Been comg here for long time now .
Its good value and best food around.
Vinegar chicken and rotti prattas with curry chicken are a must
Great food at a great price! Make sure you have the stuffed chicken wings and the salt & pepper squid tentacles! :)

i Love there satay beef all their food tastes really good
Curry Chicken rice and nasi lemak is pretty good :)
Loved the food. It reminds me of my home town in Malaysia :)
excellent authentic Chinese-Malay cuisine, and value for money
Bull Creek Hawkers does some of the best food in Perth for a decent price! All of the dishes I've tried here are absolutely amazing. Would recommend the masaman beef curry, kway teow and honey chicken.
Reminds me of being back in Malaysia
Nice food and reasonable prices
Food is good and reasonable pricing as well. You get what you pay for. Good for takeaway or dine in during the week. Only downside is having to pay cash.
My family has been here eating for more than 8 years. The waitresses and cashiers are very kind and efficient. Food especially roast duck noodle dry , Japanese Tau Foo , seafood claypot with roast pork are awesome. But there are many others , more than 80% in the menu are being very Malaysian and tasty. I would want to rate a 4.5 just being thinking that no body is perfect. May be seatings are a bit crowded. But ,anyway, 4.0 is a bit low. It deserves a 5.
Service is good. I ordered fish head mee hoon soup. The fish Wings are very fresh. Mee hoon soup is nice and fresh too. It is very good. Serving is big. One bowl shared with 2 person.
The lovely staff accommodated our group of 9 on a busy Friday night making us feel so welcome. Food was great and came out quick. Generous portions and tasted just like home π
Quantity of the food here is fair with food filling up to the brim of our takeaway container and the cost is cheap. I had the kuey teow which was delicious! Would definitely come back!
Like any Hawkers in town consistent food and always tasty and of course price is always excellent. We usually order the Hainanese and Nasi Lemak canβt go wrong!
I Make Friends With Salad
+4.5
My favourite place to eat in Bull Creek. The mee goreng is a MUST order, particularly for the vegetarians, it's their standout dish. We also usually order the vego omelette, the vego fried rice and sometimes the claypot (which is okay), or a vegetable curry (they almost 100% use chicken stock though, so if you're strict veggie don't go for this). The sambal okra and the tofu goreng are also good but pretty sure they're not technically 100% vegetarian/depending on the waiter this is what we are warned of. But if you're the type of person who overlooks fish sauce in thai curries, I would just go ahead and get that sambal okra.
Delicious authentic Singaporean/Malaysian food here. Itβs always busy here and sharing tables with other people is not a rare sight. The fish fillet mai fun soup is so tasty, the noodles are springy and fried fish fillet are crispy. Only complain was that the fish was overly salted and got too much along with the salted preserved vegetables. The hainanese chicken rice tasted authentic too, chicken was tender and rice was aromatic. Very large portions here for a reasonable price.
came at 6 pm and the place was already busy. Ordered the the seafood tofu and sweet & sour pork. tofu had heaps of squid, prawns and fish, white the pork with crispy and delicious. portions were generous. Will definitely be back
Nice place for a quick meal. Loved the squid. Not the nicest setting but the foods great and good pricing. Would recommend if youβre in the area.
Only ever order take away from here. Shop is too small and cramp. Dishes always yummy. Owners should give chilli and sambal for their respective dishes, instead of having customers ask as I have forgotten a few times.
Great Hawker food. We have been there a few times and never been disappointed. The menu offers so many variety and are suitable for all ages. The waitpersons always greet us with a smile and very accommodating even when we requested for food less salty for my toddler. Definitely our family eatery when we are too tired to cook.
Always busy and crowded because their food is cheap and tasty. Have tried different things from the menu and none of them disappoint. Authentic hawker food!
This place is always busy and thereβs a reason why β because the food is super tasty, generous portion sizes and ridiculously great value for money. I was introduced to Bullcreek Hawker by my partner and I have to say it is one of my favourite places to eat if weβre after something quick and cheap. I would recommend making a reservation here during their peak hour or else you may miss out.Β We have tried a few dishes from here, both the individual dishes (rice or noodles) as well as the shared dishes. I like them all! Weβve dined in as well as ordered takeaway from here.
