Review Noodle Canteen - Burwood

Worst noodles I've ever had, waited almost 30 minutes for takeaway with only 2 customers ahead of me. After waiting 25 minutes I made the mistake of asking if he had started my order yet as I hadn't yet payed and was going to cancel when the man working there told me he was almost done. 3-4 minutes later he handed me the order when I'm sure he only started it after I asked. Firstly the paste was not stirred through properly, second it tasted strongly of seafood and the person before ordered seafood so obviously he didn't wash the wok at all and thirdly there was basically no vegetables and very little chicken. Was basically just noodles and paste. Only managed to eat 2 mouthfuls and chucked in the bin.

My partner and I were in the mood for noodles the other night, however, due to the global situation we can't sit in anywhere and the first noodle restaurants that came to mind were too far away. I remembered seeing this establishment on the way to work and decided to give it a go. First off, don't let the exterior fool you - this place is actually great. Really friendly owner/chef, and he can make any dish vegetarian! We tried number 4 and 9 off the menu and both were delicious. I am definitely making this my regularly noodle place.

Good value. Great portion sizes. Very friendly man. Menus written in English too! Well worth supporting.

Top class quality food. But the best thing is the man who works here, I suppose he is the owner. He is in true sense a Gentlemen Hat's off !!!

I went there regularly until I moved from the area. It's a tiny little shop but very reasonably priced, quick service and awesome sambal chilli noodles.

Always open late, tasty and a good price. I like this place a lot.

Excellent option. Non standard quality at a regular price. Consistent flavor wvery time. Open on sundays been there a few times and always good

Really good, really fast.. Not only were my noodles delicious, but they were incredibly quick. Standard noodle shop pricing.

Food is really good. However they use the same wok for cooking. Advise against visiting if you are allergic to sea food. Ambience leaves a lot to be desired for.
