My favourite restaurant in the world. My wife and I moved away from Byron after growing up and living there for 20+ years and is still our favourite place for a beautiful meal. If you don't to go the Cypress Tree when you're in Byron then you are missing out! The seafood platter is our pick of the menu everytime. Just amazing.

What an absolute gem. It was hard to choose from the excellent menu. The food was well presented, generous and very tasty. The staff were attentive and friendly. We’d recently enjoyed some time in both Cyprus and Greece and this food was very authentic. Will definitely return.

Tried to make us get the p/p share plater when we all wanted something different.
Once we ordered separate meals they totally ignored us and tried to take our plates away whilst still finishing off ourmeals.
Once they finally removed our plates they abruptly put the bill on the table instead of asking if we would like to have desert.
We are great tippers but I'm afraid we left none due to our experience.

What a great restaurant! Small and intimate, with a great Mediterranean atmosphere. Staff are warm and welcoming. Limited in house alcoholic beverages are well complimented with a very local BYO from the bottle shop across the road. We had the prawns and scallops entree, not too bad... However, the real gems are the sides of octopus (top 10 in this reviewers palette!) and the calamari. Side portions are super generous and delicious. Will come again! 🐙🦑🦐🇬🇷

Absolutely delightful, if you want to experience an authentic Greek dish in Byron Bay or anyway in Northern NSW, this is the place. The food is almost exactly like food in the middle of Greece, the food is also plentiful and the service is prompt and engaging. A very good place to come highly recommend

We had a fabulous meal and were very well looked after by our lovely waitress Emily (with the most Aussie New Jersey accent ever!). We decided on the Traditional meze plate which had a great selection of meat and seafood and was ample for both of us. We couldn't resist the baklava and turkish delight with Greek coffee! Amazing!

Best meal I've had along the East coast. How do they get the octopus so tender yet flavorful? Had the fish platter. Fresh seafood, beautifully cooked (charred for flavour but not overcooked) and very reasonable prices. Do yourself a favour and eat here if you are anywhere nearby. Heck, come this way just to eat here.

Definately within the top tier of restaurants in Byron! The food is the best Greek/Cypriot food iv ever had and i love Greek food! I went with my mates and we all absolutely loved every part of the dinner experience, especially the lively, fun vibe. It is a must to visit this place during your time in Byron!

The waitress suggested me a seafood mixed platter for two $42.50. I also looked at the menu there is no listing any condition. When I got a bill, They charged me double price $85. The waitress said the price is charged by per head so the price is multiply by how many people with this platter. I checked this restaurant's review and I found out many people have same my experience after I had very bad feeling. I don't understand this frozen seafood how can charged so expensive!!! They are misleading to the consumer why is no one complain??

Came here after walking out of another restaurant and were greeted by lovely friendly staff who were efficient and kind to walk to. The place is little but filled with family love which makes the food taste even better. A delicious array of Mediterranean flavours spilling out of dishes and all served quickly and at good prices. <br/>Definitely go!

A little gem with great food and service, at reasonable price and BYO. Love the fish and the bay bug. No fancy cooking. The food is fresh, well seasoned and you can tell the real taste of the food. Like the Mediterranean rice and greek salad too. Will definitely come again!

We sat inside and it was very hot so it made it somewhat uncomfortable before we are our food .<br/>The food was average .<br/>If you have had Greek food before then it would be highly likely that you would be disappointed.<br/>Nevertheless it filled us up.

Always Great!. We have been eating Cyprus Tree since the late 90s and it has always been excellent. One of my favourite restaurants anywhere in the world (and I have eaten at a lot). Very nice people who run it . I would recommend Cyprus Tree strongly!

Beautiful Mediteranean food, served by friendly staff and at reasonable prices, in the most convenient location. Favourite restaurant in Byron. We make sure to return here every time we go. The food is fantastic. The mixed platter is usually our go to, the mix of meat and seafood is enough to keep everyone happy. I love how fresh and well cooked the seafood is! We tried the halloumi and dips for starters, also a winner. This is as good as any Greek restaurant in Sydney.<br/>And they were very nice to sneak us a table at the last minute. Will be back the next time we come to Byron.