A small restaurant located in the suburbs. It's quite busy during lunchtime. We had the hainanese chicken rice ($9.50) and nasi lemak ($10.50). I enjoyed the chicken rice; the rice was fragrant and the chicken breast was tender but not so for the nasi lemak; the rice wasn't fragrant enough and there's very little "kick" in the sambal, it just tasted oily and salty. Other things like fried chicken wing and battered fish on the nasi lemak was good. Oh! And I had the homemade barley water, it's nice tasting and sweet.
Had mee goreng and combination fried rice.
Mee goreng was kind of a rich tomato type Β flavour. Pleasant though.Β
Positive:
Decent size and cheap price
Good quality, not amazing but good
Negative:
A bit kind of , how do you say not dodgy but mildly grubby
Good for a cheap value feed or takeaway
We ordered the curry laksa, beef kway teow and the crispy beef. Laksa was the creamiest we've had in Perth so far and the amount of noodles they served was crazy. Kway teow was smoky, serving size also huge and overall tasted amazing. Definitely one to order. Crispy beef wasn't overly saucy which was good but the sweetness started overpowering in the end. Overall a very nice hawkers to visit but make sure you get there before 6 30 if you don't want to wait for a seat.
Love the food here. Yummy and reasonable price. Had the asam fish, fried rice and mee goreng with family. Good portion. Will be back to try others.
Yummy and reasonably priced, great noodles and laksa. Not a lot of space to eat in and really busy for takeaway, so order ahead and be prepared to wait.
Honestly for it's price, it's unbeatable in the area. Great value for popular dishes of Singaporean/Malaysian cuisine. Better than nearby Bateman eating house or Lepak Kopitiam. It's very busy (rightly so) on any night of the week, so book a table or be prepared to wait - or just phone in and pick up your order.
Packed with foodies. Shuffling space only. The chicken rice came within minutes. Poached chicken was cold with sweetish soya sauce. Fried kueh teow had strong smoky flavors. The laksa was mildly hot. It was thicker soup variety. The eggy rice noodles or hor fun were slicky smooth. Loud chatter in the background. The clanking of woks can be heard in background. All the sounds of Asian street food in Bullcreek.
A reasonable cheap eat place in the suburb area. We normally came here during the day time and can't believe how busy there are during the evening time.
I always had fried hor fun with egg sauce at this place which was delicious. This time round, we decided to order the roti parta with curry, Tom yum soup and the laksa as well. The curry laksa was quite nice too. But the other two dishes didn't live up with the expectation.
My family always orders takeaway and have never gotten anything from their menu that we didn't like. We give them a ring saying its for pick up. Excellent customer service. Even if their a busy shop, they're very polite when you place an order or ask for something. It's a shame that they don't have a wider space for customers.
Love this place. Β During peak time, it's probably wiser to have takeaway or if you can afford to come earlier/later, do it. Β I think we are here weekly, if not more often getting our fill of delicious authentic Malaysian food. Β Space is limited so if you have guests or a large posse, book ahead but like any good Asian joint, food comes out quick so your chances of getting a table are never too far off. Β I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you choose but my usual orders are the Indian Mee Goreng, Assam Fish Curry, Hawker Beef, Sambal Okra. Β So good.
Constantly good food. We ordered the curry laksa and Hor Fun egg sauce noodles. Perfect for wintery weather! Go early to avoid the lunch rush as queues are a norm here.
Best place to come for a late dinner, especially when everything else is closed on a Sunday night (these guys open until 9pm). Cheap and tasty hawker dishes, like wanton mee and hor fun. Consistent and efficient service.
Love this place. Authentic tastes that take me back to my travels through Asia. It's not fancy but it is accomodating. It's not the cleanest but I haven't had any issues.
Busy little Singapore and Malaysian Cuisine. ..Make sure you book. Super fast service.
