Great pub lunch. The food was tasty, beer and wine well chilled. Pleasant and clean dining area. But by far the best part of our experience today was the exceptional service we and the other guests received from Jake. Friendly, attentive and obliging. A true hospitality professional, a rare find. 6 stars

We booked via phone and unfortunately when we arrived were told there wasn't a booking. However, staff found a table for us and gave us a complimentary garlic bread for the stuff up. Food was well priced and the portions were HUGE/FANTASTIC. Drinks were well priced too. The staff were extremely friendly and at the end of our meal even gave my son a complimentary frog in a pond (due to "sharing" his chips with his Poppy). It was an amazing end to Mother's day and I will definitely be back.

Delicious meal & staff were delightful. Just a little confused when it came to the tipping on the app. Easy enough to use & everything was as ordered. Just couldn't understand why we were asked to tip before we had even received our drinks or meal. If I do tip I like to know that it is going to the people that have given me the services I have received. Thanks for lovely meal tho

Very pleasant experience today at the Highway Hotel. The staff on duty at lunch time were extremely nice. The meal was also excellent. All things considered, well done Highway Hotel, keep up the good work.

We popped into the Highway for a quick snack this arvo. The service by Kylie was second to none. The young manager could not do enough to make sure our experience was one to make us go back. See you next time.

We had a booking for a large number of people, a special event for my family. We were looked after well, including the children. The food was stunning, Irish sausages in a Yorkie, S&P Calamari, Ribs, burgers and fish of the Day 👍❤️🎏💯

Not an overly good night. Out of their control but had over the top loud group near us, another level. Food was nice but not much of it. The muscles were tiny and the crispy skin Barramundi wasn't crispy. More like rubber. Should have gone the steak.

Jake oh Jake. Best service ever. Nothing was too much trouble. Good for a laugh. I vote him best employee!!!!. Will be back to say hi. Oh n food was great!!!

My son and i recently had a meal at the highway hotel and i must say the staff are rude ,very slow and the food was awful was very disappointed, place looks nice from outside but whats inside is just lazy, and not fit for human consumption, i would recommend that people not spend there hard earned dollars at such a poorly run establishment, doesn't even deserve a star .

Me and my wife had the rump and lobster today. We asked for medium cooked steak, it was well done and very chewy. The lobster was overcooked too, very rubbery. Gave them another chance. Got the seafood board and everything was way over cooked. Will be finding another place to eat now.

Went for dinner with my family, service as good, food was poor. all the chips overdone, not enough sauce on my full price steak, when asked for a little more a $3 would of been added to my bill. before tonight food was great and service is always great. let me down highway.

Had dinner on Tues 11/7/2017. My husband ordered the steak special which was very tough. He was very disappointed. I ordered the roadted vegetable salad and added salmon to the dish. It could have been fabulous but was spoilt by the large amount of bitter and tough kale. If the dish was bulked up with other greens it would have been easier to eat. Two of us had the lemon and mango cheesecake and the cookies and cream cake and these were both amazing.

Myself, partner and son went for dinner on a Thursday night. It was busy. Partner stood at the counter for 15 minutes waiting to order food only to be told they werent taking food orders for 20 minutes. He asked to speak to management and was told he had to wait for 20 minutes. She came to our table. He obviously made a complaint. Our orders were put through and our sons food came out first. Our meals came out. Partners steak was charcoled. My steak was still bleeding. We asked for mine to be medium to well with garlic sauce. I took it back and asked for another. A second steak was bought out and same thing still bleeding. Partner took it back and explained medium to well as I am pregnant. A third meal came out only to find it was the same steak only to be cooked more with the sauce on it and it was now charcoal. The manager and one bar maid handled the situation well but some of the bar staff and the chef were so rude and arrogant.

Have had the burger here a few times now and it is always consistently awesome. Highly recommend if you love a good burger burgerbros_southwest

We love coming here for the cheap bar food my favorite steak and chips with pepper sauce and a pint of bulmers never dissapoints!

We went on a Wednesday night for the Parmi special, we were not disappointed. The meals are large we were expecting small portions being that they are 'special night' meals. The prices are great for a family of 4 with mains, 2 drinks each, dessert each and garlic bread very happy with the total.

Worst birthday meal I've ever had sent my meal back as it was cold used to be great food here they've dropped the ball badly
