter put in extra effort to give us other substitution with no extra cost. He makes great hot chocolate. Reasonable price with a touch of love & attention.

Best toasted sandwich I've ever had. Maybe I was hungry. Maybe it was just that good! Very friendly and good service. Outdoor seating on the street as well as out the back. Highly recommended. Sorry - no photography as I was too keen to keep munching it!

I like this place. The smothies are really good and the food as well. It is quiet small and it only have one bathroom at the back so you'll probably have to wait a bit to use it. The place is busy on weekends. The coffee is good and they have coconut milk which is great, not everyome has it.

Came back for a second flat white Sunday morning after having a wonderful Saturday breakfast in the narrow courtyard out the back. Delicious food prepared and presented beautifully. Coconut sugar on the table, chilled sound track - table 2 is underneath a speaker! Brilliant barista coffee. Yummy! What a gorgeous little gem in Brunswick! Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in to try the $10 toasties and despite it being very cheap it was very disappointing. I had the haloumi, beetroot and caramelised onion on gluten free bread. It was almost entirely grated beetroot with a few tiny bits of grated haloumi mixed through, I assume there was also some onion mixed through the beetroot as well however the beetroot is all you can taste. My friend enjoyed the avocado toastie, considering the price of avocado this was very good value. Waitstaff are lovely and friendly but service is extremely slow. The space is pretty cramped and the bench seating isn't quite at the right height for the table leaving it feeling pretty awkward to eat at.

Recommend: Chilli scrambled eggs and Vegie stack. Coffee is good! They have Proud Mary Humbler blend coffee (one of my favourites) and a range of plant-based milks. Service with a smile.

Food is colourful, delicious and healthy! Cute little place with excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. The dreadlocked waiter is defintely a massive babe, as is the owner (total babe) which is always a bonus!

Just popped in for a cappuccino and found it too watery with the wrong ratios of milk to coffee. Oh well, back to the supermarket!

Great friendly service with a smile.
Enjoying my delicious coffee in a cute comfy surround. Oh, and loving the toasties. Awesome start to my day.

Great coffee, very friendly and attentive staff & toasties that hit the spot on a chilly Melbourne winter morning ideally located on Sydney Rd Brunswick.

Disappointed that it’s not The Green Refectory pop up anymore. I got The morning stack 2.0 which is similar to the big breakfast that The Green Refectory pop up had, only the portion size is smaller and if you’re vegetarian/vegan, replacing meat/dairy items costs more. I asked to replace bacon and chorizo with avocado and mushrooms and it cost me $10 extra where The Green Refectory charged no extra for such changes. The menu at Wilson Nook also says they accommodate vegetarian/vegan customers but fail to mention they’ll be charged extra. The morning stack 2.0 is $18 but to make a vegetarian variation costs $28. For a location like Brunswick, I think this is pretty poor for a cafe to charge extra for such changes. Sad to say I won’t go back there but lucky there’s another Green Refectory just a short distance up Sydney Road

I had brekkie balsamic mushrooms with potato hash, absolutely amazing every bite was sensational. Second time I’ve visited and just as good. Great decor and wonderful staff. A Brunswick gem!!!

Wilson Nook, formally known as The Green Refractory's little pop up is pretty much identical to it’s big brother Greens down the street serving up large hearty meals at a dirt cheap price. The small interior is humble in nature and although narrow it easily accommodates for plenty of students soaking up the free wifi and cheap feeds.

Being a Brunswick local I know Greens all to well and when I noted the absence of the pop up and the birth of Wilson Nook the curiosity got the better of me so I popped in for a look. Greeted by the always overly friendly and super chilled waiter and snagged a spot on the stool seating across from the counter eyeing of there mouthwatering house made pastries and sweet treats. I glanced at the menu which I know for sure I will be ordering off upon my return but for today I settled for a classic sausage roll and cappuccino.

The sausage roll served with tomato chutney was flavoursome and packed full of tender, juicy filling. The flaky butter pastry was brought to life when dipped into the sweet chunky tomato chutney. The cappuccino was equally as enjoyable, nice and frothy with a perfect creamy texture. Before I left I grabbed my usual takeaway long black which was very impressive certainly better than what I have had at Greens before. The brew was strong and hot with fruity undertones and a lovely bite of acidity.

Wilson Nook is a classic Brunswick homestyle cafe delivering great coffee and basic yet filling food in a relaxing minimalistic setting. The menu is appealing and its safe to say I will certainly be returning.

Don’t order Baked eggs, over cooked and no taste; I went to order first but they asked me to go back and sit so they will take the order after couple of minutes, they came to me and asked to pay near the counter. Over all a bad experience with customer service and I don’t even want to talk about the food.

This is an absolute favourite of mine in the Brunswick area. After coming a few times for brekky this is my go-too. The portions are huge, perfect after a big night out. The staff are attentive and for under $20 the big breakfast is something you can't go past.
Great coffee, vibes and food.
