This is my go-to place for quick take away Japanese. My son and I eat here very regularly. It's always been consistent. Sure, it's not fine dining but it doesn't pretend to be! It's cheap and quick and tasty. Perfect for a quick lunch break or pick up a lazy dinner when out doing the shopping at Barkley Square. And the girls behind the counter are always just so sweet and lovely! What's not to love?
Great value for money. Incredibly good tasting food and very filling. The staff are fantastic. I visit daily and have never been disappointed. I recommend this place 100%
A great place to eat without having to spend too much! I ordered Okonomiyaki and Yasai Don.
The Okonomiyaki did not seem like it was made to order, but it actually was a lot better than some of the Okonomiyaki that I've had at fancy japanese restaraunts. For the cheap cost, i'd say it was definitely worth it. The Yasai don was great, though not a large variety in the vegetables, but nonetheless was enjoyable to eat. Would love to try the other dishes!
A real find - tasty noodles at reasonable prices, with a great outside seating area. Had great fresh and crispy tempura and salt and pepper chicken. Always friendly service.
Solid Chinese fare, at a reasonable price. I've eaten here a few times now, and it's always been good quality.
Combination noodles are great, with the perfect crunch on the dried noodles under the mixture of meats and vegetables. Sliced pork in egg noodle soup was stellar, perfectly cooked pork and just the right ratio of noodles to broth.
I did have an issue where part of my order was sent to another table (who rudely just accepted it without alerting the staff), however upon letting them know I hadn't gotten the dumplings, fresh ones were gotten straight out of the steamer and popped onto a fresh plate for me.
Clean, tasty, and walking distance from home... definitely a winner for when those MSG cravings hit!
First time I ever had duck pancakes and I really enjoyed them. Nothing to complicated about this restaurant. Clean decor and quick service.
Had prawn dumplings and wonton noodles. Pretty tasty prawn dumplings, nice translucent skin and crunchy filling. Noodle soup was flavoursome, though the wontons were a bit small.
The staff were super friendly and so polite.
I walked past here a lot and didn't think much of it but it's really great for the prices. Pork buns, the egg noodle soups and honey chicken is as it should be!
Clean and honest food. Great value. Clean eatery and efficient service. Great assortment of dishes, and the duck soupand duck pancakes are excellent .

Fast and friendly service. Clean environment and cheap prices. All in all, pretty good.
Great place to park for when you want to spend some time in Brunswick. Nice and clean facilities! Everything you could want grocery shopping wise.
My youngest daughter moved to Brunswick to live. So we are helping by shopping, etc. Wow! Barkly Square ticks the boxes for a terrific local shopping centre. It's got the Major stores, and the gourmet food stores, and the coffee shops, the restaurants covering all tastes, and all within the Sydney Road shopping precinct, near Brunswick Street. 10/10
Good place to pop into if your in need of anything. Supermarket, Kmart, lord of the fries and a Macca's alongside many other stores. Fresh food market if the main grocery stores aren't your thing. EB games and doggy friendly, they have a park your pooch container if you want to spend longer than anticipated there. Also the entire place has free WiFi. Over all a nice nook to get your basics and relax before heading off again.
A decent medium sized shopping centre. It has your basics covered and some smaller speciality stores here although it's probably lacking in some good places to eat inside the shopping centre itself, if you want to look elsewhere, you have to venture outside somewhere to your liking.
Nice and clean mall, and the most important thing is there's plenty of parking spaces. Truly a nice place.
The best part about this shopping center is that you can always find a park. Makes it stress free.
Not a bad shopping centre but beware shopping at Coles on the weekend. It is hellishly busy and it's a stressful experience.
The middle of the centre has some nice, low priced restaurants.
There's also an outdoor movie screen which occasionally show movies.
