Long time girlfriends and I go to the club for dinner every few weeks, it's a friendly and efficient place and the chicken and mushroom risotto is the so good it makes my mouth water thinking about it. The rest of the menu is delicious as well

We are from Sydney Nsw and we just fluked this restaurant as we drove past and I must say the food was absolutely beautiful and fresh ! Next time we visit Melbourne we will definitely go here again ! Absolutely beautiful food and prices wasn't over priced ! Very satisfied customer ! yum. The staff were ok ! They just need to make people feel more welcoming ! They squashed us on a table for 2 and there were 3 of us and the restaurant wasn't that busy yet and there were other tables available and was told if we don't like it sit on the bar stool with bench table instead and eat.At first was going to Walk out and go elsewhere due to crap customer service ! But glad we stayed food was beautiful ! The food made up for the crappy customer service ! Customer service needs addressing big time !

We had our wedding reception here over the weekend and could not have asked for better service. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. They were friendly and efficient. I am so glad we chose to have our reception at the Veneto Club and would recommend the venue to everybody! I could not say a bad thing about anything there. Food was also great! Thanks guys!
I went there for Lunch this afternoon with Rose and my parents. I had a Parmigiana Di Vitello O Pollo and heaps of Chips with a glass of Lemonade with Raspberry Coridal, Rose had Risotto Al Gamberi with a glass of water, My Dad had the Gnocchi Di Ricotta Con Gamberi with a glass of water and my Mum had Calamari Sale E Pepe with a glass of water. The staff were kind to us and the service was amazing.

We were able to book a table 15 minutes before we wanted to be seated and right near the play equipment for the little ones.
Ordering is a slow process - they should really have 2 registers and wait staff taking orders.
I asked for the kids meals to be served first but was really happy when they sent out all our meals. Food was great - no mention of chilli in the ricotta gnocchi, so that was a nice surprise 💥 Especially cause I asked...
Kids loved their meals. Happy to go back here whether for a casual meal or function.
You cannot beat the polenta chips!
Had the best affogato of my life. The french vanilla ice cream that they served along with it was amazing. The lady who made the coffees was also really cheerful and friendly. We had a nice conversation for a good 10 minuets. Had some sandwiches as well which were also on average. Nice spot to go with friends and have a good time.

We had the lenguini alla pescatore ‘ in the bag ‘ , in bianco.
It was nearly perfect. Just the correct amount of garlic and fish . The pasta was perfectly al dente.
The atmosphere is good and the price is exactly what it needs to be for a family restaurant.
The antipasti were fresh and the selection of assaggini was appetising.
All in all , a two course meal with wine for under $40 pp. Yummy and no guilt pains.
Went there with my family and another family. The food was nice and well cooked but would I be back ie was there something to this place that would drag me back? The answer is no. Does this place have something on the menu with a taste and at the prices that I can't get anywhere else? again, No. This is what every restaurant needs to ask themselves. Also, The portion sizes for the mains were a little on the smaller size for the prices they are charging. I would caution them against trying to come across as fine dining and charging too much for their meals - they will miss out on customers. I would definitely recommend they put pizza on the menu if they really want to rake the $$$$ in though and give families more options.

I had Calamari with a salad as starter and Flounder with Veg as a main, Both were terrific. The veg side Kippler potato , Silverbeet, mushroom, zucchini and carrot; ample and rustic. Friendly service full bar and even have Sangiovese on tap. Go in early , book a table or just chance it to see if you get in.

Had the bruschetta and spaghetti in a bag with garlic and oil - both delicious. Tried one of the gnocchi's but wasn't as enamoured. Great for kids.

As a family group of 30 we attended the Sunday night buffet. Good price, delicious Italian food and a nice relaxed vibe. Will definitely be back
Was quite impressed with the service here for such a large restaurant the entree was served within 5 min .Had antipasti a variety of different salami and olives very nice , the whole baby flounder was cooked perfectly and very generous size fish.The terumisu was excellent. Even the coffee was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place. After dinner you can go dancing upstairs.
What a dissapoitment after being told this is the best Italian food around.
Service was woeful,food was just acceptable,cleaning of tables did not happen,wine prices ridiculous.
The worst part was the noise level was well and truely unacceptable,children yelling and running through the tables.
I came out with a headache and indigestion won't be back .

Great food for all the family!. 11 of us visited for dinner (3 families with kids) and enjoyed the night immensely. Delicious food served fast and hot, friendly service and the enclosed outdoor area (with some play equipment) provided the children with an outlet to let off steam. The tasty gelati afterwards were a perfect end to a fun evening.

