Thankyou for your wonderful service , Aunty and yourself are very welcoming at 9pm and recommendation of the Hakka soup ( with bitter melon) to have it separate with the marinade pork mince noodles are tops
Your Hainan chicken rice is delicious too .
My mother and daughter also enjoyed the Lychee & Green Tea icecream with a surprise strawberry Panacotta on the side
We will be back soon
Say no more ... Glorious food! Will be back soon, very soon
Nice change from the Chinese food in Burwood.
Rickshaw offers Singaporean/Malaysian cuisine with an extensive menu including dessert.
The portions are generous and decently priced
Service was quick and the staff were great
Would recommend
What was ordered:
Vegetarian laksa 🍜 (spicy)
Seafood fried rice 🍚 (spicy)
Green tea bingsu with jelly 🍧
Generous serving sizes where we could not finish our mains. It was quite well priced and everything tasted fresh and flavoursome. The utensils for the dessert were a little less functional to eat but I would highly recommend the green tea bingsu.
I finally got to try this place and I was not disappointed. We loved each dish that came out, it was so flavoursome. The service was friendly, they give out complimentary dessert of the day with every $15 spent. The lunch menu is also value for money. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.
Nice small space. Very large menu of options. Prices are reasonable. Service was prompt and food arrived reasonably fast. Portion size was good. Menu item says dish comes with lime wedge but was actually served lemon which, to me changes the flavour a bit. My sambal wasn't stirfried into the dish, on the side. If I go back i would ask for it to be stirfried into dish for preferred flavour. Would go back to try other dishes. Their hainan chicken looked plump and juicy.
Love coming to this place! We love the dry laksa, chicken curryand beef rendang. All very good, very flavourful dishes. We haven't seen another place do dry laksa. Their range of dessert and drinks is amazing as well. Highly recommend this place. Every time we go to burwood we gravitate towards coming back here because the food is amazing!
We had the dry noodles , hainese chicken and beef rendang with rice . All dishes were tasty! The dry noodles with pork sounds simple but the whole mix was so flavoursome , I finished the whole bowl! The chicken was succulent and the gingered shallots perfectly matched it . Beef was nice too, rich and tasty! We revived a complementary red bean dessert which looked strange at first, like a maroon soup. It was paired with coconut cream and still warm - beautiful finish to the meal on a cold day. We loved it all . Thank you

I love Singapore and Malaysian Food. Try this place for the first time and not disappointed. The spicy bean fish with kangkong so good. They cooked really well! Love the flavour, if you want to taste Singaporean dishes, must try this place
If you are one of those who think Singaporean food is better than Malaysian, specifically Penang’s; then remain in your cave!! Just kidding- on a serious note, we walked by this place when we visited last week and thought let’s give this a try.
We weren’t disappointed. Had the:
1. Curry Chicken with Egg noodle = huge portions- both meat & veg plus noddle and def value for money. Noodles were springy, covered with lovely coconut milk smelling curry sauce.
2. Hokkien Fried Prawn noodles = again, big portions with lots of filling. Tossing up between this and Mee Siam, we’ll be back to try the latter.
3. Mince meat Dry noodle = ‘bak chor mee’ to Singaporean locals, the kids easily shared between themselves for a fulfilling meal. My 8YO said: “this is good- do Malaysians have this??” 😤
4. Nanyang milk coffee = average really. If you don’t fancy the more sugary coffees, eg HK or Thai style then this is for you.
5. Egglet (chocolate) = tasty, crispy with soft insides. Am not sure what I was expecting but $5.80 felt a tad pricy.
All in all a pleasant experience.Definitely will be back, just have to don my Singaporean disguise when infiltrating ‘enemy’ territory. 🧥

Nice place for Singapore food and dessert. Foods are delicious and reasonably priced. The portion was good. Tha place is good for two people as well as for hanging out with friends. They were offering free dessert with any food ordered, picture taken and shared on Facebook.
First of all, their fish is really nice. Like the one offered with the Singaporean sauce. Fish is crunchy and also full of flavour.
Also tried hainan chicken, some stir fried vegetables and noodles there. All very good!!! Just note that some of the stir fried vegetables are VERY spicy. Likely to cough if you’re can’t take too much chilli.
Standard Asian restaurant service type, where you get menu and go up to order. But food provide was tasty and awesome, had Mongolian noodle and some ice jelly. The noodles was fantastic, had the right elasticity and packed a punch. The ice jelly really goes well after a spicy noodle dish.
Went here using a groupon. Hassle free scanning and the options was explained clearly. Decent noodles but nothing too spectacular though
I love Chonqing Street noodles and crave it regularly. Great for spicy food lovers - I always get extra spicy classic noodles, tea egg and tofu salad.
Loved their noodles and spice. Chicken in the noodle was super tender and infused beautifully with home made chilly sauce. Got a jar of the chilly sauce and am so excited to try it out with my food. The staff are also friendly and lovely. I'll definitely go back for their lovely dishes.
Very flavoursome food. Somewhat exotic if you are into offal!
Great cheap feed for noodle lovers! Noodles are handmade and are quite delicious, Colours and flavours are strong and has a nice spicy kick. Will try other dishes so I definitely would visit again. Lots of people will be quite happy here for value.