Mee Goreng was πππππ
Crispy Beef - Best of the best. ..speechless
Hoi Fun egg sauce really have the "wok" kick.
Decent food and value for money. Highly recommended!
This place is always busy. Love the hokkien mee. So rare to find the hokkien mee with the pork lard on top. Have been looking for a while now and found this place. Very happy. The lor mee is ok. The singapore fried mai fun is not bad. The fried hor fun with egg sauce is quite tasty. It has the charred taste if the wok which is really hard to find now a days.
Love it. Deserves its high rating. The only criticisms I have is:
1. Yes it's busy and as a result ambience sucks. I wouldn't eat there but if I had to I would come early to get a seat or be prepared to wait. I usually order take-away so I can enjoy it at home.
2. Not many vegetarian or tofu options.Β
Otherwise everything I have tried is delicious. Highly Recommend
The place was packed by 6 and everybody was happily enjoying their dishes when we arrived. Don't expect attentive services as it's an eat and go type of place. However the wait staff are super efficient and you get your food in no time. Portion is big and everything is DELICIOUS. Such a delightful place, feels like I'm back in one of those Hawker centres in Singapore!

Good little cafe. Can tell food is authentic from the customers. Nothing flash - Laminex tables but tasty. The spinach / greens with sambal delicious and nice fried squid tentacles. Tom yum noodle soup wishy washy and bland but then not Malaysian. Good cheap eat but probably need to be selective in what you order. Cash only. Little English.
Ah delicious and well priced hawker takeway.. very yummy nasi lemak - deep fried chicken wing, nice sambal, a few pieces of fish, good sized ikan bilis. Maybe a bit oily. Good to satisfy your cravings for Malaysian street food.. hokkien mee, hor fun, fish mee fun... =)
The food here is amazing, tried a few dishes and everything was so good! The laska really stood out, full of flavour and such a generous portion :)
order a chicken rice set , chicken served at cold, just like the way it serve in Asian .
chicken was cooking perfect . nice texture and juicy .
One of my go-to Malaysian hawkers places. The mee goreng is one of the best in Perth and the other dishes are authentic too. Large serves and all around $10. I love that you can get the same noodles (for the same price! None of this lunch vs dinner pricing) for dinner! This place is tiny but does take reservations and is also cash only.
Older Asian people are the harshest critics. So, when you see so many of them gathered in one place on a gloomy Monday, you know the food's gonna be good.
This place is definitely going to be a regular spot for me. The food was really good.
Very simple place that I tried when most places were closed during new year's day. The place was crowded with Asian customers which is a good sign. I ordered their their roast duck rice. The portion for the dish was good and the duck was delicious. Even the free soup that came with the dish was better than other places I have tried.
I come here on a weekly basis and the food is also great and cheap. Authentic malaysian cuisine in the heart of Bull Creek. Recommend booking in advance.
Love the flavours of the authentic Malaysian foods, however the authentic deco and hygiene standards were a let down to the delicious foods. The food is much better than the place looks and appears. Would go again.
great keuy teow one of the best in perth! also love the chicken rice here! so many yummy things to eat at bull creek hawkers. this is my regular go to for good chinese malaysian food.
A few good dishes, namely the hainanese chicken rice. Generous servings of chicken, the rice is good enough to be eaten on its own and the chilli sauce is authentic. The curry laksa and kway teow are average, however. The nasi lemak is pretty good too - the sambal is perfect and it comes with a piece of fried chicken which is nicely spiced and two pieces of fried fish which is ok. The lemak rice is cooked well too. I have been hanging out to try the assam laksa which is only available on Saturdays and Sundays but sadly it's always sold out whenever I've been there. This place gets crowded quickly so make a reservation if you're going in a group or go early.
We can always rely on Bull Creek Hawker (Wong's) for a tasty and cheap feed. Service is quick and efficient, do not mistake this for being rude. Top dishes include prawn noodle soup and the 3 meat rice combo!
