Review Eat Street Melbourne - Brunswick

Ordered at this place via uber eats. Got a few HSPs, biryani and pizza. They kindly gave us a free sunkist drink with our order. Biryani was really tasty, albeit a bit spicy. HSPs were a bit cold but I think it was due to the distance to my location. Pizza was delicious. Will definitely order again. They seem like lovely people.

Imagine getting served with this pizza after spending 19$. The worst experience i ever had so far in my life, when i picked the pizza slice, the oil was tipping from slices. I have already attached the proof, I recommend that no one should buy such gross pizza. Thanks for ruining my night.

Ordered a Supreme Pizza and it's the worst pizza I've ever had. Didn't even get to taste it because they completely messed up the order then proceeded to lie about 'making me a new pizza' after I refused to take it. Upon confronting manager about lying he started arguing with me after which I left. Safe to say I won't be going back again. Bad managment and even worse health standards !!

My HSP was okay but my friends orders were a mess. The pizza took over 40min to make with us being the only customers and the kebab was exchanged because the first one had BBQ sauce for some reason when they asked for garlic. Wouldn't recommend unless you're desperate for a feed.

Not only did our pizza take 40 MINUTES, it was made with TASTY CHEESE.... so gross. Ordered a kebab which they messed up twice.. first gave me BBQ sauce when I asked for Garlic, then gave me onion when I asked for without. Granted, they refunded my pizza which I'm thankful for, but I wouldn't eat here again.

Got a pizza at 12:30 am. Mexicana large. Possibly the worst pizza I've ever had I'm may life... Zero toppings. Zero quality. Taste like trash. Cannot express how bad it was... Feels like eating it took a year off my life... Home boy in the back smelling every ingredient to see if it's off... More hairs in my pizza than at the local barbers... Madness 🤯

Want this place to be good because have tried to give it a chance many times working late nights it should be a good local option. Went in tonight waited a while for my pizza but like other times they constantly ignore extras even though you pay for them. Constantly undercook/soggy on all menu items including pizza, potato cakes and chips. Also there was mould on the bottom of the pizza dough.

I honestly don't believe that this place comes even close to the best kebab in Brunswick let alone Melbourne. What this place does have is by far the most tolerant and understanding staff in any of the late night eateries I have ever ventured into. I have witnessed on many occasions the staff patiently and tolerantly serve and feed some of the most outrageously and disgustingly sideways people I have ever experienced in my life despite the abuse and lack of comprehension of common decency common in such folk. For that reason I applaud and rate this place above any for service above all others. Well done Eat Streets, you are a the service many berate but that many require, for that I love you.

Went in prior to a friend's birthday to get some food in before booze, wanted a curry but they said they weren't serving it at that time which was a bummer so I went with their Indiana pasta selection (something I'd not heard of before but why not!!) which was actually quite good, will have to come in another time to test out their butter chicken. This restaurant is open until late, which is probably its best feature. Booths are available for groups to congregate here.

The food here is not too shabby, but nothing to write home about. I wish they filled the kebab more - I felt like I was eating more bread than meat. Almost forgot I had vegetables in my kebab.

Come here for a quick and dirty eat to fill your late night cravings.

We came here for late night dinner and was welcomed by a friendly staff.

The wrap was thin and crunchy, the way I like it.

Food is cheap. You get what you pay for. Nothing fancy but it's a nice and cheap late snack close to Barkly Square.

Yes/no? Yes for a cheap, easy feed/if you’re drunk

Came here at like 1am on a Friday and honestly it was just drunk people there
The hsp was nice but it had like spices in it which I think was from the meat

My friend got the biryani which was sweet but nice
Flavours

Overall was nice

I’m lost for words describing this business. Ordered take away for the first time and I’m assuring you it’ll be the last. Food is cheap though, but you certainly get what you pay for. On par with pepperonis in the city; not completely inedible, just take it with a massive grain of salt.

K: Brunswick. The heart of all things restaurant, thrift stores and an overall vibrant area to dine in with family and friends. Today I ventured out on Sydney rd to see what would peak my interest. With a cascade of Indian, Japanese and other delicacies, I had to refrain as I knew these were experiences Emily would not like to miss out on, which brought me to Eat Street. Looking nicer than other similar establishments, I decided to dine in for a good old juicy Kebab.

I ordered the mixed kebab with all the vegies, garlic and sweet chilli sauce. For $10 you really can't go wrong with Kebabs. When it came, I was delighted to see how big it was and immediately went in. The first thing I tasted was the sauces and the bread. As I ate more and more I realised that this was perhaps the only thing I could appreciate or taste. The sauces were very strong (which is a good thing) but the meat just didn't make the cut for me. It was very difficult to distinguish between the meats and the cheese could not be tasted once either. Throughout the meal I found myself not ever nodding my head or anything at all, reminiscing perhaps of a meal that I would not return to.

With that being said there are much better and thicker meat kebabs in Melbourne and unfortunately this one didn't hit the mark. Certainly a place I would not stumble drunkingly upon after a huge night and expect a mad kebab feed.

Food: 2/5
Service: 2/5
Ambience: 2.5/5
Value: 3/5

Overall 2/5

I'm on a potato cake hunt and this place pops up, it's $1.99 price tag beckoned me across the threshold with hopes I'd found a diamond in the rough. maybe a blanched slice of potato, dipped in fresh batter, fried and seasoned with I dunno, truffle salt, saffron and gold flakes. Instead it was the most insipid POS, I felt suitably outraged to write this response over a potato cake. 5 stars for balls, 0 stars for flavour and execution. No Wonder this place was empty.
