Review Biryani House - Brunswick

We found this place unintentionally walking on Sydney road and so glad we found it! Delicious, authentic biryani and such beautiful service! We met the chef and she was so lovely too. Cant wait to come back and try more dishes! Seriously, must try.

The most horrible restaurant you will ever come across in Melbourne. Below standards in terms of food quality, hygiene and customer experience. There is no waiter/ waitress on the floor - instead they go in the kitchen and do not arrive until they get the food, if you want any service the only way to call them is by calling them out loudly. The most unethical, rude and disrespectful chef and staff I have ever come across. Even if this is the last place open for food, still don’t visit and waste your money. There were bunch of waste papers and boxes also kept on the dining table sofa. Even though the menu has lot of varieties listed on it but they serve only biryani nothing else.

I dont know why there are so many negative reviews, the biryani is just perfect hyderabadi style and has its flavour in each bite. Its fresh and authentic. Especially the chicken and egg biryani i just love them. Will always recommend anyone who is looking for traditional biryani.

Ordered two Biryani takeaway boxes. No flavour or whatsoever that resembles biryani. It was almost a plain rice slow cooked with chicken. Ingredients that usually goes with hyderabadi dum biryani was missing. We just managed to complete a box and sadly dumped the next one in the bin. Note im from south india and well aware of different type of briyanis.

I dont think there is any place is Melbourne which has the taste of biryani to my satisfaction. But this one does. Perfectly cooked and. The chicken 65 is very good. I would definitely recommend 100%

We visited this lovely restaurant last week. The food did take a while to be prepared but it was well worth the wait. It was clear the food was freshly made and tested absolutely delicious, just like home made! The service was friendly and polite. Will be eating here again.

My husband and I found this place recently when looking for takeaway Indian. The biryani is exceptional, no food coloring just real flavour. We ordered goat and the egg biryani (I don't eat meat, he does) plus some palak paneer and raita, everything was delicious and fresh, the portions were generous too. Lots of paneer in the gravy and the raita was savoury, not sweet (I find the sweet version revolting so was thrilled 😂)

Unprofessional staff serviced biryani from past 3 days and naan are not fresh serviced reheated management agreed when I questioned them. Highly not recommend!!!!!! Owner asks all the customers to give good reviews in google to get free dessert