Love the beef hor fun in egg sauce and the curry laksa. Portion is big and well worth the money. It's always packed so make a reservation before you go! The bak kut teh is terrible, especially the tough meat. The yau char guai that comes with it is worse. It was really tough and had the bad oil smell and taste.
Truly Malaysian hawker food. Cheap, quick n authentic. Yong tau fu laksa n lobak n braised duck dry noodles highly recommended. Great for lunch
What a Hawker should be...tasty n cheap:). After looking at the pictures and making my mouth water, i had to go try it:)
Overall i found the food fresh, tasty, generous and value for money.
We ordered 6 dishes. (Leftovers are lunch the next day hehe)
1. Salted pepper spare ribs. Always fist dish we polish off
2. Hokken mee: soft noodles and light tasty sauce
3. Salted fish and chicken fried rice: my fav fried rice. Very gernous portion n flavorsome.
4. Sizzling pepper beef: very tasty, peppery and beef tender.
5. Half roast duck: sauce was ace! Duck could have been abit better. Fat was still there and meat not tender.
6. Sambal kung kong: (i hope thats how you spell it) spicy but very oily.
Place is jammed packed.
Considering how many people were there and take away orders, or food came out in good time.
We will be back:)
Maybe book if you want to bring your family or friends.
Expolre the flavors:)
Delicious food indeed!. Definitely check out this place if you want an affordable delicious chinese meal. The flavours are all there! I'm always satisfied with my meals. The downside is the service...argh but it's so yummy that I keep going back for more!! Best to take takeaway to avoid those line ups.
Consistency quality. Hainanese Chicken rice is always good one. A place you can go everyday to enjoy nice meal.
Excellent food. Value for money.. Regular takeaway customer. Excellent food. The three meat rice (roast pork, steam chicken & bbq pork) is worth your money at $10.00 a serve! Egg sauce hor fun is delicious too. Consistent taste and will definitely return all the time for a quick lunch takeaway.
Ordering takeaway beforehand is recommended as the restaurant is always crowded at peak times.
We ordered takeaway and got stuck in traffic for half and hour there. before we could eat it was at least 45 mins all told and still very tasty!! will be back and probably dine in to avoid traffic
All time favourite!. You can't go wrong coming here for fabulous Chinese food! I'm here weekly, either for lunch or takeaway dinner. I highly recommend the Char Kway Teow, Lor Mee, Chicken Rice..... everything on the menu is actually really good! For dinner, it's the usual Assam fish, Sambal kang kong, beef brisket stew, Japanese toufoo and the list goes on! Great food, every time. The only down side is sometimes, it's hard to get a seat, but it's worth the wait.
Thumbs up!. I think I am addicted to the Fish Head Mai Fun Soup. Soup is very appetizing with its sourish taste. And the fish head served is full of flavour and lots of flesh. It's available only over the weekend and I seriously don't mind to go back every week.
And so far a few other dishes my husband ordered tasted great too! Don't find any which is unpleasant, so awesome!
Will be back!. Drove pass couple of times so wanted to try this place out. Walked in and it was so packed so we had take away instead which we waited for a while but we realized it was busy so didn't matter as everyone was waiting aswell. Got home and heat up the food. The first mouthful was amazing! cheap and worth it. will be back the second time and sure to book a table!
Nice Value!!. We had few times here lunch mostly full inside so we normally waited to get table food is not very specail but as a price really nice value and food is yuumy too
Authentic Hawker Cuisine.
Every year I travel over to Singapore for one reason... to eat! Specifically at the Hawker Centres and after sampling a few dishes from Bull Creek Hawker I have to say itβs up there with some of Singaporeβs best.
As far as Kway Teow is concerned Hill Street Fried Kway Teow is my favourite in Singapore with No18 Zion Rd Fried Kway Teow a close second but Bull Creek Hawker have pretty much nailed the dish, it just needs some lup cheong and crispy pork lardons in the mix and it would be perfection. Nothing will ever compare to Tian Tian Hiananese Chicken Rice but Bull Creeks version is as close as youβll get without having to jump on a plane.
Highly Recommend.
