Review Lone Star Rib House - Bundaberg

I can see why Lonestar struggles. The menu is constantly dropping things which made them different. The steak was average. The pork was pretty good. But you can't get the mash potato any more. The cheesy fries were small and the chips were average. I do like unlimited soft drink though. But it's not enough to make me choose Lonestar over other steak options.

Service was fantastic... however I was a little disappointed with the Steak and Ribs combo for 39.95. I expected to get more than one rib with the meal and a lot more chips than I had. Steak was medium instead of medium rare and a little chewy. The single rib was great... just wish there was more. I'm not saying a full rack or even half but maybe just 2 or 3 ribs...considering the menus uses a plural term for ribs instead of singular. That's just my 2 cents.

My pork spare ribs were delishes and plenty. Steak ,ships and salad were done perfect. The stack, pork, beef and ships and colslow were out of this world. Kids had there meals free. They were happy with ships ,chicken nuggets and icecream for dessert. Had a lovely waitress and great service

Well I'm really not sure where to start.. Our bruschetta entrè was poorly assembled with what seemed to be basil paste out of a tube, it was spread on thick like avocado, which made the bread soggy and the topping was sparse (see photos below) Our friends ordered the porter-house & rump steaks as medium-well and both arrived as medium-rare, these were promptly sent back to rectify, on return the rump was tough and the P-house was still undercooked. My husband ordered the "all you can eat" beef, ribs and wings - he said it was nothing special and was very dissapointed. I ordered the chicken snitzel, chips & salad with gravy, the meal was not very hot. The table staff were apologetic but we feel it should've been dealt by the manager, which didn't happen! No attempt to get us to return other than saying "when you come back let us know" In all, a very dissapointing meal out. The restaurant was very cold, it was our first visit to this restaurant and won't be returning anytime soon!

Met there with friends and had a nice time. My steak was med well but I asked for med rare. That would be my only complaint, otherwise everything else was spot on.

Not sure how this place is still open, one of the worst family restaurants I’ve been to. Food is absolutely terrible and overpriced. You would think you could get a nice steak in bundy but not at this place. Very disappointing. Don’t waist your time, I gave it one star only because I had to to post review but my star rating is a big fat ZERO…

Ribs were dry and fatty. Staff were uninterested, did not care at all. We had a foreign object in our daughters burger. The girl took it to show the chef and we heard nothing back. Don’t eat here, it’s pricy and a waste of money. Food looks presentable, but it’s really bland, fatty and dry. So much fat.

Food was nice and fresh .. happy surroundings.. nice staff & service .. 1 hr wait for main meal and childrens meals to arrive.. and dont cater when asked for food & dietry requirements - like sauce on the side, not on food & no salad dressing on salad. Everything else ok! Would not go back there though, nice to have experienced it, wasnt to what was expercted .. could be what your after .. not to my liking, thank you
