I have visited One on Labolsa for the last two years and I have found the food, coffee and staff to be first quality. My favourite dish is the good old fish and chips closely followed by the Thia beef salad which I had last time which was amazing.

From a takeaway coffee for a relaxing sit in the park, to a breakfast or lunch catchup in the cafe itself, One on La Balsa is always a pleasure both in the standard of customer service, value for money and quality of product. Thank you for your consistency in being so great.

Spectacular location. Menu was reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend. Food is just your average cafe food in terms of quality nothing super special.

Back in Qld & had to go back & visit this little Gem. The food is excellent, delicious, great variety at good prices. The staff always greet you with a smile & very friendly. Lovely outdoor area, with umbrellas. Great location near the river inlet, opposite a lovely park & a nice walk overlooking fisherman's wharf. I had a breakfast dish of Mexican beans, poached eggs & lots of delicious things to go with it. The Mayo was sensational. 😋 Thanks again for a lovely meal. Thanks again

Came here for brunch today. Very busy little Cafe located across from the water. Very friendly staff and great food. There are 12-13 tables outside on the deck and downstairs and about 10 or so inside. Prices a d size of plate were reasonable. There was a mix up with my order with somebody else taking my meal and although it wasn't really their fault they were professional, polite and apologetic about it. They gave me a refund also so tha k you very much for that. Overall experience 8.5/10 helped greatly by the staff. I will be back and will recommend

Such fast service! Even when they were busy my drink came out within a few minutes of ordering. Then the meals a few minutes later. Very friendly, reasonably priced and dog friendly even upstairs (not inside of course)

We stopped in here for a midweek brunch. The food was really delicious. The menu was pretty much a classic cafe menu with a few healthier twists, we had the corn cakes, salmon & smashed avocado. There were a lot of juices and smoothies on the menu which was refreshing to see, I chose the Açai frappe which was almost a meal in itself. The only negative is they still use plastic straws! Seriously it’s 2021!

A great Cafe with all day breakfast available which is a really good menu of options. I am only aware of entry to the place using stairs so if special access is required then I would recommend calling ahead to find out options available.
