Review Burleigh Thai - Burleigh Heads

Yeah the boys wouldn't stop going on about this little gem so we thought about giving it a go. Now, you know how sometimes when you want walk into a Thai place and it looks a little sketchy it means your going to get a good feed? This place is exactly that. I got some fish cakes and the basil and chilli chicken stir fry. Tasty, spicy a generous portion and reasonably priced. So if your around burleigh and craving some thai definitely worth the visit. Ps, They also have byo at $1.20 a glass.

We dined here on a Sunday night. Pretty chill service and reasonable prices. I guess you get what you pay for because it isn’t great Thai food but affordable. BYO

Food was alright, cld be better. My tom yum when served to me was boiling hot burned my palate and my tongue on the first spoon. Then I waited few couple of minutes before starting to eat. I hope the chef read this and will allow the food to cool down before serving her customers

Disappointed with my Pad Thai. Bland and not much taste. It had lots of carrots cut in different sizes and thickness. Never had carrots in pad Thai before!

We've been here a number of times over the year. Always good quality Thai food for a very reasonable price. Less expensive than most places on the Coast and just as good!

Got the lunch special, $10 Chicken Pad Thai. It was very disappointing, small serving size and barely any chicken at all. I wouldn't go back if you paid me!

Forgot half the order. Over priced and half filled take away containers. We ordered take away and waited about 30 mins for the order, I drove home and when serving up dinner to my family they'd forgotten the 2x servings of spring rolls. When my partner called to notify them, they didn't care. "Oh well" attitude. When he drove back to collect them they acted as if they didn't know what he was talking about. Did not offer a refund for the spring rolls or apologise for the wasted time in driving back (& his dinner going cold at home). He had to ask them numerous times to cook fresh ones and give them to him. Never going back again. A major F##K around and a Sh!tty attitude from the staff.

The comment that this Thai is overpriced couldn't be further from the truth.burleigh Thai would have to be one of the cheapest on the Gold Coast. It's good flavours and always fresh. Never had any issues

Excellent Thai food. We had takeaway as the kids were knackered after a big day at the beach. The Pad Thai and Chicken Chilli Basil stir fry were spot on, as were the spring rolls. The kids even enjoyed it!

Love this little gem at the top of James St. Don't usually dine in as it's tight for room, but as it's just around the corner from home, we take away and it's been so flavoursome each time.<br/><br/>They offer set menus for stir fries, curries and the like, where you get the main accompanied by rice, 2 spring rolls and a drink for $18-$19. Brilliant value, and you won't be hungry afterwards.<br/><br/>Slight English barrier with the ladies who are super lovely so just make sure the order is read back :) ps. Don't ask for it too hot, as they're definitely not light on with the chilli 🌶 (I love chilli but I know most wouldn't like it so hot...)
