Pancake filled with cream patisserie, not too sweet, also Served with 2 small served of vanilla ice cream and matcha cream, and chocolate sauce, which not too sweet.
Every flavor was perfect and complimented each item very well.
1st try here, nice little shop with japanese style ambience.

Cool place, went for the novilty and wasnt disappointed! Helpful staff, others mentiomed a one dish minimum per person we didnt have this we got 2 dishes for myself husband and son. Tad pricey but not overly so, id go again
Great place for some dessert. Very helpful and friendly staff when it comes to accomodating, & assisting customers. Also bonus points for the fact that I somehow dropped my wallet & the staff located me, & returned it immediately. Extremely thankful. As a whole, I definitely recommend this place. Their desserts are not only tasty, but also very aesthetic, & too cute to eat, at times.
We went there on a Thursday during lunch time so it was quiet and the service was good. We got the matcha shaved ice with the rice pudding with the red bean and the black sesame with rice pudding with hojicha jelly and honey osmanthus jelly. Both of them melted in my mouth and i loved how flakey it was.
The matcha had a more bitter flavour than sweetness, which was to my liking and i enjoyed the sides that it came with. The red bean was amazing and didn't taste like it came straight from a tin.
The sesame was my favourite. I could not fault, however the hojicha jelly had a weird taste to it.

Yummy! It’s so cute to have te Monster ice cream with many options of the taste for us to choose and took pictures! It’s not too sweet to have the dessert after dinner! Highly recommend for you to hang out with your friends for dessert!
The food was alright and it seems like a place for kids. It tasted alright. Like I’ll be honest it’s not the best in the world but there was nothing wrong with it. I think it’s a great NOVELTY food.
I have been here a couple of times, great place for dessert. Good concept when ordering. Looks like the hype has died down now. Not much of a lime these days. I can get my fix any time now.
I was so excited to try this place out & absolutely loved it. The waffle is a must if you pay a visit. Incredibly soft and tastes amazing. The ice cream wasn’t as sweet (which i love) soft and was very enjoyable. One of my favourite desserts spots and would always be down to go

The cutest little monster cafe! I was able to walk in straight away and the staff was so friendly and polite. There’s even merchandise you can purchase which is super super cute resembling their signature monster.
The way to order is through a little card and you stamp which ice cream and two sides you’d like which is fun. You then go to the cashier and order any extras as well. The wait is not too long and the atmosphere is super cute. There is even a traditional area where you can take your shoes off and sit on a small table on the ground in a different area!
The ice cream itself was super cute. I tried the strawberry yoghurt flavour with the sides oreo cream cheese and salted cherry jelly. The two sides were average but the ice cream was pretty delicious. I also ordered a Matcha Zenzai, which had one of the cutest presentation ever. The dessert itself was warm and full of matcha goodness, perfect for any matcha lover.
Perfect to go with friends and admire the adorable decor and atmosphere. The music is relaxing and you are sure to leave happy!
Very cute dessert , Love the dessert but the drinks are not the best . Suitable for girls more then boys . Good to see something new pop up in burwood. They are opening a new one in cbd , will check out later when they open
Reasonable price considering the large portion. Really aesthetic and different seating options (tatami, high table, table). Service was relatively quick
I love it. The matcha ice cream is legit along side with cute Japanese side dishes. Will definitely go back again. The portion a quite big which can be shared between two persons
Such a cute little cafe. Love the self serve idea and the variety of toppings you can choose from to go with your ice cream. Came here to try the ice cream but actually found the waffle to be the winner. So tasty! The minimum spend per customer is annoying.

Roji Monster is the new hype in Burwood and it’s obvious why. The cutest shaved ice ice cream you will ever eat! The setting for the cafe is so cute and they even have a low seating area. It’s mostly self service but the waitstaff are very nice and polite. The ice cream flavours were super strong and very delicious. The monster waffle was hot and crispy on the outside. Love love love!

I loved the creativity in both their ice cream and drinks, they’re all little monsters and the colours and textures are amazing.
Service could improve as they were a bit confused as people came in (it gets really busy and often there’s a line to get in)
Prices are high for ice cream so it’s a place to come for a special treat.

