Review The Long And Short - Brunswick

8/10 $4.00 latte, good coffee beans, great for a quick pitstop not to dine in. Looks rough, minutely in size, but easily one of the best latte at $4.00 around here, never judge a book by its cover. .

One of thier baristas makes the best almond flatwhite ever! But unfortunately, I can't have it regularly. There is often closed, I'll visit there again and again though.

Been coming here for 2 years now. The best and most consistent coffee I've had in Melbourne. Now he's offering up bagels, very tasty and reasonably priced. Love. This. Place. Primo service :)

The Long and the Short is my favourite coffee place in Brunswick. Depending on my day, I sometimes stay for a chat or just grab a takeaway coffee. Lunch is great too, always something new to try!

Do not get the hype/all these good reviews. Coffee was nice, but menu very limited. Kitchen is super small and dingy. There was nowhere to sit, the place is very little and cramped and every surface was covered with stacks of Beat magazine. Not impressed.

Amazing coffee, amazing service. Of all the places in Brunswick this is the one I'll keep coming back to.

Brunswick certainly isn't short on places to grab a takeaway coffee from, but not all of them are good. That's why I was pleasantly surprised to find Dojo Espresso, a tiny place pumping out excellent coffee in a side street off of busy Sydney Road.

The barista was really friendly and he definitely knows his stuff. There were several other people waiting for takeaways so that's always a good sign when the locals are lining up. There is also a small range of sandwiches and pastries available, but for today, my coffee hit the spot. Great work from a humble little place that has coffee with big flavour.

Coffee is cheap, there's pride taken in making it, and it's a good cup of Joe to boot. It's not the best coffee in Brunswick but it's pretty close. If anything, it's Victoria Street's better coffee house!

For the last 25 years or so I consume approximately 4- 6 espresso's a day. This habit has not been great for my teeth btw. I have enjoyed this tasty hot beverage before all you hipsters where born.

This cafe produces consistently the second best espresso I have ever drunk. Only second behind mine off course. The owner is a charming bloke. The barista's here have high standards. I have seen them throw a coffee away and start again rather than serve if it's not spot on.

Shame this joint is not closer to my house. Ok, I admit it, it's better than my espresso at home !

Great spot for a coffee and a chat while watching the world pass by. Coffees always a high standard and there's a lot to offer from such a small spot.

Best coffee in Melbourne. And it gets better than that... it is just excellent coffee full stop. NO " each individual cup made bespokely made for you".

Truly tasty, balanced, delicious coffee- one of the best in Bruswick. The Florentines are everything you want a Florentine to be. Highly recommend.

Best coffee in Brunswick, homemade almond milk and awesome friendly service!

By far the best long black coffee I know of in Brunswick, and I'm a fussy bugger.. I wish they did food - I'd be here every day, but the shop's too small so it aint an option.
I can go here when I'm not too lazy to make breakfast.

Amazing coffee. This place has THE best coffee in Brunswick. It's also reasonably priced. I know it's a big claim but if you don't believe me try it for yourself!

The Long and the Short is part of the ever growing trend of micro coffee cafés in Melbourne. Blink and you'll miss it as you cruise along Victoria Street, but don't... the coffee served up here by the x chef owner is very, very good. Highly recommended
