Review Wilbur's Cafe - Brunswick

Coffee is good and well priced with a great barista. Customer service is poor and fairly rude. There’s just no need to roll your eyes at customers multiple times with unreasonable attitude.

Great coffee & food. Well priced & friendly staff.

Looks can be deceiving but don’t be fooled - this cafe has a quiet front but some of the best coffee in the area and open at 6am makes it an absolute charm. Cheery barista and a good selection of food!

I struggled through a chicken pumpkin sesame sead with rice dish at 2pm. I love over flavoured food but this dish was full on!! And the rice had dried up so much that it was solid crunchy! Never again. Alot of people coming in for coffee tho.

Only had the coffee and it was perfect. But noticed the food looks yummy and that comes highly recommended by my husband who eats there.

Stopped by for a quick bite the other day as it was on the way. I found the food to be very average and totally overpriced. Won't be going back.

Stop in a grab coffee and a snack whenever I go and visit a friend in a nearby street. Wish it was open weekends as I often miss out if I don't go during the week and have to walk all the way up to Grantham for coffee. This place is simple and authentic. The food is yummy and I have found the guy behind the counter (the owner?) to be most helpful when it comes to my many food allergies. He always tries to figure out a snack for me - which really says a lot about his character. I recommend if you like good solid service from a genuine and heartfelt establishment!

I walked pass this cafe at an early morning, eager for some caffeine. The painting outside the cafe got my attention for sure! I walked in with a few local students. While I was waiting for the students to order, I had a look at my surrounding. The cafe has very basic things, simple and straightforward. There were no pretentious decorations. An honest cafe.

I only tried their coffee though. The coffee was nice, good temperature, rough and simple. I quite like this cafe because of its simplicity. The staff there were nice too. It made a morning start more pleasant.

An understated gem. As an early riser we've been looking around for a place to get a good coffee at 6.00 am. We have been using Wilbur's Café for the last 4 weeks and everyday I've had consistently good service and most importantly great coffee.

Haven't tried the food yet .. apart from the odd slice of raisin toast ... which was good.

Not your run of the mill Brunswick café .... they seem to be focusing on the basics and doing them consistently well... which makes a pleasant change!

Incredibly Delicious. Gourmet quality food. Absolutely delicious. Ravioli better than in Italian restaurants and shepards pie... best I've had :D highly recommend!!!

Great Coffee, new blend, very friendly Staff. I had only been at WILBUR'S twice before, as soon as i walked in, Damian, Owner and Barista, had my skinny Caffelatte ready, he explained that he remembers what the regulars have, he doesn't want his customers to have to wait, so as he sees you coming, he starts making your coffee straight away. What a great old fashioned service!! Damian always has time for a quick chat, no matter how busy he is, which makes you feel like a valued customer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Gio

Great coffee and good option for kids, such as party pies, mini sausage rolls and fruit salad. Good quality, freshly cooked take away food.
