I'll begin by saying that the chopping block serve good food, so I was very disappointed with my most recent meal. If I'm paying $25 for a steak sandwich, I expect a high level of quality, from the meat to the bread, and everything in-between.

Continually disappointing. Not only have they got our orders wrong on several occasions, the food that was sent to replace it was not good and on one occasion disgusting (how does one mess up a poached egg to that degree!!). i want to support local business, but I will never go back to the Chopping
Good breakfast. Great service. The chef came out and offered to split one pancakes order across out two small kids because the portions were too big for one each. And then refunded the second pancakes!
It took a while for the waitress to acknowledge us. Food was ok. I had a breakfast stack: Halloumi, bacon, eggs, toast, avocado and hollandaise. Nothing bad but nothing you couldn't make at home. Will def have to try something else on the menu next time.
I ordered an affogato here, which tasted fine although the price of it was wrongly listed on the menu. I wasn't impressed with the staff friendliness or the cleanliness of the cafe: half the tables hadn't been cleaned and there were trampled fries on the floor. That said, there's a good looking food
