Ordered 3 dishes, 1) cold chilli chicken: the chicken with peanut on top was tasty but the cucumber soaked in unfavoured chilli oil was very unpleasant 2) Xiao long bao had odd shape and thick skin. Pretty sure they came out from the packet in the frozen aisle of the Asian grocery 3) clams stirred in chilli bean sauce was very enjoyable. clams were fresh, not the usual chilli sauce taste and it was very tasty. They will do better if they get rid of the items on the menu that are there just for the sake of having more choices.

When I entered this restaurant, it has no customer and I thought as I am the only customer, I would get my food very fast. Unfortunately, I need to wait my take away food (stir fry noodle with meat & veggies for at least 15 minutes. The food itself was quite nice and very generous in serving. I will come back again but when I am not in a rush for future.

Food and service wasn’t too bad, but I can see why it’s so quiet and empty when we arrived. The food wasn’t as fresh as we would’ve liked and the food wasn’t very authentic.

Its a small place. Price of food is very reasonable. Portion of food is ok. The shop remains open till midnight on week days. I visited after 11 pm. The aircondition was off and switched on for like 15 min and switched off again. That was weird. However, the waitress was polite. Taste of food was ok.

The food here is always tasty and great value for money. Our favourite dishes are fish fillet in spicy oil (the fish is so tender), chicken in special wine sauce and the stir fried okra and mushroom. But today we tried the mud crab in spicy sauce which was full of flavour

Took 30minutes for the food to come out and when it did wasn’t nice. Cheap but not worth it. The place seems a little dirty, the bases of the water bottles had gunk all lined out the exterior, unpleasant to look at and hence didn’t drink any of the water.

Wouldn’t go again.
Really a 3 star rating for food but the extra star goes to their lunch special. Sieu Lon Bow for $1 more. This gives them a level up.

I see people having huge mango drinks as well but it’s not my thing.
Noodle are average

I couldn’t say I dislike it all but I have nothing to recommend here. Is just simple. Not to hard in ur pocket. Perfect for the end of the month or when u want to eat cheap ok food

Delicious Shanghainese food, good place to try new things - the four flavour soup dumplings (including one with a strawberry wrapper, surprisingly works really well!) and stir fried rice cakes with pork were our favourites!

Had my meal here tonight, I ordered Xiao long Bao, Drunken chicken, beef noodles and also fried noodles. The food was unfresh, the pork tasted weird, chicken tasted strange and also the beef noodles is the hot pot beef just boiled and put on top of the noodles and putting few scoops of spice of Lao Gan Ma. Waiting period was 45 mins for the dishes and we were also allocated to a two people seat where people would hang around to pay and having their butts facing us when we are eating, don't really understand why does 6 people have to hang around for paying for one table when there is a table right next to them.
It was just uncomfortable and I really do not recommend it...

Delicious and fresh. I usually always order the same - spring rolls and a wonton noodle soup. They take orders over the phone in English. Good service and very friendly. I've been here many tins and will keep coming back.

A cheap food place. So do not expect too much for the service and ingredients. Overall the taste is not bad, especially the congee dishes. Like to order the country style fried ribs. Sometimes the quality is not stable.

Real comfort food :) Especially for congee. Tasty.

Dinner at Emperor's Bowl... -- The Food -- Minced Beef with Raw Egg served on rice in hotpot ($9.80) The rice was not cooked in the hotpot, it was scooped in; hence, not hot enough. There's too much rice to minced beef. The beef was very tender, I wonder if the beef was soaked in sodium bicarbonate to make it tender? Don't expect much from this dish. Chicken Congee ($8.80) The congee was quite smooth (thanks to corn starch). The chicken was probably soaked in sodium bicarbonate as the natural chicken texture was completely lost. Taste was alright but probably would not get this again. Overall, the food wasn't that great but I can't complain too much as each dish is quite cheap.

YEs and No. First time here we had a good experience but the second time was bad, there was only 1 of 5 dishes that were good and the mushroom dish was the worse, it had no taste and i couldnt eat much of it. Not even worth taking it home
Ambience wise its cramp in there
Service was ok, food came out at a reasonable rate
Price were reasonable too
Not sure if i'll be back though, the last time was a major disappointment
