Review Oliver Brown - Burwood

Nicely located in front of the Event Cinema. providing various different chocolate indulgence & deserts. They are still open at 8 pm even though google maps showing it is closed. Friendly staff and has some promotion as well. The coffee is good and well made đź‘Ť

An overall score of 84/100 The service here is quite pleasant, with the person taking the order offering politeness despite our later in the day patronage (late arvo). We ordered drinks only, and the hot chocolate really does not fail to disappoint. Both the crunchy balls milk hot chocolate with soy, as well as the mint crunchy balls hot chocolate were an absolute taste extravaganza. The latter was also quite decent, though this was probably the area for opportunity in our visit. Nice, quiet sitting. It would be fantastic if the cafe also invested in its own Wifi offered to customers, as the Westfield network is really quite bad in the little corner that the cafe is in. Would recommend this location.

If you are in Burwood Westfield and looking for a good coffee then look no further just go to Oliver Brown opposite to the Event Cinemas. I have been going here for a few years and the coffee taste has never failed me…

I’ve been in this place last week with a friend of mine. I ordered white hot chocolate, he ordered milk hot chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I tasted both chocolates and I was not enthusiastic about the taste, but not because they were not well made, I think it’s something personal, nothing else was wrong with those. They closed quite early, I guess because of the covid-19, so we had to leave.

I love Oliver Brown’s chocolate! This is the third Oliver’s for me. In all of them i tried the same things to make a comparison. This is the best for what I love most, in here: “churros”! Perfectly cooked (for my taste), and the chocolate...well, you must try.

The guy who did the coffee must had a bad mood this morning. Such a bad attitude, he better be trained how to serve customers.

Great coffee and sweets. Fresh. Well made. We sit in the corner and it's a nice little nook to have a little while out!

Coffee is nice but the service and staff are rude. Went to pay for my coffee using eftpos and wasn’t told about the extra surcharge for not using cash, there wasn’t even a sign to explain this either. I would rather go else where.

The upstairs seating is a prime position overlooking the entrance to the cinemas, and is the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee and treat if waiting for people to come out of the movies. There’s a bit of a wait on the churros, presumably because they are made fresh but they’re worth the wait. The sharing size for two comes with two chocolate pots; we opted for dark and milk chocolate and there was more than enough for dipping the churros.

I am regular visitor of Oliverbrown for its hot chocolate 🍫 and waffles . Coffee and small tart are also good. The best thing about Oliver brown is it's opened till midnight.

Love my Oliver brown, but this Oliver brown was a bit disappointing. Initial contact noted the staff were welcoming but seemed quite distracted and it showed in the final order being wrong. We ordered a large chocolate mocha on skim and was asked to confirm multiple times but still ended up with a milk chocolate mocha on full cream milk. After letting the staff member know she did little to assist in the matter and turned away quickly. Very disappointed. The cafe is nice though, and the area was clean but the service really impacted my experience.

Was given horrible attitude by the register,, was not greeted nor addressed. When my green tea latte came out,, the froth was horrible and was not the closets thing to fine. When I asked for a replacement,, not apology was given.. Not worth it at all,, a few more steps and the one in the station def more worth it

Do you want decadence? You have found the right place. The hot chocolate here is like pure melted Belgian chocolate with cream, so rich, so comforting, so naughty but oh so good. You can add toppings like crunchy balls or flavours like mint or coconut. There are cold versions too & they are like super shakes. This means no excuses for not visiting whether it be summer or winter. They arw known for their waffles which are delicious with any topping but my fave is the banana & walnut. I also love the baked churros, with that crispy cinnamon sugar covered outside & fluffy interior. It tastes healthier too being baked. There is also a range of gelato & cakes which are nice but I wouldnt go out of my way for them here. Leave room for decadent drinks and waffles or churros!

Come here every week for a meeting. Coffee here is pretty standard. They have a large selection of cakes and sweets however I'm not much of a sweet tooth.
