Review Woodpecker Bar And Grill - Burpengary

We have just moved in to the area and we're told how good the food was here so had to check it out. It was mid week and we popped in for an early dinner and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Rump steak and the chicken schnitzel and both were delicious. In fact that chicken was the best schnitzel I've ever had. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

had a lovely meal and drinks here. staff very friendly, girl singer was awesome. even had balloons on table as said it was a birthday occasion. brilliant atmosphere. had a great night.

Very down to earth tavern. Staff are a friendly bunch. Meal sizes are generous. Food was cooked great. Came out promptly. Prices were reasonable. Was live entertainment on the Friday night we went. Dining both indoors and a nice little outdoors area as well. All round great experience.. We will be back to try the pizza's.

Beautiful food. Massive portions for the very affordable price. My beef schnitzel was literally as long as my arm. We had leftovers for days. Would definitely return.

We had the Crumbed beef French and it was a really great meal. A nice piece of meat with no fat or gristle. It's a big meal, so bring your appetite. I couldn't finish it. 😊 Great prices for drinks too. Friendly staff and a great country pub feel. Couldn't ask for more.

Great food and service lovely atmosphere

Well where do I start. We went out for a birthday dinner, table had balloons yeh( balloons are good). Staff were awesome, friendly and welcoming. Then the food….. burgers were black on the outside and red on the inside and cold. Salmon was disappointing as burnt and very over cooked with Deb potatoes as the ‘sweet potato mash’. Half the food was sold out out and it was only 6pm. Overall atmosphere was nice but won’t be back.

The food here is amazing, I had a seafood platter and everything was cooked on point, fairly well rounded prices for the quality of the food, they do music bingo and other events, the staff are friendly and the bar tender does exquisite cocktails. Hard to get reservations for but the restaurant is almost cramped, and for that reason alone is why it went from a 5 to a 4.
