Review Nando's - Burwood

Friendly service and great food in a nice location. Your usual Nando’s branch — as another reviewer said, they get consistency down well! Food was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Chicken was very small and the cost of Nando's seems to going up and the chicken gets smaller. Food is always great. Its now becoming a very expensive dinner option because you have to get double the quantity.

I visited the Nando’s Burwood store for lunch and ordered classic Avacado Goodness Vegetarian Burger meal with Cheesy Garlic mini Pita. I am Vegetarian and have never ate Chicken in my life. While ordering I told at counter that I am vegetarian and asked what are the options in Vegetarian aNd ordered the Vegetarian burger. BUT I was served Chicken burger. When I took the first bite I was totally shocked and felt something is not right and found that it was something else. I did not know it was chicken inside as I never ate one. When I called staff she only told me it is chicken and she realised the mistake in the order served and replaced that with vegetarian burger. But I could not finish that and enjoyed it as feeling of having chicken was still there. It spoiled my lunch.

I was delighted to find this store provides sauce bottles from behind the counter while the others have removed them completely! The bird was a generous size and very tasty as expected however if I had to criticise it was not quite as moist as my current favourite store which is Lysterfield. This was a small but nicely presented store and the service was very good.

I suggest grabbing a pizza before ordering at Nandos. Waited an eternity for our order of 2 supremos and 2 regular chips which we noticed once on our way home we received one chips. Four items surely isn't that hard to get right is it? Not to mention everything was cold. Won't be back 👎

This is one of the last standing Nandos that is actually fantastic. I hope you never close, like all the others sadly have! Keep up the great work!!! 😍 The difference form your quality to the local shopping centre is insane.

Unfair for people like me who are struggling at the moment, I lost my business recently and my account is in limbo however have enough cash for food for the week. Embarrassing to have to order food and be rejected because I cannot pay with my card only to notice the little "card only" sign on the door or my way out. Will not be spending another cent at any of your stores, cashless shows you are only happy to serve a certain class of customers

One of the most consistent world-wide restaurant chains. The sauce is identical to what I have in Malaysia and it is great. Nando’s been good with their chicken seasoning, packed with flavors. Nando’s Burwood one might be understaffed as tables are left uncleared most of the time I visited. The chicken Maryland grilled to perfection and we enjoyed the every bit of it. The chicken breast is a little dried up. The tropical summer wrap is a perfect match between pineapple and chicken tenders. Will always be back for more grill chicken with their great sauce. We can skip the chips though, not crispy and drenched.

Very disappointed, ordered the quinoa salad with tenderloins at a total of $15 ....what a joke Mostly spinach , 2 small tomato’s...1/2 inch of feta and had to search for the quinoa....Not good enough �

Came into Nandos for a snack. It was pretty busy but I didn't have to wait too long to be served.<br/><br/>The server was very friendly, professional and efficient. <br/>I received my chips after several minutes. <br/><br/>Unfortunately, they were limp and not crunchy at all. <br/>They also hardly had any peri peri salt... Not a great experience. It's usually hit and miss with different Nandos branches and today was a miss.

Great meal here at Nando’s! A classic for hot chips & roasted chicken.<br/><br/>The exterior/interior is typical of all other Nando’s. The space was clean, not cramped & well lit.<br/><br/>We ordered a whole chicken & the largest chip size to share. The chicken was BBQ/milk basting, which was tasty & juicy. The chips were fresh & cooked, and had good seasoning coverage.<br/><br/>The staff were super friendly & welcoming.

Went in today 40 degrees outside and 38 degrees inside, why because the aircon doesn't work. How people eat or work in these conditions is astonishing. At least the Chicken and Chips were good.<br/><br/>Old Reveiw: Nando's as it should be, no problem here. The chicken is seasoned to perfection and the chips salted correctly. It's a great dine in experience as the store is clean and well maintained.

This outlet is consistently better compared to several other Nando’s outlets in Melbourne. Staff are attentive and the chickens are grilled and presented according to customers’ request. Well done!

Have heard a lot about Nando's over the years and finally got a chance to visit.<br/>Located at the Burwood One Shopping Centre, this outlet is decently sized and the ambience is colorful & quirky.<br/><br/>What we ordered?<br/>We were in mood for some burgers so went ahead & got ourselves 2 supremo burgers , 1 veggie burger & some peri peri chips.<br/>While ordering, you need to mention the type of sauce you wanna add to your food - MILD , HOT , EXTRA HOT.<br/>We chose the Hot sauce..<br/><br/>The burgers were great, really fresh & soft buns and quite filling. Chicken was juicy & tender. Great flavour thanks to the hot sauce. The peri peri chips were good. We also tried the Extra Extra Extra Hot sauce and man it was great!<br/>Being Indians, we love spicy food and this place is amazing for spicy food lovers.<br/><br/>The only criticism if I could find was the veggie burger didn't have any cheese. I mean you can add buy paying a dollar or two but what's a burger without cheese.<br/><br/>The staff was polite & friendly. So happy that Nandos Head Office forced this Franchise Owner out and took over Melbournes One and only Training Nando's where everything New is tested. Great food, atmosphere, vibe, everything you would expect from a Restaurant....except one little thing....<br/><br/>1. Once you pay, you sit....and they dont care about you as the business transaction is done. BUT I cant use this against them....they are afterall....a fast food outlet......so my 4 stars went back up to 5 stars.

