Xihuahua 🐶 was excited about the $1 soft serve deal. I thought why not... It was pretty milky actually. Better than maccas soft serve. No waffle cone like shown in the advertising material though. Just a typical tasteless cone which was alright. Edible ice cream holder is ok.
Just the right amount of sweetness..little hard on the outside and creamilicious baked melting cheese on the inside.. the taste lingers for quite a while after relishing it. One is never enough. Have tried their blueberry , strawberry and yuzu flavour but nothing beats their classic one. Dessert Binge 😊
I had the original cheese tart and it was still pretty fresh. The cheese flavour is quite light and the filling is creamy and thick. The tart shell was buttery and on the thicker side but it was good because it didn't fall apart
One big thing for me is to get two Hokkaido tarts and enjoy them at home!
I personally like warm tart rather than cold one.
The difference between Uncle Tetsu and Hokkaido tart is the Hokkaido tart has light cheese flavour but Uncle gets stronger thicker cheese flavour, sometime you feel a little bit sour.
Totally different from Italian cheese or Greek cheese.
Beautiful creamy cheese tarte. Although, I had better ones. The crust was not that crunchy and it was quite thick. It'is also not that sweet, which I think most people will probably like, but, I've got a sweet tooth so, it didn't really appeal to me that much.
Giving you 3.5 stars ;)

I love Hokkaido cheese tarts & they are one of the things I over indulge in when in Japan, so I was super excited when this store opened up. Selling only 2 products - the classic original cheese tart & a chocolate version, these beauties have a short, thin, buttery base & soft, runny, lightly tangy cheese filling with a burnished top. It's delectable, indulgent yet not too heavy like a traditional cheesecake. The chocolate version tastes like a tangy nutella. I love both, depending on the mood!
This dessert outlet is located in Westfield Burwood. The tarts are irresistible. A gorgeous short crust with a creamy cheesy filling. Enough said.
