Review The Coffee Club - Burleigh Heads

Food was really good but quite pricey. Location is brilliant and staff are friendly. Coffee is on the slightly bitter and strong side of things, so if that’s your preference you’ll love it. It’s also easy to snag a table - there always seemed to be one as well as street dining in beautiful Burleigh.

A delicious spot for coffee, a bite to eat and people watching in Burleigh Heads. The food is always well prepared and delicious here - so is the coffee. We stopped here for a break during our shopping day over the last weekend. The staff provided excellent customer service. The views of Burleigh Heads beach and the park are so lovely we could have sat here all day. A great experience.

I ate here for breakfast, I chose to sit at a 2 seated small table away from all big tables for my space and as I was eating alone. I ordered eggs on toast with added chorizo which cost over $17. The breakfast was so tiny, the eggs were cooked well but the toast and chorizo were cut as if it was being fed to a 5 year old and tasted poor. I returned to the counter to order an iced coffee to enjoy at my quiet table when a worker tapped me on the shoulder. She asked me if I could move so that a walk in group of 6 could have my table to join to another. I kindly said that's fine I'll just leave and asked to cancel my drink. As I walked back to my table to gather my belongings, the same worker grabbed my keys and forcefully handed to me as she was rushing to prioritise this group over me and my table I had been enjoying the outside view. Unfortunately this has happened any experiences may vary but this was my experience. I strongly recommend the Paperbark Cafe which is only 20 metres away to enjoy a garden and outside experience for breakfast.

Need to pick the game up here, was there on the 1/1/19 with family and granddaughter 11 months old, waiting more than a hour for breakfast while trying to entertain a baby not fun, ordered the same meals as the Coffee Club in Wynnum that we eat at regularly and you would think the food was from another restaurant totally, not good. The only thing I would give them is it was busy, but they need to be prepared for that when I'm paying a extra 15% on a public holiday and I'm paying more than $140 for breakfast for 4 people and a baby.
Awesome Creations
Visited today with a friend who ordered a breakfast with 'poached' egg, it came out so over cooked it was dry. She asked politely for it to be replaced - the waitress was so rude to both of us, so we asked to speak to the manager - she was also rude. It seemed the waitress and manager were related, laughing and talking about us out the back before being as rude as possible. Will never go back again. I certainly don't need to spend my money in a place where they don't treat their customers with some form of respect.

This was a nice place with a good location, good food, good staff, good atmosphere - there seemed however to be a serious problem with the delivery of a simple cup of coffee to the table. I have been to this shop now three times but I don’t think I will go back despite the high quality of everything else - the amount of time it takes to get one cup of coffee made is simply unbelievable regardless of the lack of people or crowd of people - it seems to take a phenomenal amount of time to get one cup of coffee and it has happened time and again. The quality of the service and the ware is overridden by the phenomenally slow delivery. Unfortunately.

Had a great family breakfast today. Courteous staff were attentive to the specific ingredients of my omelette. They have me prior knowledge before ordering of what I could change. I felt like a valued customer. Thank you!

Though it was an extremely busy day in Burleigh today (due to the limited number of cafes open on Jan 1st) the staff and food at the Coffee Club were great. We were informed by the manager that the waiting time for food would be 45min-1hr and we elected to stay and wait, which was worth it as our lunch was wonderful Thanks to all at the Coffee Club!
