Ordered on Sunday lunch around 11:30am.
Oil was still heating for the chips, despite being open for 30minutes. They did inform us of the case so the wait (30minutes) was OK.
Friendly staff, although quite rushed.
Burgers were a generous size. Each of the four people I was with got beef. I would go back to try the chicken after reading other reviews. Chips were OK, nothing special.

I used to work in Byron few years back n when you were in Feros Arcade n uses to get your chicken burgers often. So when I was in Byron after all these years I thought I would track you down n have a burger after all these years. But sadly it wasn't like I remembered, don't get me wrong it was nice but not outstanding like I remember

Guys! Been coming here for years! Absolutely f@cks my dinner plans when it’s says your open till 9 and I’m calling to order at 730 but no one answers so I drive there and your bloody shut!? If your going to close at 8 bloody change your dam time tables.

Cheap and delicious burger. I went for their beef burger but chicken is probably a better option. I'd be coming back to try their chicken burgers and other dishes.
Love their chilli sauce. Right amount of spiciness, very fresh with unique flavours. Remember to ask for chilli sauce. It'd go well with chicken.
Hot chips was great. Crispy and fluffy inside. Delicious but a bit too much chicken salt.

This manager was laughing at me because of how i look.. he made me feel so discriminated.. him and the other worker were speaking about me behind the counter.. he made several mean remarks. I have never in my life felt so belittled by someone!
I do not recommend ever walking into this shop because i sure know i will never! again!
If you like the food wich i didn’t get a chance to eat my food because i left after i ordered and paid as i felt so discriminated.. uber eats it so you never have to feel how i felt yesterday..
before i left i asked for my drink he slammed it on the table in front of me.. that was the end of it for me.. i will not tolerate being treated like this in this day of age and nor should you!

if i could give this place 0 stars I would, the staff are judgmental and arrogant. they judged me off my race I am Muslim & was mean to my son who is only 8 years old. the workers name gokhan gave me death stares which almost brung me to tears . He allowed other white customers to wait inside and told me I wasn’t allowed to wait inside. he slammed the drink on the table and he made me feel belittled. Lost my appetite and couldn’t eat my food but customer service was horrid.

The best Portuguese chicken burger I've had in Australia hands down.
Oportos, Frangos, Ogalos holds nothing compared to this burger joint.
Burger was juicy, well cooked and had a lot of chilli (not too spicy) and mayo which kept it moist and flavourful.
Great value for money as well with fresh crunchy chips each time!
The owner is a awesome guy, always keen for a chat and a laugh.
A must visit in Byron!

Best Portuguese burgers in Australia by a long shot. Definitely grab one of the chicken burgers with the chilli sauce, or the special salad if you're after a meal that won't set your mouth on fire. Fair warning, the burgers have enough garlic on them to kill a small family of vampires, and it's bloody delicious. Thus place is one of the main reasons to visit Byron Bay apart from the beach and the chill people.