Good place to eat. Good food at a good price, and staff is quite friendly
Authentic and very inexpensive. We had duck noodle (dry) and beef brisket noodle soup. Both dishes were excellent - the duck was tender and crispy and the soup was a comfort in rainy weather. Service was good. For $21 you come to expect very little - so this place deserve much praise.
Delicious. I love this place, simple authentic Asian food, quick friendly service. I absolutely love the sizzlying salty fish chicken and tofu dish plus the sambal kang kong. Great place for a good quality cheap meal out.
Decided to come here after reading about it on the food pornographers website and he was right. The food was amazing and was quickly prepared. Had ordered chicken rice, curry laksa and kway teo and all was so delicious. The servings were huge and worth the price. At 9.00 a dish I will definitely be going back again.
Unbelievable!. Definitely the best Malaysian/Singapore Hawker in Perth. I don't say that lightly either as there are a few other good ones around. I ordered the Rendang which was easily the best I've had. The meat was so tender and the sauce was amazing. My colleagues ordered Seafood Laksa, and commented that there's was also up there with the best. Highly recommended. The staff are friendly and prompt and the portions are very generous. I'll be back.
Best Curry Laksa in Perth...only $9..
Try their 'Lor Mee' it is very authentic and full of flavors
GOOD FOOD, GREAT PRICE, WONDERFUL SERVICE. Highly recommended. This is the one you don't want to miss! MUST TRY!
I went there for a Sunday lunch. I ate hainanese chicken. It was very nice however the staff are quite rude. One girl who works there is lovely but the other staff aren't friendly. Puts me off going back even though the food is good.
Highly recommended. Went there the other day, cant complain at all. I usually complain alot too haha. Got two entrees, three mains and a drink and it was only like 50 bucks all up. Great value and top food, even my Malaysian friend who I went with had never been there before said it was very good and gave it two thumbs up. Because I dont eat a heap of Malay food I wanted to know what she thought and even she said it is really good, so there you go.
Good chinese food - always torn between choosing either the combination hor fun or the hokkien mee.First world problems.
Food here is just amazing, the closest you can get to real Singaporean/Malaysian Chinese food. Also very affordable. Been going there (a bit too) regularly for the past 5 years.
I had the asam laksa which was fine, but I suffered from serious food envy in spying the next table's orders of roast duck & noodles... Must return to try for myself!
Authentic and Delicious. I have to admit the plastic tables and chairs illuminated by fluorescent light does not create the cosiest of dining atmospheres on a freezing cold night...however one mouthful of the delicious, authentic home cooking meals Hawkers has to offer and I forgot all about it. The starters (wontons and spring rolls) were rubbish and served with tomato ketchup but so cheap it didnt matter. Between the four of us dining we had about 5 or 6 different dishes. Can't remember the names but the tofu was good as was the roti bread with curry. Meat was served on the bone, tender and effortless to remove..absolutely perfect and a welcome change from the floury, flavourless meat served at most Chinese dining places. Was astounded when recieving the bill, $11 per head (including corkage). Can't wait to take my boyfriend tonight for another cheap and delicious meal. Highly recommend this place!
Wish i lived closer. I used to live down the road from Bull Creek hawker and used to eat there or have takeaways.
I still go back there now eventhough i'm about half an hour's drive away. Their curry laksa is definitely the best i've had in Perth.
Onya. Went there last Friday with my son and his fiance and we had great meals to share, busy enough and the service was good also will go back to try other dishes, first time there but not the last i am sure
Cheap fast and taste good .. What else to expect from a hawker ? It delivers )
Deliciously consistent food. We come here all the time for cheap eats, and the lady even remembers our favorite dishes now. We've eaten several dishes, amongst our favorites are the hokkien mee, yong tau fu noodle soup, fish head Mai fan soup, chicken rice and fried keuh teow. Most impressive is the consistency in the flavours of the food. The chef has definelty got it right!
Service is quick and efficient and portions are very generous.
Flavour is always consistent, prompt service and always billed correctly - But Cash only!