This super cute and cozy dessert parlour has friendly staff but most is self service. It’s a minimum requirement that each person orders at least one dish, which is good for maintaining seating, but can lead to wasting food...
The shaved Matcha and Black sesame is ‘strong’ in flavor which was perfect for me. The soft serve is very milky. The Hojicha latte requires that you add the marshmallow (sugar) in so the tea isn’t too bitter, but for me after putting the whole thing in it did become too sweet. The waffle was okay, but the matcha spread paired perfectly!

I personally love the matcha and black sesame monsters (not pictured) and I don’t really like the strawberry one but it’s a hit and it might just be me.
The waffles however were unexpectedly perfect. Crispy on the outside, so soft in the inside. Accompanied by my choices of soft serve. YAS!
The one desert shop that I will recommend to people, when you come to burwood must come!, the creativity to make ice cream look Roji Monster, love the milk and matcha flavour. For topping the one with oreo cheese is my favorite. The atmosphere seem like japanese architecture, nice and pretty
nice place to have a rest and chatting with friends. For 3 flavour ice cream. I prefer the sesame one.not too sweet. But the drink not impress me. Hope will have more new specific drinks.
Bit of a one tricky pony... those monster shaved ice are very cute and Insta worthy. For $14 you get there plus 2 sides of your choice. The shaved ice were very dense, but it’s just not as satisfying as an ice cream. The other few offerings fair a lot better. The marshmallow toast (s’mores) & waffle were quite yummy. Definitely a place you should visit once to get the photo, but probably won’t return.
Waited half hour for this . The waffle is really good. The ice cream is different and not so sweet. Worth to try and will come back for other things on the menu .
Ice cream is very good. Especially the cocoa. Matcha latte is on point. Perfect. Only complaint is the seating / space arrangement. It is insane. More space needed between those table of two peoples as we cant move and very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy eating dessert at the same time. Hope feedback is useful.
The most adorable ice cream place to go. Each flavour is yummy and rich. Just ordered anything you want, if you are a sweet-tooth you will like them all.
This place has been a hype since it’s opening.. finally tonight I needed desert and so happy this new place was close by... the store is sooo cute.. full of cute monsters and cool jap hype deco. The ice cream isn’t too sweet.. very jap style.. and 14 dollars you can choose two different sides with it.. great new place to hang with my girlfriends 👯

Really soft matcha and black sesame shaved ice. Cute presentation and really tasty. The Sakura jelly is my favourite topping and also the oshmanthus.. their shaved ice not too sweet and perfect
This Roji monster ice cream place is originally from Taiwan which actually a Japanese inspired dessert place so no wonder they will greet you with "Irrashaimase" so next time you come here, you won't get confused.
I like their minimalist interior with normal seating and tatami seating area, I have been visiting this place twice and tried Uji Matcha, French Cocoa and Black Sesame flavours. I love on how they create the strong Matcha and Cocoa flavours, it really suits me well. They have a unique way to order with the flavour card and topping stamps.
I recommend you to also order their Monster waffle and you can thank me later. The crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside will blown you away, I didn't expect the waffle would be that good.

Very cute little place for dessert located in Burwood. It’s definitely one of a kind. I waited about 15 minutes to be seated which is not too bad for a Friday night. Service was excellent and everyone was polite and smiling. They have tables and also a little seperate area where you sit on a square pillow on the floor and you have to take your shoes off so be sure to ask for a table if that bothers you.
Overall I had a great experience and will be returning.
Me and my friend got the matcha and chocolate shaved ice here and it was pretty nice to have. Portion size is enough (a medium bowl each) and their matcha latte was a delight to drink. However, I didn’t like how the minimum spending was $10 which is pretty unfair for a lot of customers. Overall, it was a good first experience and I wouldn’t mind going back.
The ice matcha latte has nice flavor with the cream cheese on top similar to other bubble tea shop. The shop was very organised and service was efficient.
The interior is very cute and simplistic and the staff there are very nice and welcoming. There was so many different and unique toppings to choose from and the shaved ice had a very soft smooth consistency.
A post dinner satisfaction! New addition to Burwood this little dessert place serves up shaved ice and delicious waffles.
