Review Market Eating House - Bunbury

Very busy restaurant, need to wait long time. I ordered lamb ribs after I checked with staff do they still have or sold out, the staff said they still enough. 20 minutes after, staff come to me say “ sorry, we run out lamb ribs “ would you change other food? Why you don’t just say it’s run out when I order?? Really waste of time. Especially my friends food nearly finished… Price is high, but the food just average. Dining area is too dark, feels like want to save electricity power. Toilet is clean. Staff is nice and good service. Just need to control the food quantity don’t waste customers time.

came here on multiple separate occasions for dinner, once we ordered from the main menu and the other time we ordered the set menu. service was wonderful both times. tartare and seafood was done really well here but everything else was mediocre. the lamb dishes were all quite heavy, and the vegetable sides nothing special. may return if in the vicinity.

Atmosphere was amazing and service was prompt and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. We got the fatteh chicken, eggplant salad and prawn and scallop dumplings; every dish was fresh, tasty and delicious.

So many diverse options on the menu, table service is great! Staff are super friendly and provide great advice on drinks / foods. Would recommend!

Nothing disappoint us here. Had the shoulder lamb, mussel toasts, shark bay whiting sliders, hummus with woodfired bread, prawn and scallop dumplings and the cauliflower. All are great! I say this place is a gem in Bunbury

Awful experience. So disappointing. 1) Despite calling ahead to confirm gf options I was promptly told off by the waitress which dishes was gf. 2) Hummus had plastic in it. I told the waitress she was unapologetic. On leaving, the manager enquired about the meal. I again mentioned the plastic in the hummus. She gave a quick sorry and then charged the full amount of $250. 3) i was told that my options were gf… I’ve had bad guts all evening and this morning. Over-rated. Over priced. Rude service. Plastic in food.

We had the feed me menu between 4 people. $62pp The hummus is the best I've ever had! Also the croquettes were unreal!!! The lamb could have been better quality had gristle in the small dumpling I had not the nicest tasting lamb either. Salmon was cooked amazing very small portion could have been slightly bigger to accommodate the large vegetable portions and less salad as most of it was wasted. Only major complaint was the raw onion through out the salad. Only taste we had at the end of the night was onion horrible, apart from that it was great service and food was good and id go back to try the rest of the menu.

Awesome meal today. Took our 2 kids (5 & 7), but there isnt a kids menu, which didnt matter, they shared dishes with us. Dishes had interesting, stunning flavours and good use of the wood oven to add to the dishes. The food rolled out at a nice pace making for a relaxed, great meal. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

From walking in, me and my family were greeted by a happy enthusiastic, energetic staff. Explained the food and drink options, fill your glasses full of water, always topped up when almost empty. Whole family had the feed me option. All food that came out was delicious and high quality with a variety of generous servings. Definatly going to return here and recommend to all my family and friends. Thanks Market Eating House and staff for a great night.

This place is 10 out of 5. Ambience is great, service great, food was fantastic. Possible the best food we’ve had. My partner and I were having a romantic getaway, but lunch completely topped it :).

A lovely evening sampling from the wonderful menu at the Market Eating house again. I have some food sensitivities, the roast pork was delicious and the apple Tzatzki (garlic free) was delicious ! All the staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful and informative. Braydon was so patient and courteous with us all. My friend from the uk thoroughly enjoyed the fine dining and Wine selection too. I couldn’t recommend Market eating house more highly 😊

Thankyou for your amazing "Feed Me" menu, we often got to restaurants and order the same old things but we decided to give it a go in the hopes we would be surprised and I'm happy to say we were blown away. Loved the staff too - always replaced our water without it being empty. Highly recommend, not just for the food but an experience.

The food and the service was perfect. Busy night but all of wait staff were very attentive. Food was just delicious, prawns dipped in pork crackling, pure brilliance. Pork knuckle was spot on to. We will be back. Thanks for great night.

Had a beautiful meal this evening, the food was delicious and the service was fast and super friendly. but seriously. The white chocolate and mandarin Pavlova was to die for!! Perfect crunch with a squishy gooey bottom, you couldn't make it any more perfect, its a winner - we plan to come back regularly for wine and pav �� �� thanks for a lovely eveing!!

Ordered the takeaway feed Saturday 9/6/18. Everything from initial phone call, pickup and then the tasty food was spot on. Great value for money ($59) fed four adults, with enough remaining for someone’s lunch the next day. Being able to take home food of this quality as a takeaway meal is so good. Kudos Market Eating House.

My first time at market eating house and words can not describe the amazing food that comes out of the kitchen. I would highly highly recommend everyone to visit. Best food n service in bunbury hell perth aswell.

My friend and I chose the ‘feed me more’ option with a bottle of lovely SBS for lunch on Friday. Every dish that came out was a delicious surprise. So flavoursome! We both left feeling very full, impressed & satisfied and definitely didn’t need any dinner after such a generous lunch! The staff & service were very friendly and attentive, very welcoming. Coffee was great also! What a treat.

My favourite restaurant in Bunbury. Great service, atmosphere and food. Would highly recommend!!

Everything about Market Eating House is amazing! The food is outstanding, the drinks are super tasty and the customer service is next level. Love this place!!!
