A remarkable treasure of a building thankfully spared the wrecker's hammer and beautifully restored. Well worth a visit for the architecture alone. Contemporary art presentations come and go. Excellent licensed tea rooms offering affordable food and drinks.

Beautiful savoury scones & lovely service from very helpful staff. It is an amazing & magnificent building but there are not enough (or big enough) windows in the room to enjoy the beautiful outlook from the cafe. I'll only be heading back in the warmer weather, when i can sit outside.

Awesome contemporary art gallery, classy cafe and beautuful old historic building, perfect combination. Lovely tea spot to sit at the huge windows on a rainy day. The chef was experimenting with new ideas so we got a little taste.
