I will never be going back to Fel's Kitchen and l personally know a few other girlfriends who refuse to go back due to the rudeness of the owner. She shouldn't be serving any customers. We all work in town and love the idea of the salad bar and want to eat healthy meals for lunch but we can no longer justify giving our money to Fel's Kitchen. She makes me feel like l'm inconveniencing her every time l stop by. I asked a simple question about peanuts as l have a peanut allergy and she she asked me if l was anaphylactic which l responded with 'No' but my allergy is still severe and she made me feel that it wasn't valid or significant. Which made me feel uncertain about eating anything. I have also had issues where she won't let me buy one thing without purchasing a second menu item and l quote 'I can't sell you the fritter without a salad'. I don't understand why it's an issue if l want to purchase one thing?

There are a few genuine Byron Bay establishments that embody the essence of Byron. If you've lunched in Byron, you'll know what I mean. For everyone else, what I'm trying to say is, this establishment is faithfully Byron spirited without being too "earthy" or too "toffee"! Excellent simple food of very high quality served with manners and pleasantries. It's not the cheapest nor most expensive, but excellent value for money.

Look for another cafe. Sadly have experienced Rudeness from the owners on multiple occasions. Won’t be returning. Opens hours mention 6am and turn away at 7am saying they don’t open until 8 however there signs are up and doors are open.

The food is beautiful but the owner comes across as very unfriendly. If you try to ask questions about the menu the responses are curt and she seems personally annoyed. It is such a shame because everything else about this cafe is great.

We love this place! Our go to breaky spot in Byron. Only discovered it last time we were in Byron and we ended up back there every morning for breakfast, coffees and smoothies. Incredible friendly staff and owners. Decent price. Good little spot to eat. Really fresh, healthy eats that are incredibly tasty. Thanks for such a memorable time!
