Review The Hungry Tum - Bundaberg

Lovley staff and very helpful. Food was as tastey as it gets. Also open 24hrs. Got a bacon and egg sanga and partner got snitty and mayo sanga. Beautiful. Will be back if were ever in Bundy again.

Love this place. I'm a shift work at the at the hospital, and they are a life saver. They don't sell fancy food. But by God is it good. Proper pub or tradie food. I love the steak with everything toasted sandwich.

I usually just get the chips cheese and gravy combo, but a few years back I had an awful experience where I bought two energy drinks for $18 which I didn’t realise until I saw my bill, so I asked to give the drinks back for the money so I could go elsewhere, but I was met with snarkiness by one of the females that worked there, saying that I can’t do that. After some back and forwards arguing, I left with the drinks that were obviously overpriced to trick the tourists. I’m very disappointed in this place for this. I’m giving 3 stars because the food quality is nice, but I’m never going to forget this awful experience.

Lunch and snack pack. Sooooo much salt on chips and chicken that it couldnt be eaten. Attempted to wipe or shake it off but was inedible. I love salt, but this was more than even I could handle. They must have had their eyes closed.

Absolutely disgusted! Just went in to get drinks and crumb sausage for my daughter and the 2 staff were fighting loudly about who is going to make the burger and who gets paid more. All us customers couldn't believe it. I said you do realise there is customers in here and she told me and my 2 little girls to get out of the shop! You lady don't deserve that job. I walked out and left my food

I've been having wonderful experience with hungry Tum lately, the staff have been kind, helpful and patience. They keep the kitchen cleen and the quality of their food is suberb and safe

Food is reasonably good. Hygiene was lacking. Proper food preparation was not used. Watched the lady make my food with her bare hands on a hot sweaty day.

This place is open 24hrs , friendly staff an have a great range of food, drinks an some supplies

Good chips . The gravy is thick like molasses and as salty as vegimite. Not to my liking.<br/>Preformed battered fish.The fried bone dry chicken was keeping warm in tbe display bein marie. Maybe try a burger or sandwich. Oh its the only place open late at night.

We are currently staying in the hostel opposite The Hungry Tum and we have made several trips here. Day and evening and it just keeps getting better. <br/><br/>The chilli chicken burger is AMAZING and the fish and chips are pretty good too. <br/><br/>The chips and cheese are delicious.<br/><br/>Be aware though as extras in here such as drinks can be quite expensive. <br/><br/>We will however keep coming for our weekly treat!

After reading the reviews, we went and ordered the chips, cheese and gravy. <br/>It's an excellent value for money filler. <br/>We didn't try anything else as we were on our way to a party, but the chips were great!

A Bundaberg institution; guaranteed to always be there for you when you stumble drunkenly out of the pub at 3am. It has been there for decades, serving generations of pickled Bundabergians. There really is only one thing there that I can guarantee won't kill you from food poisoning and that's the hot chips with melted cheese and gravy (I'm not even sure they sell anything else? I wouldn't know). Sure, its tastes disgusting unless you're six times over the legal limit, but it fills a hole and will hopefully delay the inevitable spew until you get to the privacy of your own home. There's even a bench outside where you can share your bucket of chips with other intoxicated patrons (or have a quick nap). Fantastic.

Drunk and want a burger at 2am? Amazing!! Chips and gravy with cheese. Best!
