Large group went for dinner at Degani, food was fantastic, staff were friendly and food was served in a timely manner. Everyone really enjoyed there meals. Would eat at degani's again.
It was my go to place for having my coffee breaks while i worked at uni hill SC. The services are usually quick. The coffees (latte, cappuccino are my usuals) are also decent. But their pastries are the best, especially loved their vanilla french slice.

Have come here quite a bit and tried different things on the menu. Recommend the chicken schnitzel sandwich. its HUGE! Staff are friendly as well.
Came here last night with my best friend. You can always find a seat relatively quickly which I find great.
We both came for dinner and dessert. I ordered the garlic prawns and chocolate volcano.
The garlic prawns were beautiful. The whole plate was seasoned with grace and the garlic sauce was alluring and had the right amount of flavour when basted with all the accompaniments on the plate. My only drawback was I kept searching for prawns and their wasn't lots of them which was a spew.
In relation to the volcano cake it was utterly delectable with every mouthful.
All in all a low key eatery with lovely dinner options and dessert alternatives.
Love the range of meals here and we've enjoyed each one we've ordered! Service by all the staff is amazing, but a special mention goes to Billy, who has served us on numerous occasions and impressed us with her exceptional service.
Whenever I'm working in the area I pop in for a takeaway coffee and thus far I'm yet to be let down! The coffee always hits the spot.
I've never tasted the food so I can't comment on that, but definitely recommend the coffee if you're in the area.
Pretty decent food and quiet decent portions considering all the other shops nearby. Value for money? Yes if you like a brunch or dinne but coffee at deganis? Probably not hence my 3.5 rating
Great place for a decent meal at uni hill! Surrounded by cheap Asian, fast food and a food court, degani's manages to serve some actually good food and coffee! Prices are really quite high considering the area and style of restaurant, however you're guaranteed a good meal and large portion size :) staff are super friendly, and service is quick. Thai beef salad was a stand out!
This cafe is the best out of Unihill shops within walking distance while shopping at outlet. It's located at opposite building with Coles supermarket. Service is great. I ordered sausage roll for quick bite and let you know how long it takes to serve because it needed to go oven. Coffee has good flavour. Variety of food to choose and finally so happy to find one cafe near by outlet after felt sick of seeing low standard food courts.
Nice little local place nearby for easy mornings.
Normally I am very apprehensive of franchises as the quality is normally lacking. I can say however this is not the case with deganis in Bundoora.
Food portions are great, the bread is very fresh (something you don't find in many deganis ie: airport West, Plenty valley, Roxborough Park to name a few). The food is consistent everytime and staff are friendly enough.
A little pricey and coffee can be a bit hit and miss but still my go to place as a local.
Totally crazy busy! Amazing considering most Cafes around empty, decor looks dated maybe 10plus, service prompt and covered, could be better but watching staff it looks intense.

A great place for dinner or even a quick coffee. The staff are always friendly and even though the service isn't always the quickest, the food has always been worth it. I love a Degani hot chocolate!
Great food and coffee but average service, I've been there a couple of times where I've been seated for 10-15 minutes without being handed a menu, and having to go ask for one.
Its a place to go for desserts and coffee. Everytime I go the ppace is full mostly on weekends. Wouldn't recommend the food though. I love the cheesecake here.Service is quick.

I had the Thai beef salad and the flavours were spot on, Clean, busy enough place. I would come back here again. I would like to try the Prawn and Avocado salad next time.
Ginormous portion size breakfast. Almost 3 times the size of the usual breakky else where in Melbourne. Friendly staff & awesome coffee. Their French toast is a must to try.

Best coffee ever. Great vibe, have moved interstate and keep comparing everything to Degani. Nothing beats their coffee, I make a complicatedcomplicated cappuccino/ espresso order, and they make it to my liking every time. Best coffee ever!
I get a takeaway latte almost every day despite working in a cafe and it's always delicious! Lovely service and great coffee. Definitely recommend. :) x
Had the eggs Benedict; eggs poached perfectly but bread was too thick, dry and sour. Hollandaise sauce watery and bland. Bit disappointed. The BLT & Chicken Parma were good though.

Delicious, hadn't previously looked it up on Urban Spoon but I can guarantee that all these bad reviews are incorrectly listed, one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in Melbourne, and the serving sizes were brilliant!

The service is very good from a place like this, the staff are friendly and polite. Sometimes the waitresses don't understand what eye contact from a patron means though, and they have to be called over. It's not often this happens though, and overall the experience with them is good. The wait times are also excellent, even when busy we've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a meal, and the staff are always obliging when they know they've been busy.

The food is excellent, presentation is always a key feature and it's never disappointing. Generous meal sizes are always a staple, I've rarely finished a plate even when hungry! The meals are always delicious, which when considering the sheer number of dishes they serve, is an excellent feature. I've not tried every dish, so I can't vouch for them all, but their breakfasts are particularly nice, especially the freshly baked bread!

The place is nicely spaced, and very cosy. They've done well considering their positioning, but all the same I try to avoid the tables near to the fish shop opposite! They also have a gas fireplace and a TV, neither of which really do much to the atmosphere in my opinion but if that's what you like, it's enjoyable enough. Outside, being so near to a road can be problematic, but it's still a nice enough place to be.

The bakery is also excellent, we often go there simply for the pastries or the fresh sourdough bread, neither of which disappoint!
