Review Mee The Noodle House - Burwood

My go-to eatery in Burwood ! Highly recommend their crispy chicken with tomato rice. Also comes with a small bowl of soup :) Portions are generous, chicken was tender and the skin was cooked beautifully. Their chicken and seafood noodle soup was also very good. Huge portions and generous amount of meat. Food came in fresh and fast, and the staff are efficient. Also plenty of seats in the restaurant :) Definitely check it out !

Edit: came try other dish - tried beef wat tan hor, it was delicious. Portion size is big too. Pretty good for food court food. Has their own seatings inside. Highly recommend their hainanese chicken rice! Har mee was a bit too salty for me. Would come back to try other dishes.

Mediocre chicken Laksa. Chicken has no flavour. Fried tofu was watery. Soup is nice. But it's lacking. Won't be back

$11 for 2 choices not cheap . But seriously the size of the serving plate is the size of my palm, really?? Lol my hands are small tbh. For this price you need to be slightly more generous

Generous portions and a choice of a buffet or order a la carte. Took my house guests for lunch and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Inez always take care of our vegetarian needs too.

Me and my wife come here fairly regularly as we do our groceries here. We found the place a little hit and miss with the food and are generally not great. The noodle dishes especially lacks taste and I would say it's a bit of an emergency that they really need to go back to the drawing board to find the best mix of sauces to make the noodle soup better. Imagine a place where the display food are actually their best tasting food. My wife is Malaysian and we definitely love our Malaysian dishes. We would not recommend this place if you're used to the amazing Malaysian dishes that touches every aspect of your taste buds as you'll only be disappointed. if you haven't tried it before, it's definitely worth at least a try as everyone's taste buds are different.

Always greeted with a friendly warm smile from the boss lady. Been hitting this place up when I'm in the area for the past 6 years. Mee @ Burwood Westfield's. Any of their specials. Cheap eats. Good food. Enough said. Not to be confused with any other Mee in the franchise.

Nice service. Low prices, Large selection of dishes. Unfortunately, Laksa does not taste like laksa. Waiting time to order 15 minutes.

Catered for a family lunch. Delicious food and Inez paid attention to all the special requests too. The chilli sauce and pickled chillies added the perfect accompaniment to our meal. The kids raved about the Thai chilli chicken wings. Will try them out again.

Go there every week for the best Combination Fried Egg Noodles in Sydney. Never had a bad one, the seafood and vegetables are always fresh and generous and the staff friendly and helpful. My wife and I are guilty of polishing off their pickled chillies every visit, sorry about that!

Regularly came here over two years. I recommend ordering off their menu instead of the hot food bar. I particularly enjoyed their hor fun with extra fresh chilli.

At the Lidcombe Shopping Centre the Mee Noodle House - food comes out quick, like 3-4 minutes quick when its its not busy. The taste is simple for the everyday. High valve for money, food containers are usually jammed packed. Theres some off the menu items for the adventurous. No peanuts which is a plus for those who have allergy concerns. For the money you are paying its five star.

Located opposite Coles in Burwood Westfields, this place has its own seating which is a major plus when you see the other small take aways have to share limited seating. For $10 it's 2 choices and portion size is generous. My chick satay stick had no satay taste to it what so ever. It was what you would get from a kebab shop. It just found it ok

I don't normally visit many places in shopping centres but heard about Mee Noodle House from work colleagues. It is located on the ground floor of Westfield and has some preprepared food at the front but has seating inside. The menu covers a variety of Asian dishes including Thai, Malaysian and Chinese food. I ordered the chicken pad Thai for $12.50, it only took 5 mins to come out. There was a massive plate of piping hot pad Thai noodles with a very generous portion of chicken. If you are looking for food in Westfield or Burwood for that matter I would recommend visiting the noodle house. Take a friend of you are not a massive eater as the meals are definitely on the large size.

Portion wise I give it a four, but taste wise... Uhm~ if you want better Malay food, go to strathfield mall hojiak instead. I've had Har Mee and it's unbelievably sweet. 😩