Another visit and was pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant full, busy with a mixture of family groups and couples with lots of chatter without being too noisy as there is ample space between tables. Service has definitely improved recently (drinks are self service at the bar) with friendly staff that go about their future with a minimum of fuss. The is a good selection of food to choose from with a great specials board for additional variety, although the specials board itself is sandwiched between a wall and the ice cream fridge so that for most people only the top third of the board is visible requiring everyone to get up and read the specials individually- need to find a better way to convey the specials to customers... Most of our meals came from the specials came from the specials board and were very good especially the snapper and the polenta chips are always a hit. My polo parmigiana from the normal menu was just OK ... it looked limp and to be honest not appealing. Apart from that, the meals are well sized and priced and we finished off the night with a round of afogato for the table that really hit the spot!
GOOD FOOD. We went to the Venato Club last night with 10 People. Everyone was happy and very satisfied with their meal. The portions sizes are good for adults and as well as the children meals.Between us we had gnoccchi, rib-eye, scotch fillet, signature dish pasta Marinara, parma, pork belly, calamari, antipasto platter and bruchetta. No one was disappointed. Everyone commented on the generous portion sizes and how fresh the food tasted. The only thing lacking is when they are busy even on a Wednesday night the wait time, but in good company the times passes. We have been going for a few years now and will keep going for good quality local meal.

Through the generations. I have been coming to the Veneto Club since I was a little girl. Off and on for a while there but now I am a regular and often come with my girlfriends for lunch or in the evening with my family.
I can honestly say the food has come a long way, reasonably priced, in tune with the Veneto region and always generous in size. The bistro is always busy but I have always been greeted and seated and served within a reasonable time.
I have also been to several events at the Veneto club in the last year or so (more and more of my friends are following suit and booking events here) and once again had a great time, my friends have always been very pleased with the service and organisation they have received.
I will without a doubt continue to dine and celebrate at the Veneto Club for many years to come, it can only go from strength to strength!!

Surprising. This place surprised me. I was expecting the worse but got great authentic Italian food. Good variety on the menu and will definitely be back.

Italian Splendour.. Last night I took a group of family and friends to dinner in order to celebrate my birthday. Well, what a fantastic night! The friendly prompt service of the staff to the lovely family friendly surroundings of the bistro was A1. The food that my guests ordered varied from rib eye steak to spaghetti marinara and everyone loved their meals. The polenta and porcini mushrooms was a real joy.The prices were very fare considering the lovely diverse range of food that was on offer. Congratulations to all the "Veneto Club" staff for a memorable positive experience. My family will definitely be back.
We ran a successful function in the Gondola Room overlooking the soccer field. Great selection of ravioli entrees, bistecci and salmon mains and cannelloni dessert. Excellent service from the staff. Venue provided audio video. Room was spacious. Plenty of on-site parking.
The Venetto Club is a great place to take the family for dinner. It was very busy so booking ahead is recommended, but the food and drinks were excellent. Try the seafood in a bag. Absolutely spot on! Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and serving sizes. Kids couldn’t finish their pasta and the selection of drinks was great.
Been driving past this join for only about 34 years of my life.. Not much at all! Boy, do I massively regret not coming here earlier.....
The food here (mind you, I am a huge eater, usually order 2 mains and 1 entree & side to fill me up) is ENORMOUS! Generous with all the meat, toppings, and portions! So I ordered my usual 2 mains entree and side..
To my surprise the entrees and sides (main sizes) came out and was literally getting full on them already!
Then came the actual main! Man, this was like, a family of 3 to 4 meal legitimately, and price range for a main was about 27 bux. The value!!
Not only was it big and generous, but the taste was big as well!
The only downside to my experience was, I wish I found out about this place earlier!!

Lovely to return here after about 2 years. Love that you order and pay then food is brought to your table. Entree serve of calamari is plenty as a main for lunch and it was tender coming with salad.
Good choice of wines, etc by the glass and at reasonable prices. Sweets and a selection of cakes are available although my carrot cake needed to spend 15 seconds in microwave as it was too cold due to it being kept in the fridge.
We recently had my mother-in-laws 90th birthday here. Chris and the staff were very helpful throughout the whole process. From catering for people with specific food types to working out seating for almost 60 people. The food was great and all our guests really enjoyed themselves. Thanks again for a great night. We will definitely go again.
Amazing Authentic Italian food. The gnocchi with prawns is a winner, I have it every time I’m there. Never disappointed. The staff are so super friendly. Highly recommend you stop here for a meal.