Delicious, tangy Assam Laksa close to Penang standards. Generally yummy and authentic-tasting Malaysian food.
We love the Braised Beef with Dry Noodles, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Curry Laksa. On weekends, they serve the best-tasting Assam Laksa in SOR. YUMMMM!
Good enough to satisfy my craving for this quintessentially Penang street food. Pricey though at $10, for a bowl of noodles and a few bits of vege and fish. But if you're craving for some....
Haven't tried the other offferings as we just get stuck on our favourites :)
Roast pork *drool*. Went here for the first time today as I was in the area and decided to have the roast pork with rice. The roast pork was by far the best i've had anywhere in Perth and the 2nd best i've ever had (after a place in KL). Also had the squid tentacles and they were cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back!
Dropped by for lunch and it was packed. We ended up getting takeaway. The satay chicken with fried rice was delicious. Full of flavour and a generous portion. Can't wait to go back for more.
One of the best Chinese restaurants south of the river, food that doesn't reflect the extremely cheap price and generous serving size.... Anyone a fan of satay beef should five theirs a try! Other great dishes include the beef kuaw Tao honey chicken and sweet and sour pork. The restaurant doesn't try to be anything it's not with it's basic decor but at the same time this adds a homely feel to the restaurant. Would reccomend to anyone who enjoys a good Chinese meal
Good food, good price, big portions, loved it.
Great value.. Just moved into the area recently, and thought I'd check out the local dining establishments. As others have pointed out, the seating space is quite limited, and it does seem to get rather busy, so you may want to take-away. The prices are incredible value-for-money, especially since the serving sizes are so generous. The menu has wide selection, and I had no complaints with either the Sang Mee or Roti prata I ordered. Highly recommended eatery, will certainly be a returning customer.
Always consistant and authentic. Have been a patron of the Bull Creek Hawker for years now and the food and service are consistantly good.
Tasty and authentic Chinese/Singaporian/Malasian style food. The prices are good too.
Our whole family loves it! We go to BC Hawker once a week! Food is great but due to its popularity finding a dine-in seat is hard unless you book in advance. We often order take outs instead and the food taste just as great :) My favourite is braised bf claypot. Sis is the Hainan chicken rice. Mum loves her bak kut teh & dad is the sweet & sour fried fish! I highly recommend this place. With the price and taste I would return again and again!
Highly recommended!. This place is great. highly recommended, signature dishes i'd say is the chicken rice ying yong and curry chicken.
Big servings and one of the cheapest around. Very small expected to wait or just order take away.
I had the Singapore noodles, hor fan and fried rice. Not bad, I'd give it 7 out of 10.
Small but delicious!. The place is tiny, we seem to always get takeaway. the food here is so cheap and tasty. always busy so do ring ahead!
This is the OG place for Malaysian hawker food in Perth, the customer service provided by the team is exceptional. Although seats are limited, food is served quickly without affecting quality or taste. The sweet and sour pork is a must order dish when you are here.
This is probably the best malaysian restaurant in all of Perth. It was very delicious and flavourful. The service is fast and helpful. We had an amazing experience and I travelled 45 mins to get here. I loved the Assam laksa, kway teow and roast pork. Everything was delightful, I am definitely returning here and telling my friends about this. If you want good malaysian food you have to come here :)
Went to get some fish head noodle soup but they only offer on weekends. Tried other food and they were pretty average just thought they were a bit salty and sweet in general thoughπ€ππ²π±π
Gai fan and chow kway tiu from Bull Creek Hawker! Great value, good portions and great taste! The chicken is authentic and the wok hei for the CKT is real! Thanks to Romi for the rec! π
Suburban Gem!
This small restaurant in the Parry Village Shipping Centre punches well its weight. It's always busy at lunchtimes and it is full of Asian diners. The food is authentic Malaysian hawker style food, the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous and the service is genuine! This is highly recommended!
This place is the place to go for authentic hawker dishes. It can get busy around dinner time so you need to book ahead of time. That said, because it's busy, the phone maybe engaged so you have to persevere. It worth the wait and the prices are reasonable.