Chicken was well seasoned, not dry or overcooked. Servings of chips were generous and i love how Nando's has numerous bottles of sauce to use for no extra price. Always find it a little overpriced but necessary if you're craving Portugese chicken. Lovely atmosphere at this branch, lovely service. Pretty standard for Nando's.

One of the better Nando's I've been to! Always clean and the service is good! Also very handy that it's so close to Kmart hehehe!!<br/><br/>I always order the Superfuel Salad with Grilled Chicken. It is always packed with ingredients - and the chicken is always tender and grilled to perfection! I also tend to order myself a side of peri-peri chips, and of course these are incredible too. I do find the price-point of Nando's quite high in comparison to similar establishments but I suppose I can't complain as I feel I get my money's worth with that big tasty salad :-)

Nando's has always been a disappointment and I am always wondering why people go there and this occasion is no different. It's over priced for the lack of quality paid for where the chicken isnt tender and the whole burger just isnt wholesome..... foodies stay away from Nando's as a whole and don't cave for your friends to go there, I have learnt my lesson.

The chips got put in the bottom of the bag, soggy as.<br/>Chicken ribs all burnt and they think it's ok to leave like that.<br/>Extra hot chicken not even coated with enough sauce.<br/>Used to come here. But will never come back again

WAS my fav nandos branch. Now can't even get my simple order right and then when I politely asked about it they insult my intelligence by lying to me about it. Rubbish. Will try Glen or Forest Hill next time.

My experience in brief: <br/>1. They got my order wrong<br/>2. Didn't have a tap water, and they charge customers for bottled water<br/>3. Didn't have enough sauce and brought some (a bit) to me in a separate small bowl, which was very unprofessional for a business like Nando's<br/>4. I ordered lemon and herb on my whole chicken and it came out plain and didn't have no taste at all<br/>5. Chicken was burnt (photos supplied) <br/>6. Service was absolutely terrible and the staff had a attitude towards me when i asked a simple question where the sauce was

Staff are so lovely here. The food compared to my local nandos is unrecognisable. I dont know how some places can get it so wrong while others, like this place, are consistently good.

3.5 for a pretty usual experience at Nando's. We were searching for a Kmart and saw one here so stopped to come in - nothing really for lunch as I hate the neighbour restaurant so Nando's it was. <br/><br/>Thank goodness they have some cool bites now - had the olives which were spicy and good. I love olives and these were up there with the better ones. <br/><br/>Corn here is insanely good. Mango and lime glaze even better. <br/><br/>Little one had some chicken thighs and a couple of chips which was good - the partner a chicken burger and he said it was fine - but the new buns are weird and hard! <br/><br/>Clean inside and out - not fine dining but better than most in the area.

Terrible service the food was even worse seemed like reheated left overs. Staff could hardly communicate in English. Won't even recommend to my worst enemy.<br/>A disgrace to Nandos brand

I have tried nandos for the first time during my visit to Australia.The best part is they offer various spice levels of sauce so.as a south Indian I choose the most spiciest one.The chick was so soft,well cooked and the flavour is good.

The food was quite good, but the sauces weren't as spicy as I thought they would be. Additionally, they cost extra for water, and refuse to provide tap water. Ambience is good. The location is quite nice especially during dinner times in the summer, with breeze outside. It is quite expensive, and I remember I wasn't able to digest the food properly as I had gotten an upset stomach the next day.

Casual dining at Nandos is good to have the peri peri flavour lingering. Although a fast food chain Nandos brings in a spicy food quick serve - fill your hunger option.<br/>Resvist: Yes

Nando's was the best thing that happened to Burwood One. We come here for the exceptional peri peri chips. Staff are wonderful here and are happy to top up the sauce bottles if asked to. Always room to sit down and have a hearty meal. Plenty of serviettes to wipe away the evidence!

Been here twice with friend. We ordered supremo all in a burger, chicken blt pita and chips. Service is okay. Taste-wise average. Chips a bit soggy. <br/><br/>The second time, we ordered mixed platter to share. Portions were small. On the whole I would considered it expensive.

GOSH DAMN! This should be the Nandos of all Nandos! it's very rare to find such a popular restaurant show you how its really done. This specific place does everything right! Service was fast, the chicken cooked tender and juicy. Chips did not let down either as it was fried perfectly! Probably the best i have had in a long time. I think i was just so surprised how a pretty standard food joint could have such a great dining and eating experience. Highly recommend!

I love Nandos.. But this particular one is definitely one of the best I have been to. Staff are always very friendly and efficient and the restaurant is always nice and clean. Sauces, cutlery, extra plates and napkins are always stocked! Generous serves of chips and delicious chicken.. You can't go wrong!

Let down. I have stopped coming to this Nando's as they can never get my order right and the staff couldn't care less!!

Thankyou megumi. Came here last wednesday, the service was great and they actually brought us our food promptly. The waitress, Megumi was lovely.

Yuk. No customer service at all and food was half raw took one byte and had to throw it out .. Won't go back there again
