Review Vat 2 - Bunbury

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was one of best customer service that we’ve experienced. Food, drinks and the view was really amazing. We’ll definitely be back. Great job!

Had brunch here with my wife, she had the Croquettes and I tried the Chimichanga. The Croquettes were very nice, I tried one and found it tender and full of flavour. I took a chance with the Chimichanga, there is a lot going on in this meal. A bit too much. It was tasty but deep frying it all together in a pastry wrap was too much. The restaurant was clean and staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast time wasn’t busy for them and I would go back despite my 3 star score. More to try on the menu. 😆

We had some small plates to share and found the food here so tasty!! and with big serves (had to take some home). Service was very friendly and couldn't do enough. This has become one of our favourite places.

Should have taken photos , but we ate it before even thinking about taking pics🙂 New years day lunch. We were informed that we would have a long wait as they were short staffed. Barton Jones sav blanc was marvellous, we ordered our lunch at the same time as we ordered the wine. The wait was minimal, so no complaints here. Staff were lovely and efficient. We had pork bao buns and duck pancakes , they were devine. We frequent alot of restaurants in Bunbury as we're locals. Vat 2 is one of the better venues. Superb location

Went for dinner on Thursday night. Enjoyable experience. The waiter was very efficient and he was very nice. My husband loved his fish main and I had steak cooked perfectly. The menu is very large and caters to a lot of people. It was fairly busy with a function on but we were served fast and drinks served fast.Looking forward go going back again.thankyou vat.

The Vat 2 has the lot. Its a beautiful location and the staff could not be any more helpful. I think our waiter was Michael and he looked after us like a pro, thank you. The cocktail menu was amazing, I could have had them all.... but I didn't! And we could not fault the food, everything on the table was delicious. Between six of us we had small shares and a couple of mains and every item was yummy. We choose to go here every year after working a 12 hour shift at the BREC and I honestly would not go anywhere else. 5 star from me.

Got our booking name and photo wrong to start with, then the flat white was a cappuccino and waited an hour and a half for our breakfast, to top things off when we paid and asked for a discount due to the wait and each plate being brought out separately, so by the time the last person got their meal the others had finished. Disappointed and would not recommend.

We booked in 6 for brunch at Vat 2, the menu is so interesting that we salivated deciding our choices 😋 I was excited to dig into my choice that forgot before photos 😆 the boys said that the full breakfast was the best they had ever had! Fabulous location, even a Willie Wagtail came to say hello 🤩
