I had bits of fried duck with some stuff in a rich sauce - not much duck meat, mostly just bits attached to the bones, so I don’t think it deserves the premium duck pricing (serves are big but seem to cost more than similar food in the city). The flavour was so rich and spicy though. Combined with the Sichuan fried rice, it wasn’t super spicy but built up over the meal to a deep, warm heat slowly burning the entire mouth in a very pleasant manner.
The food is amazing here, particularly the stir fry lamb ribs (almost every table in the restaurant ordered one), so moorish, perfect with a beer. The hot & spicy pork dumplings and green beens were delicious as well. Shame that the service was average & the amenities were bit run down, (the toilet door lock was broken, no toilet paper).

Nice place opposite to Burwood Westfield. Good place to hang out with ftiends and family. Also good for couples. Foods are tasty. Portion was good. I felt foods are a little bit expensive.
This restaurant has an extensive menu which includes photos for reference. The staff are young and attentive. We ordered the broccoli, eggplant without mince, green beans without mince and a meat dish for my family. All the food came out really fast, hot and fresh. Portions were decent and the dishes were presented nicely.

I've always liked this restaurant and always get the cold dish beef with tongue and tripe in chilli sauce, it is a bit spicy for me but it is so delicious. It is best to order steamed rice to go with the dish as the flavors are very intense.
Today, we also had the sichuan style fried rice as well as the pork and chive dumplings. The fried rice was average, I couldn't really taste anything unique or the sichuan influence. The dumplings had a nice thin skin and well seasoned filling. If you like, you can take the sauce from the cold beef dish and eat it with the dumplings, which is super yummy.
I'd recommend to come here with a group so you can try many dishes.
Also, the most recent time I came to this restaurant, they now charge per person for tea. If you don't wish to be charged, you can decline the tea.
Tasty food!! Right amount of chilli in the cold entree dishes (forgot to take a photo), interesting texture in the yolk coated corn, and the sour fish soup was simply delightful!!
I love red chilli Sichuan restaurant. I literally licked my lips for 9 days and 9 nights after eating the 'Lamb ribs with cumin seasoning' to try and extract any remaining trace of that flavour from my pathetic excuse for a moustache.
The dan dan noodles weren't on the menu as far as I could tell but I asked for them anyway and what I got back for $12 (ish) was a Bowl big enough to was a human child in filled with damn good noodles and damn good soup. They should change the name to Damn Damn noodles coz that's how good they are and they made my lips all tingly too, like when Demi Moore's character kissed Patrick Swayze's character in the movie where he was a ghost. SPOOKY.
Ordered some other stuff too like the kung pao chicken. Twice. 🔥🔥
Portions were big. Dry chilli chicken was really tasty but unfortunately it got lots of MSG. I believe it would still be tasty if they put less or no MSG
Quick service, had little trouble communicating to the server, food was great. Cold noodle, Chicken with chillies and chopped onion pancake was great, stir fried noodles and spring rolls were usual. Now on my favourite restaurant list!
This restaurant serves very authentic Sichuan food. Foods are very flavourful, portions are generous and prices are fair. Service has always been friendly and quick. Overall a great place to have dinner if you're feeling like spicy food!
Great place to eat if you love spicy food.
Almost every food on the menu here is spicy, despite it all being spicy food, each dish all have their own unique taste to it.
Absolutely recommended for anyone who likes a good kick of sichuan pepper and chillies.Every dish in this very conveniently located restaurant is worth a try.
Highly recommended this place for anyone who likes a numbing taste of Sichuan pepper and chilies. We ordered Lamb Ribs and Chili Chicken, both dishes were awesome. Love the taste and presentation. Staff was very nice too.
This was the first time trying Sichuan food and I was impressed. One to visit with Chinese friends as service was attentive and serving size was quite generous. Tip for first-timers: go mild or you’ll be in for a long night (and next morning)!
